I' v lived in "Sin City"for over 20 yrs and with a little effort and ingenuity u can get buy on less money than thought..And of course the Members Cards are ur best first stopping off point.👍
Hey guys! I found a hidden gem! Free bowling at The Nerd in Fremont!! Cool place, retro vibe, and they have a bar! Also, next time you're I'm Fremont, check out Axehole Vegas. They're on the downstairs floor from The Nerd
Tangerine Travels Can you please list, in writing underneath the videos exactly where you go to get your bennies? What websites specifically do you use? In other words, for people who do not always have time to listen to the whole video to hear your suggestions.
First thing I do every time I'm in Vegas is buy a 12 pack of beer and a bottle of Bacardi rum at Walgreens. I've spent $60 gambling waiting on a free drink before, never again.
Loved your last Vegas tips video & this one is AWESOME!! We just went a couple weeks ago, and your tips were so on point! I only had a couple weeks prior to the trip but was still able to accumulate enough gold coins on the apps to save about $300.- total. Now I’ve got my whole family playing so we can really go cheap on our next trip! 💕
Great info as usual! You two are such a pleasure to watch. Always so upbeat and Jordan's punny jokes always make me LOL. Thanks for another installment!
I’m from Canada, and I use a similar system. Use air miles for plane, Vegas game for hotel and buffet food, I will shop in the second hand stores and take buses everywhere. Don’t spend much time in the pool, too many people. We also see live bands, watch the street performers. We gamble; we take 20.00 put that In the machine, as soon as it goes over 5.00, we pull it, put the five away and keep going with the 20.00 at the end of the trip we buy our clothes out of winnings or go back to the street performers and give it too them.
Okay I'm really showing my age on this one... Who out there remembers "Slots of Fun?" That was always my first stop ... you get a killer and delicious hot dog the size of your arm plus either a bottle of ice cold Heineken or a huge shot of Jagermeister for a $1.50... Ahh, those were the days
We made a LAS VEGAS Facebook group to share more tips & tricks, pictures, and connect with our fellow Vegas lovers. 😀👉Join it here: facebook.com/groups/LasVegasTangerineTravels/
Hey Maddie, I just wanted to tell you and Jordan that I love your videos. My husband and I are serious about moving and semi-retirement in Mexico. Thanks for all the work you put into your videos. Btw, Maddie that black dress looks great on you. 😁
Oh my god! I wish saw this video before. I was just in Vegas last weekend for only 2 nights and I felt like I spent soooo much money! But now, watching this is gonna help me and my GF next time we go :) Thank you so much!
When I was full-time in college and working for Walmart 3 days per week at $10.50/hour, I went to Las Vegas twice within 6 months of each other and had a great trip. I gambled, had good show tickets, ate great food, and enjoyed the entire trip....on a budget.
Thanks for the tip about using the wifi in the Lima, Peru airport. I just flew in and out en route to Trujillo and requested an Uber in Lima using the airport wifi. This was a big help.
This is the first (I’ve seen) of this couple where I actually thought, “What a cute, happy couple.” Something about this looks like so much fun. Kicking around Vegas with your sweetie, just having fun. Especially liked the fanny pack convo. I’ve been watching their videos in Mexico for a while, but finally I say nice, how cute. Bravo
Just discovered your videos today. At first I thought just a couple of kids who think they know Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised. You two are really well informed and knowledgeable. I've been to Vegas at least a dozen times and I am learning a lot from your videos. I'm forwarding this video and the $75 a day video to my girlfriend. We are going back to Vegas in about a month. Thanks for the great videos!!!
This was a great video. Another tip, look for good flight deals. I'm going to Vegas in a couple of weeks midweek and got my room comped from points and I got RT tickets from Denver to Vegas for $28.65 on Frontier. Since this was an unplanned trip, I'll definitely need to watch my spending and you gave me some great ideas. Also, if you haven't had it, the buffet at the Golden Nugget is one of my favorites and reasonably priced
Great video (as always) ! My wife and I have been visiting Vegas for over ten years and have started documenting our trips also ! Keep those videos coming.....Especially the Vegas tips and tours !
Near the end, trying to explain how to get diamond status without spending a bunch of money was quite difficult with that many drinks in me. Haha. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching!
