I got an Aula F75 for $59.17 In a flash sale a few days ago. I got the black keycaps with yellow accent keys. The double-shot keys are beautiful. The linear switches it comes with are nice, but I like tactile, so I put some Glorious Panda switches I had in it. I'm loving it. I could live without the knob, but I'm okay with it.
I have the Aula F75 ice vein. True, the linear creaminess of the switch needs getting used to. I'd probably try out other switches soon But, over all for the price. this keyboard is budget king
I'm going to add, as a lover of low profile keyboards, womier low profile keycaps are being sold for a little less than usual. I've been using them for like a year now, and I love typing on them. (it definitely feels more like typing on a laptop keyboard, which is what I mostly used before I got into mechanical keyboards, so I love that key profile)
My first foray into mechanical keyboards is the yunzii al75. I purchased on prime day deal. I will be using this in a single person office. Wish me luck. Thanks for the list!
I bought the F99 Pro on Prime Day from MechLands bc I wanted the F99 but didn’t want north facing LEDs. I found MechLands was the only retailer with the options I wanted - F99 Pro (Star arrow switches) with south facing LEDs & a larger “0” key on my num pad - all for $70 and I’m very happy! The switches are a bit sensitive compared to what I’m used to - these switches are 40g 1.5-3.7 mm actuation.
Oh my gosh, thank you so much. This was the video I had been waiting for. I got a rainy 75. I’ve been wanting one for months. Thank you Switch and Click.
Thanks for the info. I ended up getting three, one for me, one for a gift, one to return. And needed a full size keyboard. 1. Nuphy Air96 V2 ($120 something). 2. EPOMAKER x Aula F99 ($66) 3. Aula F99 Pro ($71 - looks like a metal case? Couldn't find any reviews).
@@brianholthouse8548 Funny, I’ve been looking at the Rainy, the Womier sk75 as well as that Crush 80 which looks so solid and love the style……just can’t decide.
@@brianholthouse8548 well.. now its back to 115 again. i ordered it for 99 2-3 days ago and the eta is nov. 28 so if i knew that i probably wouldve spent the extra money to get it sooner anyway
On Prime day I copped the creamy af MCHOSE K99 for $95 (normally 119) and the KiiBoom Loop 75 for $135 (normally $170). The Yunzii AL75 certainly was tempting but I think I'm happy with my purchases. Yall really should check out the the MCHOSE keeb if you haven't already, love creamy sounds, and having a numpad is important to you. I may not even mod this one, it sounds so good right outta the box.
I bought the Leobog Hi75 the other day for work, I dropped in the Akko V3 Creamy Yellow Pro switches and MOA profile keycaps. Let me just say, WOW HOLY HELL it sounds incredibly creamy and marbly and smooth, HIGHLY recommend for sound and feel. Con is that you need the software or else the knob turns off or sleeps your computer, after installing the software the knob adjusted the volume as it was supposed to. However, you don't have to touch the software after the driver is installed and I don't ever run the software for any reason. I'm super tempted to get the Rainy75 for home.
Watching this after Prime Day is really fascinating. For example, that Wobkey was marked down to 127 from 160 in the video, but now the link shows it full price for 140. This is why I don't trust Prime Day sales.
Wow, that is interesting. They try to make it look like a bigger deal than it actually is. It was still the cheapest you could get it from anywhere, but the way they try to motivate you to buy is underhanded.
I'm kinda new at this so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I picked up the Dareu EK75 Pro and the Epomaker Shadow-X for $42 and $48 respectively. I didn't really care for the Epomaker. It sounded a bit clacky for my taste and the gasket mount had zero give. The layout was a bit too cramped for me as well. So it's going back. The Dareu was surprisingly good. They are using their own Dareu Dream switches. it has south facing LEDs which will take a little getting used to. I've been using shine through keys for the last 20 years. is it the best keyboard in the world? Absolutely not. But I think it was worth the $42 I paid. It looks like it's still on sale for $54. I'd say it's still worth a look.
I have most of these new AL budget 75s... worth noting, which you may have in your review that the AL75 has a VERY low front height making it easy to use without a wrist rest if that matters and it's a clack master with the blue/grey swtiches. All the others are pretty similar IMHO. If you don't want AL I think the Halo75 v2 is on sale as well and one has actually stayed in my rotation since I got it. The RGB is stunning and it just sounds great! Price wise those the Aula F75 is dang hard to beat! I reviewed the Epomaker version with the front shine through caps and loved that board! Fantastic list!
On the one hand I don't need any more boards, on the other hand I bought a bunch of MMD Princess 62g tactile switches to try out. Why must you tempt me.
Switch travel distance is a problem with cherry mx red keys, its disgustingly far, i want shorter travel, with rounded caps, and stiff heavy board feel with zero hollowness - like a brick. ❤
Thanks for all the info. I wish there were more 65% options but still good deals for folks. Good options to dip your toes into it or even more advanced. They would all be an upgrade over my cheap optical board, but after some simple mods, I'm happy with my little $30 keeb...just wish more options existed for the optical switches without having to frankenstein my own lol
I have the SK65 and love it. It has worked flawlessly but I do wish it had VIA however it is a great keyboard. It is one of my favorites and I have about 30 keyboards and a Shortcut Studio Bridge75 Plus on the way. Now if the reviews are true then I know the Bridge75 Plus is going to be awesome and I am looking forward to it, BTW it is VIA compatible.
I have that lucky 65 board. I love my board. Not very customizable when talking about the foams and plate. I have done the tape mod and switched to gateron oil kings and it sounds great. removing the foam in the case made the flex WAY too much for me
Hi, I’ve ordered the keychron v6 full sized with double-shot PBT and osa profile. I don’t think the keys will let the light show through the lettering. Can you recommend key caps that will allow this?
Is that sk71 the same as the al71? It looks like it. I have the al71 and it's my favorite keyboard I've ever had. But I miss my function keys lol...I've also been looking at low profiles so idk what ima get yet.
hey...last time i watched your review. and thanks bought ducky one. i love it!! .. . but the keys clicking too "soft"(?) and too far (distance)? any recommend? thanks switch_click : )
Where can I find the feature table that I see you do in videos sometimes? Also do you do latency tests? if you don't, I would love to see the latency tests of the keyboards you review
Please do make a review for the HyperX Rise lol. For some reason barely anybody has even made a video about it no idea why. One issue some people have shared is that the keyboard doesn't always get detected by Ngenuity. I also saw the Keychron V1 on sale for $68, it looks very good at that price.
@@SwitchandClickOfficial Desk! I was planning on getting the rainy 75 but keep being told to get the flow84 while it’s on sale. I’m upgrading from a $25 work keyboard so I’m not sure if I have a preference for low profile or not. I’ll be using it for work as well as gaming. Thank you!!
@@Sivan250I personally don’t love the switches on the flow84, too heavy. And the keycaps don’t shine through. I do like the Flow Lite which is in Kickstarter right now. Video on it this weekend.
I do, especially if you buy through Amazon. Epomaker has told me they're working on their customer support, but it still stands that they have a poor reputation for customer support. Buying from Amazon gives you free returns in case anything goes wrong.
After awhile and you're not a tunnel visioned fan, these keyboards are basically all the same. From China, cloned and mass reproduced. Just get 1 and stick to it, dont go chasing keebs after keebs.
nah most of the options she listed have good input latency, they're only missing hall effect which doesn't really impact performance unless ur mega tryhard
