With Swarm you gotta mention how the ride itself is so built into the theming, being kidnapped by the aliens and being taken for a fly around, with the ride photos being “missing persons” and finally there’s “THIS IS IT. THERE IS NO ESCAPING THE SWARM NOW. JUST SIT BACK, BRACE YOURSELF, AND PRAY” that I’ve heard often enough to know off of the top of my head after riding twice
earlier smiler is definitely better as they sadly got rid of some of the marmalisation stuff. a refurb of oblivion would take x-sector to top 5 imo. bit weird that he grouped all of x-sector but not all of forbidden valley...
I would say it's between Nemesis Reborn and Wicker Man. Nemesis Reborn has a better themed queue, but Wicker Man does have probably the best pre-show in the UK.
@BigPappaEarl1938 The station theming's good, and so is the gift shop, There's the pre-show, and the surrounding area of Wicker Man is themed so much that it's not really part of Mutiny Bay.
Forbidden valley has to be one of the best themed areas in the UK, at least to the front of the area, once you go past rollercoaster restaurant it goes downhill (theme wise)
@@Thrillseeker01 I wasn't being fr👍 fearless valley still looks like a construction sire compared to nemesis reborn area which is top tier themeing imo
Soundtrack's good, but as a blind person, I'm also a bit disappointed. In the queue, Hyperia doesn't talk about her story, and she does have some announcements about the Valley but I don't even know if she does the usual ride safety announcement anymore. Unless all the blogs I watched just cut it out? If anyone in the know could clarify, I'd be really interested to know either way.
Paultons park just keep getting better and better with the theming and I can’t wait to see there future Investments as it’s definitely the best park for full themed experiences
Have the say the theming in the Paulton Park lands is getting better and better. Use to go there when it was just a large park with hardly any rides and was mostly animals.
Icon has potential tbf, I wish they made it more Japanese/samurai theme (I think that’s the theme of icon) with maybe a large samurai temple in the centre or something
Most uk roller coasters in the UK are themed greatly and I agree with people saying nemesis reborn or the swarm but my opinion is that saw the ride is the best themed from the saw blades and the dark part it’s just amazing
Hi Dan! I was wondering if I could get some advice, I find rollercoasters really fun and interesting but I'm really scared of going upside down because I'm scared that it'll make me feel sick. Do you have any advice? I've been on some big rides such as Stealth but I'd really like to try and ride more coasters!
In terms of area, I think the new Forbidden Valley has to be the best, but in terms of ride, the way the Swarm interacts with the theming with the near miss elements and how much effort went into that ride definitely places it top for me.
As a blind person and out of the stuff I've done actually in person, I agree. The sound in the queue builds up, and you can hear the organ booming as you get towards the station, but when you step in, it's another level because the floor feels different, the smell hits you in a good way and the music just envelops you. Now if we're talking best themed ride in Chessington, I am, completely unironically, going to say Croc Drop with Tomb Blaster being very close behind but when I went, the new indoor queue area soundtracks had been completely turned off so I still don't know what that's like anymore. But Croc Drop has very specific music around each of it's areas: queue, opening, loading, ride experience and ending. But going back to this video, Vampire's absolutely awesome, again I say this unironically.
Alton towers need geometry dash themed coasters, to anyone who has never seen any online levels of the game might think I’m crazy but when u see them, you will see why I think this way
Where is Thomas land???? Mate, you can forget about Thomas and Percy’s submarine splash…. The soundtrack is immense and the double down is intense (like my rhyming??) anyway Thomas land should have its own category as it’s leagues above tornado spring and forbidden valley!!!!!!!!
Something tells me that Paultons Park has a gun to your head if you say "tornado springs" is there I guess. Lol. Nah all jokes aside tornado springs is definitely the best themed area in the UK. No questions asked as it's also my local park 😁
Dino Stone Park deserves some love at flamingoland the whole area , the dino animatronics the rides Twistosaurus pterodactyl and dino roller but nothing will beat forbidden valley! More points to alton if they retheme galactica for 2025

@@leerevell8623 there are wings on the station, wood chippings, a burger King next door, and there's a splashdown section which doesn't get used, it has great themeing