You're amazing. Great channel and great tips! We live 5 hours from Vegas in AZ and spent maybe 200.00 total in gas, fun, hotel etc.. including our teen daughter coming with us. We are super frugal and this is SO helpful. Thank you! My husband and I will be going again soon and this is a great help!
Great video! Glad you were able to maximize your $$$ and time. I live on the east side of Las Vegas, and think you are pretty brave going out to the pool in this heat. Last few days have been real scorchers! I teach here and school starts for us teachers next week. Hot-Hot-HOT!
Please make a video series on just that: How to get status, comped, free stuff in Vegas. I mean, as much you can without giving everything a-way ... Pretty-please? Honestly? Sounds as though you have to spend an awful lot of money to get "free" stuff. Is it all cost effective, Guys?
@@SuiGenerisAbbie About 105 F during the day. One day it might have gotten up to 108. But, after living in Phoenix for a long time, we're pretty accustomed to that dry heat - In fact, I actually thought it felt good as compared to the hot and humid Puerto Morelos summer.
@@TangerineTravels First off, call me Abbie if only because " ... I Fart Rainbows!" ain't on my birth certificate, and thank you so much for this timely reply (second of all). You kids seems like such sweethearts, and so many people here online can be ever so snarky, and just ... plain ... rude, what with their never replying to questions ... like, e-ver!
Absolutely love the video. This is something my husband and I do all the time. Granted there have been times where we really wanted to do something and saved up the money before hand so the cost wasn't an issue but we definitely don't pay for our hotel rooms anymore outside of the occasional resort fee sometimes. Also the biggest thing that most people make a mistake on is going during super sub prime times. Vegas is always poppin' so we tend to stay during Sundays - Thursdays since rooms are cheaper/comped and there's even less people and definitely avoid the major fight weekends or conventions. Love the vibe of both of you definitely subscribing!
Wow just found you guys, I loved this video! I've never been to Vegas but this gave me a really good idea of what it would be like there and I love all the money saving tips. Subscribed!
Aperol for $1 tip just because you're gambling? Jeezz! Hopefully I'll be there in next February and surely enjoy all of these usefull tips! You guys have one more fan, tks a lot! Already subscribed, hi from Brazil! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Just discovered your channel and I think I've become obsessed! You make me feel really bad for not taking the opportunity while I was younger to see what the world has to offer. Keep up the GREAT videos. I guess I'll just have to live vicariously thru you. I love your unpretentious honesty and inquisitiveness. It makes all of us a whole lot wiser and, for me anyway, very jealous! Safe travels.
I so agree that free Bellagio flowers are my favorite. Love your video. Thank you for posting it. I go to Vegas every year with my two sisters and we love the free stuff. I never thought about getting the cards at the hotels for free stuff. Thanks.
Tangerine Travels I hope nobody wears high heels or boots during their walk to hotels because that is painful! The alternative I gave to people is please wear sandals they are comfortable enough to get you where you need to go.
I'm glad you guys are alive lol. I was worry when you were in Mexico, it looked like you were too relax and trusted the people around you. I'm from Mexico and sometimes I don't feel safe but it might be that I watch too much news.
I love the Linq.. It's in the perfect place and it's always free with any level of Ceasers rewards.. It's also great to see the fountains from the top of the Eiffel Tower. M-Life give those cheap/free at times too.
Yeah, it doesn't take a whole lot of gambling to get offers for free weekday nights at The LINQ. We love the great location in the middle of the strip!
Really helpful video. Not budgeting loads when I hope do my road trip in October but it definitely opened my eyes to how much you can spend and still have a great time! Thanks.
I’ve been watching your channel for a few weeks now and I don’t subscribe easily to RU-vid channels but you two are the best! I admire you for your courage to try something new like moving to Mexico and to learn the culture respectfully. I admit to being afraid of traveling there but not anymore! I’m Mexican from Los Angeles and don’t speak Spanish but I’m inspired by you two. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and life.
Thank you so much guys, my wife and I have binge watched most of your content. This vegas trip was a pleasant surprise, very informative as always. Thanks again
Tangerine Travels in case you don’t believe me, the New York New York hotel 🏨 casino 🎰 and spa 🧖♀️ have Shake shack, a Jewish deli meat place, and siroccos pizza. 🍕 I’m not 100% sure of that I say that name right about the pizzeria.
