I appreciate those who watch my baseball videos . Been fun changing things up a bit and getting back into the game . I know it’s a distinctive subject and not for everyone but I’m enjoying putting these together . A big part of it also is the fact that it’s not over saturated yet like theme park vloggers and travel / filming location stuff . Plenty more to come as post season approaches but fret not I’ll mix up stuff as always . Thanks for watching
Adam, I just want to thank you for these videos. With everything going on in the world, it's great to have a break and seeing someone having a fun time hanging out with friends and going to a good old fashioned ball game. While I enjoy the Tampa games more than the Angels games (my team is the Mariners after all), it's just nice to have a relaxing video to escape into after a hectic day (or at the start of one, like today). One day I'll be back to Seattle to take in some M's games (they're on the other coast from me right now and travel's not happening due to work), but until then, living vicariously through you. THANK YOU SO MUCH and safe travels!
Dude you are an original indeed on the fact that you started with abandoned properties to WDW videos to road travel attractions to baseball ⚾️ appropriate T-shirts 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like watching people who are enthusiastic about what they love. It is very clear you love baseball. And yes splurging occasionally on the best seats is nice.
I grew up with a Father and Brother that were really into sports. My Dad coached and my Brother played all the sports baseball, basketball, football and ran track. I grew up at games. This really brings me back and I love it. You should travel and do all the Major League Parks! Thank you for reviving some great memories for me! Great Job!
I’ve been to 2 baseball games my entire life, not a huge fan BUT I watched ALL the videos and enjoyed it nonetheless 😎 the mascots are awesome and love the atmosphere Adam shows, he makes anything worth watching.
I've watched more baseball, more frequently in your videos than I have my entire life!!! You make the games so enjoyable to watch!! I've sat behind home plate a couple of times in the Old Yankee Stadium, on the middle level if I remember right, in 1978 and 1980 or so.
YES!!!! MORE BASEBALL!!!!! I love these vlogs so much! I would, sometime, like to see you do a series on stadium food....just the food....who has the best what and where. Would be interesting.
good vid props for filming the game more then you did when you started this i always film wwe/aew events even if they say not to need to get that cat to sign a ball the mets have been doing good this year and they will keep destroying all the other teams
Great video. This is just sad though, such a big series against the Red Sox and that’s the crowd attendance?? I actually watched this game on ESPN+ and thought to myself; I wonder if Adam the woo is there.
Hey TheDailyWoo, you stated in one of your last videos that you are a fan of Brett Phillips. You should see what Brett Phillips did to honor his best friend, Nate Richardson, from Seminole, FL. He now wears his retired number, #35, on the back of his jersey.
The city of TB really needs to get it together and get the Rays a new stadium or they’re going to eventually lose the team to Montreal in some shape or form whether it’s a splitting home games between the two locations(which is odd)or lose the team all together.
I can not believe how poorly attended these games are. Minor league teams do much better than the Rays. They are losing money like crazy. They will move.
As a Yankee fan it is nice to see Tampa to finally have a good team. Only took them 23 years to finally do it but win a Championship first then brag. Lol
Not happy with the final score, as a Red Sox fan. I'm glad, however, you guys had the place almost to yourselves. You should certainly indulge in what you enjoy, Adam. 👏🤠⚾️
Adam the spray there putting on there bats is pine tar Makes them grip the bat better and they don’t stand in the batting circle So they can a better look at the pitcher
more than a couple decades ago, i would attend baseball games (jays' games) and there was more than one occasion when i sat behind the home plate, but had to move due to the crowd being so quiet and not into MY LOUDNESS (this was before dave winfield told the toronto fans to get LOUD (world series yr run). i possess a LOUD voice that when it can shall leave echo after echo and IF i am inside a indoor dome, there be no open sky for my LOUDNESS to take off (bob and doug Mackenzie brothers shout out) into. not all fans can handle such NOISE (the dude with the toys that bangs away is not even close to the degree of (WE got) TONE i used to Verbally assault all ears onsite with. so LOUD that the video game tape(s) would show a vibration on the tape (the tape's footage would shake even though the camera was tripod still) bench seats were where i was more found, for there were foul balls a plenty to grapple upon another great series of Good ball helps to have the number one team as the Talent n the video. LOL stay safe (at home plate).
$135 for behind home plate is cheap. As a Yankee fan myself going to a game isn't cheap unless you are in the upper deck. I want to say behind home plate seats at Yankee stadium is well over $1,000.
@@VinylWarrior24 You realize Rays have one of the largest TV markets in baseball and that revenue from TV ads by farrrrrr exceeds profit from ticket sales, right? Buying tickets is not the only way to support a team. Does it help? Sure, but is it everything? Absolutely not. I (and many others) would love to go to more games, but I'm not driving an hour each way on a weeknight after work to do so.
@@OCPDesigns largest market..lol! That is a stretch! If they can't get anybody to show up for the games....they need to move to a city that will.Same goes for the Marlins. Charlotte and Nashville would pack the stadium. Minor league teams get more people to their games.
@@VinylWarrior24 Did you not listen to anything I just said? TV revenue is way more important for a teams financial success than tickets are. Using Statista’s 2019 (earliest year not affected by Covid) data, TV generates at minimum 2x and at maximum 6x the revenue tickets do. Tampa is ranked 13th in TV market size out of the all the major 4 sports markets. Charlotte and Nashville rank at 22 and 29. Even this very game featured in the video was the most watched sports program of Aug 31. If the Rays had a competent owner that didn't treat his ownership of the team like a neglected step child, and moved the stadium to a metro area that is accessible to most (ie, in Tampa), then seats would also be sold out, just like the Lightning and Buccaneers.
Man I don't know what the deal is w/Tampa Bay fans. They've got a great team and a great stadium as far as I can tell. What the hell, people. Get out to a game and show some support! You and Jay and the Cowbell Kid are doing your part but Floridians need to get out and go to a baseball game.
I comment you for supporting you local baseball team.....It is just sad they have one of the best teams in the league and people can't come out and support them. Florida doesn't support either major league team they have.I look for a move to other cities that will support these teams.
Hi Adam…not related to this video, but my wife and I stopped at a buc-ee’s during a road trip because we learned about it from a past video of yours (there are no locations where we live in the Midwest). It was a great experience and a nice place to take a driving break, so thank you!
The lack of attendance given the Ray's position this year is upsetting. These videos are making me want to watch baseball, but I'm dieting and quit drinking - all I'd want to do is drink beer and eat the whole time!!!
I love your baseball vlogs. Baseball is my favorite sport. I look forward to your baseball videos. I enjoy your enthusiasm for America's national sport. And apparently, so does Tampa Jay.
Until you started these baseball vlogs I had no idea how long a game lasted and that you could walk round and change seats etc .. I’m learning a lot. I like the camaraderie between spectators and DJ Kitty is hilarious ( I should say I’m a Brit and we don’t really have baseball here)
They really need to move this club across the bay and into Tampa... As a Tampa native I can tell you, That alone would pack the house for every game. St Pete is kinda hood🤣
I agree 100% with you! Getting out to that outpost of St Pete just takes so much time also. I'm praying they build that beautiful new Rays ballpark in Ybor!!
WORLD SERIES????? Lmfao. Good luck getting past DODGERS!!!!! I’ll bet you 10k…. Tampa Bay. Where they cannot afford to pay to keep their star players ! Lmfao
Yes! Two days in a row. I was hoping you'd make another game before you leave. I like the DJ Kitty foam paw - Rays have power of the paw (and some would say cow bell, ugh) and Angels have Monkey Rally. By the way when you picked up the cow bell and considered buying it, I was like - NOoooo!
