Yes it is in my opinion one of the best tanks of the war thunder mainly because some german mains know exactly how to use the tiger and I know how to use it to kill everything I see in every game with it. because I know exactly where to hit and I know how to fight in the tiger specifically the tiger H1 one not the tiger E, However this is only my opinion but the panther was by far the better tank when it comes to the tiger
Phly, though your masterclass was extremely good, it was ineffective to the masses of wehraboo tiger players since their smooth monke ape brain didn't really understand what in the hell you were doing with the strongest tank of all time

The mine launchers on the tiger weren't even on most tigers it was very mission specific piece of equipment that would be mounted to any vehicle. theres more pics of them on the pz3 and 4 than the tiger.
You make the same mistake I used to friend :-) Expecting the game is even remotely "realistic" They have some brilliant vehicle models, but that's as far as the realism goes. And it seems they're starting to get that wrong as well.

But yea as you stated, the vast majority of German tanks (even late-war) were Pz 3's and 4's. I'm pretty sure the only Tiger's the Americans (for example) ever engaged in the entire French Campaign was a crew-less Tiger 1 sitting on a railcar lmao. Just for some perspective.
@@getmeoutofsanfrancisco9917 yes im aware of this. Its been a few years but i believe the US troops had 3 interactions with Tiger I tanks that were actually active. A luckily small amount. Considering the shape of the PzIII & PzIV's, at distance they could appear to be a Tiger I. So i cant disparage the constant false reporting of US Troops in contact with Tiger I's. Just like all other wars Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of all ranks were known to embellish many many things. I cant fault them for being human, however it does make the reading and understanding of history alot harder to grasp.
Yes, same for me, lots of uptiers, but the German 5.3->6.3 uptier is not to bad, still nothing I cant kill in my Tiger, or that can kill my Tiger to easily. The German 6.7->7.7 uptier (which is to common) made me stop totally with Tiger 2 games tho, unfortunately.
Never realised the seemingly random lack of gun depression sometimes is due to the anti personal lauchers. I thought it was some glitch. It is fustrating, they are literally wherer you need to line up the gun barrel to angle. I have died many times when I didn't get the depression I was expecting. Gaijin should remove them, or just make them visual only.
@@Finlandia207 Well that's because the late war guns such as the 76mm M1, 85mm, 122mm and the 17pdr could easily penetrate the Tiger 1 front plate easily.
@@crazyadam9281 at 10 meters and a less than 10 degree angle yes it can easily pen but usually it just one shots you cuz tiger 1s have one of the best guns and some of the best armor i that br range only reason its only 5.3 is because most early german mains are hella asss at the game
@33:15 gotta love the players in chat... let me guess, US server, on a weekend. I never seem to get in a position where it's just me one on one against another tank. If I angle for one guy, it means I'm giving flat armour to another.
I had a match end while I was playing cas and got to listen to plane engines and watch a black screen for about 3 minutes before it let me go to the hangar
I recently got into the Germany tech tree after getting US and RU to rank 5 and 4 respectively. God I love the German tree, the two tiger 1’s and the panthers are actually incredible.
The Panthers are probably pound for pound the best mediums in the game. The long 75 is insane. 1-clicks literally everything except for American 6.7 Fatbois you see sometimes
On a unit level this might be the best WWII tank, certainly in my book and certainly beats the panther because by 1944 it had become rather reliable (readiness numbers rival that of the Pz IV), didn't have the final drive issues and whas overall better armored. The gun was more destructive as well. And unlike the panther and King tiger this really was a quality piece of equipment, well put together with a lot of thought going in to it. It was very easy to drive and rather comfortable for a tank (even the seats were wrapped in leather). The welding quality was superb as well unlike the t34 whose weld seams would give a German welder a brain aneurysm. The tiger was rather quick for a heavy tank and surprisingly agile. The downsides are low production rate and high cost,coupled with a lack of proper support- and most importantly, recovery vehicles. The only tank tank that reaches the tigers level in my opinion is the Sherman because it was just so versatile and unlike the t34 actually had some quality control.
Yeah the black screen happens after every game and I also get stuck in the processing operation when I unlock a modification in any type of vehicle for no less than 30 seconds of waiting.
Don't bring it out in an uptier - so it is not going to be used 90% of the time then :-). I usually do ok in uptier cause I tend to be more cautious. Awesome content Bawz, love your channel!
Idk if all of you guys know this but on the jumbo if you can’t get that shot Into the machine gun port the neck part on the turret you can shoot straight through that alot of people who use jumbo expect you to try and shoot that machine guns port so that neck part on the turret is a great spot to surprise them
I love the fact that most german tech tree players complain that the Tiger is not good enough but what they don’t understand is that you need to play much more passively due to it lacking in armour and even the gun at some points. (I play German Tech tree)
Yes I get lags now and then. Or packet loss out of no where for a few secs and the worst is getting DC and then beeing punished with crew lock afterwards...
Is it really this much better to use the less pen more tnt shell on the tiger? I always went for the one with more penetration assuming that if i can't get more tnt into an enemy tank it's pretty inefficient to give it up. (Sorry if this comment is unintelligible, i am a bit sick and it makes me crazy)

The servers have been the worst I've ever seen this weekend. Below 30 fps in game (normal 120 and higher for me), server disconnecting, building a new lineup takes ages just to name a few
My god the amount of times I get suck in a loading screen after a game or changing my presets. Also having issues when I do modifications. So dang dumb.

So far im having better luck in the KV2 probably because it doesnt require much skill to play lol but its SO much fun to one shot people. i even found i can one shot Tigers head on if i aim to the left (or right) of the barrel