Clearly Claire they went to the flamingo pool not one of the top party pools. Almost the same as saying I got into a hotel pool but to each their own .
If we had booked in advance there are tons of great pool parties we could have gotten into for free. Since we looked for one day-of it was a different story. Definitely had more of a party vibe than a hotel pool in any case
Tangerine Travels which party pools for free ? I live here and unless you wanna wait in a huge line or pay to skip the line or entry you’re most likely not going to a top pool or with a good performer . Guest lists are extremely over done and crowded. I just warned friends last week when they came in and they still had to pay at the front after waiting an hour . Would’ve been cheaper to pay ahead online than what they paid .
Hubby and I went to Vegas in June and saved 150.00 by playing My Vegas Slots. Didn't redeem all rewards because we ran out of time. Don't forget to turn your location on at home, you will get a lot more rewards.
Great Tips. I don't know why there are so many naysayers. They probably don't go to Vegas that often or maybe not at all. I usually focus on the MyVegas comps but I started playing The Wynn Slots game. I have just enough for a two night stay during the week. Thanks for the tip on that one!
Well... that was both FUN and informative!! I love Jordan's t-shirt. Laska's expression is priceless! I really appreciated the GREAT graphics on the $50 countdown tally board. What surprised me the most was Jordan drinking tequila & soda. Dude, that sounds hard core! I've not tried that before. I look forward giving it a try. Thanks for the awesome video!!!
Thanks so much! We're glad to hear that you liked those graphics because it adds about half a day to the editing process. Despite the extra time, we think it's worth it to make a better video. :) Oh, and if they're using good tequila, a tequila & soda is very easy to drink. I'm kind of a pansy when it comes to strong drinks and those weren't bad at all thanks to the good tequila.
Just got back from Vegas and the 2019 EVO tournament at the Mandalay Bay...... wish I watched this while there. I went broke..... but STILL had a blast !! Love Las Vegas 🔥🔥🔥💯
I ran into couple at the CVS next to Ballys while buying some water. My girlfriend was like oh my god that is that couple we watch on youtube. I of course had to go say hi. How cool to run into a couple of tubers who put out some great informational videos for us newbies to follow and learn. Keep up the great work!!!!! Oh and you were right. The Cromwell is the best!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers from Texas!!!!!!
Y’all are so cool, I’m happy to see there is another cheap but fun couple out there like my husband and I, we love those discounts and freebies, this video made me book my 4th Vegas vacation this year!!! I’m a moth attracted to those flashy lights.
Oh my God I just discovered you guys. I love your videos. You guys are so cute together. You have great ideas I can’t wait till this Covid gets gone and then we can start to travel again.
Normally I only go to Vegas when I have to attend a conference there, but some of my friends go so I'm going to share this video! Next time I go to Vegas I am totally going to re-watch this video first! Plus it was absolutely hysterical watching you guys throughout this video get slowly schnockered. You are always so funny and have great tips. ¡Mil gracias!
We only went to Vegas once and only spent too much on day one. However, we actually went off the strip to buy food at Walmart to save money. Maybe next time will be more fun thanks to you two. Your videos are so much fun!
Thank you so much for this video, my boyfriend, a couple others and I are going in about a week! His 1st time being of age and I'm so excited to have us be going together!!! My 2nd time going(:
Awesome!! Hope you get tons of perks out of it :) Here's a super helpful blog post we used to match status and learn more of the perks that come with it: www.asksebby.com/blog/how-to-status-match-to-caesars-total-rewards-diamond-status
The plan has worked beautifully - I got the IHG Platinum card, used that to get Wyndham status, and today was advised hat I will have Caesars Diamond status in a week! Woo-boo! See you in the VIP line!
Love this video, since I am a frequent Vegas traveler. My budget daily is much higher. I am Diamond status as well, but that was achieved just on gambling alone, no tier matches from other companies. But yes, you can definitely do Vegas and have fun on a limited budget. And I love the Cromwell as well. I have stayed there a number of times, and it is cozy and awesome. You do get drinks quicker there, but I also think the reason is, is that it is a much smaller casino floor, with less people, less machines and table games, so the cocktail waitresses can definitely get around to you faster. Great job guys!!!
I wear fanny packs daily at work, they're amazing for doing things hands free! Love the video guys, I'm going to Vegas in August to get married! 6 1/2 years and we're finally tying the knot ❤️
