This video I am showing you guys about two locally beloved teashop that tourists might not know unless they know a local here.
Teashops have always been a part of Myanmar cultural for decades. Burmese people like to get breakfast at teashops in the morning, they mingle with each other talking about their lives and other stuffs while drinking tea. So a nice comfy teashop with good food is important to start a good day. And this is how to eat breakfast like a Burmese.

That was super ❤ Mannn, watching you eat all those Burmese cuisine made me want to fly there right now :) The ones I'm looking forward to the most are those noodles salad and the fish balls 😊 My family wanted to visit Myanmar soon but the News broadcasts have been scaring us about the civil unrest there. May I ask if there are things we need to worry about, or if it's all chill scenes right now :) ? We are Indians and Americans :) I'm commenting from Bangalore City :) Thank you for making this beautiful video. Excellent job :)

@@johnybrokeit Thank you! Glad you liked the video ^^ Big cities like where I'm from Yangon and Mandalay(be more careful in Mandalay tho) are pretty chill. Everybody is just living their lives. As long as you don't go against the law of course😅. I do recommend not to visit the countrysides yet. Other than that everything is alright. I see foreigners in YGN all the time.

Noodle salad look delicious.What western dish is the closest taste to it?I know there are a lot of differences.But couldn't imagine how its taste gonna be.
@jenovia22
@jenovia22 2 месяца назад
I don't think there's any that I know of. The only similarity is the texture which is like eating a pasta dish. As for the taste it's salty, savory, creamy of chicken & chili oil.

@@jenovia22 Rangoon Teahouse is a rip-off place, pricing items 10-20 times higher than the normal.
@jenovia22
@jenovia22 2 месяца назад
@@betserv.1187 I get what you're trying to say. 10-20 times is a big exaggeration. You have to consider the location, quality of the ingredients, difference of the tastes, the presentation, the decorations, environment vibes and the services. You can't get those at a normal teashop. Basically you get what you pay for.
@betserv.1187
@betserv.1187 2 месяца назад
@@jenovia22 Not necessarily. The service at Rangoon Teahouse is not as good as that at typical tea shops. The food there tastes subpar. I have been to places with similar or better ambience and vibe. In light of that, the prices shouldn't be higher than 2x or 2.5x the normal prices charged at typical tea shops. Still, some people don't mind getting ripped off. The same is true for LV bags with an average cost of making around $50-60 per bag which many people still pay $2000-3000 per bag. People don't mind having to pay ridiculous price or don't know they are ripped off by those rip-off businesses.
@jenovia22
@jenovia22 2 месяца назад
@@betserv.1187 Unfortunately it must not be for your range then. Every person I know who's been there and both normal teashop have no complains about their price. Every class of restaurant have their own respective customers.
