Empire Strikes Back doesn't hold a candle to Escape 2 Africa. Not one. Worst comparison ever. More like Escape 2 Africa is the Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa of the Madagascar trilogy. Much better comparison.

It always confused me as a child to hear Ben Stiller talking about The Crate Escape in trailers for the movie. Obviously now, as I've grown and am deep within the MCU rabbit hole, I can appreciate the brilliance of both the original and finalised titles.

This isn't sarcasm. This is a guy who likes a silly movie a little more than he's comfortable with. He has both a genuine and ironic appreciation for it at the same time. You can do that, you know.

Where's the "Penguins of Madagascar" spin-off movie mentioned, it's a beloved movie for all the MCU fans. Obviously I hate everything will do a full 20minutes video just on it.
I love the penguins movie. It is truly the best gritty war drama and has the best commentary on capitalism you could find In a movie. The message of that movie is timeless.
I am also sad they didn't base it off the show though. Like when in the show the penguins look across a sea of graves and all they can do is sit and quietly mourn there fallen brothers. 10/ten show and movie.
How can you even pretend to enjoy the MCU without bringing up the key and necessary Penguins of Madagascar movie? You can't even pretend to be a true fan unless you've seen it. What an obvious hack.

It really does show how terrible award shows are when Marriage Story gets nominated for multiple oscars while the masterful “Afro Circus” didn’t nail Madagascar 3 best score.
