Hard to choose between the big four: -Eirin's Theme -This one (Kanako's Theme) -Last Remote -Idolatrize World They've all been my favorite at some point or another :)
Since the last comment I posted I went and 1CC'd PCB and both routes of IN. I've been working on clearing each route of PoFV (not 1cc just clear them at all. You know how Phantasmagoria AI can be). I'm excited to get to MoF because I hear Kanako is infamous. Great work as always Viddy. With your strength, I will Somehow get a 1cc on my First Attempt Ever!!!! (
ngl this song always makes me have battle against a true hero vibes. i even tried to prove my point and it suits undyne's fight as well also I've been waiting for that track for ages and it is finally here!
Makes sense, she's a wind goddess! It's also one of the reasons I appreciate Kuronekolounge's version of this so much, they added water and wind sfx to the climax lol
I've been listening to "SSH" music for over a decade, and I just recently discovered that this is all based on anime girl characters in shooter games. Whatever its based on, this is some of my favorite music and is criminally underrated. Awesome piano rendition! Fantastic work!
ahhh, mountain of faith. my second ever 1cc, but no doubt the more memorable one between the two i have so far. i spent around 9 months from first booting up the game to finally making it through kanako's last spell without spending a single continue... lots of memories attatched to this theme. well done! you really, really, outdid yourself with this one. when 3:03 hit my eyebrows climbed all the way to the top of my forehead and stayed there for the rest of the video along with a slowly growing smile. this cover shot its way up to quite possibly my favorite touhou arrangement from you. such a perfect blend of tension and emotion... and that hint of faith is for the transient people at the end... keep it up!
me: gets to kanakos final spell on lunatic with 4 lives also me: only just wins, with 0.20 power and no lives- what a pain that last spell is, so intense and easy to mess up Kanakos theme is the best in MoF though, such a good final boss theme
Macro-dodging mixed in with micro-dodging makes for a really tough attack. It's honestly one of my all-time favorite spellcards. It's hard, but not "insanely hard" or "stupid hard" like some of the stuff from LoLK or Okina's Spring Final IMHO
I used to listen to this one a lot on repeat. Great interpretation as usual and great display of accuracy and skill! It's always exciting to see you play one of my favorites c:
I've heard several remixes and arranges across different genre of this song. Most of them can get boring, tbh. This, however, is the first time I've clearly heard the different aspects of the song and it really shines. I'll have to go see if I can find other good versions of this track.
All these video titles remind me of a Zen koan. Edited for relevancy. Before he became a great Zen master, he spent many years in pursuit of enlightenment, but it eluded him. Then, one day, as he was walking in the marketplace, he overheard a conversation between a musician and his customer. 'Give me the best piece of Touhou music you have,' said the customer. And the musician replied, 'Every piece of Touhou music I have is the best. There is no piece of Touhou music here that is not the best.' Upon hearing this, Banzan became enlightened. Keep up the great work 👍
This theme remind player about the game over leitmotif, which is kind of badass, is like saying "you're going to get a game over" in a playful tone. from my interpretation, since modern japan is basically the grave of many gods, and by "grave" it doesn't mean god can actually died from losing faith, is that they became so much weaker, myths are no longer valued by people, and by losing the divinity of a god, their existence might as well just a youkai, so it's the "game over" of gods as well.
I was waiting for this. This is in my top 5 themes at least together with Septette, Night of Nights, Necrofantasia and Lunatic Princess. (Yeah I like older games more)
you are so good at conveying the feelings that zun intended to convey judging by how perfectly your arrangements suit locations and characters, revealing them without words
@@ViddyWellSA11 Also, just saying, as someone that plays the piano for quite a long time now and who is trying to play some Touhou OSTs, your arrangements are very nice! To be honest, the Touhou OST is already generally pretty hard to play (I really struggle with the key changes haha), and with how you handle it so well and the other little details like the Satori maiden~3rd eye at the end of Heartfelt Fancy cover really make your arrangements stand out and be a big motivation for me to keep playing, keep up the great work!
try The Capital City of Flowers in the Sky? its 1 of my fav :) if you dont like it maybe tabula rasa The Empty Girl. or sariel theme , Now, Until the Moment You Die
I've been playing piano for more than 13 years now, and I've always arranged pieces by ear, so it's all within the same time frame :) If you're referring to the channel, I've been arranging stuff for more than 2 years. Touhou in particular for 1 year.
I did, and I liked it :) However, It's just kinda weird to introduce non-Touhou stuff on the channel when now I'm mainly known for playing Touhou stuff on the channel lol Possibly in the future :)
I do find it a nightmare, but it's not the worse one in her repertoire if I'm honest, at least on normal it was actually pretty easy. When I did the run on normal it took me several tries to get past her other spellcards, but got past that last one with ease in one go
@@Joe4evr with her last spell on easy mode she fires the same number of bullets at the same speed but moving slower. The result is a dense blanket. Even with normal bombs it would be extremely hard
God damn bro you are seriously talented. I think you make the best 2hu piano arrangements. This is prob my favorite in all of MoF but it took me like 100 tries to beat Kanako, but at least i got to listen to her theme more tho i guess lol.
She is not an easy boss, her theme seems pretty complex too. I wonder if playing piano can be compared with playing danmaku... Remembering hard patterns and nailing them...
0:12 I remember learning this theme on the piano and struggling on this part because the rhythm on the left hand is so odd to play ! Great cover here, keep up with the good stuff !
Good as always! I just started learning piano at the local music school, I think ur videos motivated me to do it This week will be My second lesson XD Any ways take care dude, hace a nice day!
I don't make music sheets because I learn everything by ear and I don't really know how to read them/work with them :) So yeah, I share MIDI and Audio files on Patreon
