This was a wonderful you tube video . Thank you for sharing with us newbies 🖌Can you wash the pillow case and/or do I need to add some sort of sealer first ? If I wanted to make the lemonade or the lemons yellow how do I go about that?
Hi there! Yes, you can wash it, but you'll want to use a gentle soap and let it air dry. Paint doesn't come out of clothes, so it will be similar to that. You can undercoat the lemons or lemonade with a white paint first, then paint yellow over top of that.
I just discovered your videos and, of course, subscribed! Thanks for sharing. No matter how long I've been stenciling, I love watching others and gaining knowledge. You can never have too much info! Where did you get your paint bottles? I once used fico bottles, and paint would dry up inside, just wasted paint. I stopped using them. I like the bottles you're using. Please let me know, I want some! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Lisa!! Thank you so much for watching!!! We actually get the honey bottles from Amazon. I will include our Amazon affiliate link so that you can check them out! You can also find us at studior12.com/ 👉Honey Bottles: amzn.to/3qqygp5
Hi there, Hall Hall! Although fabric paint might be softer, it's perfectly fine to use acrylic. It's nearly impossible to get acrylic paint off of fabric.
I have never painted on fabric, so as you can imagine completely stupid on the subject. Recently I made slip cover for my sofa and love seat and wanting bolster pillows to go on it and haven't been able to find fabric I like, without paying a fortune for it, to make them. Decided to use canvas fabric and would like to put stripes of several different colors on it. What would be the best paint to use and also tape so the colors won't bleed? Also would paint be used as purchased or thinned? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Linda!! Thank you for asking! You can use acrylic paint or fabric paint. We do not recommend thinning it. It will increase your chances of bleeding under. We have stretchy tape on our website that will be good for this. You can also use a multimasker or a scrap piece of mylar for this. I will include the links for these items below: 👉Stretchy Tape: bit.ly/3pmQMQo 👉 Multimasker Tool: bit.ly/3AoJkuk 👉 Scrap Mylar: bit.ly/3Pob72A We also recommend using an adhesive on the back of the stencil to help prevent bleeding, especially if you're using stripes. Aleene's stick and restick or the crafter's tape - both on our website. 👉 Crafter's Tape Runner: bit.ly/3bSI4GL 👉 Aleene's Stick & Restick Adhesive: bit.ly/3QNhtJZ I hope this helps a bit!! Have fun painting!! 🎨

Hi Brenda! You can heat-set with an iron and a pressing cloth (i.e. a thin cloth napkin). Paint: Any good quality craft Acrylic paint will work. Hand-washing/hand-drying (drip-dry) works well. When possible, turn garments inside-out for laundering. Avoid hot water washing. This can soften and loosen acrylic paint from the garment.
