That almond Jai gives me the most definition and hydration! I use Kinky curly knot today, then argan oil, then the CRN, and baby! moisture and definition for 2 weeks! That combo can do no wrong on thick, dense hair!
Camille Rose Almond Jai Twist Butter is LIFE! 🙌🏾 Definitely holy grail product for me! Also, I don’t think it has coconut oil in it, because my hair hates coconut oil and I remember triple checking the ingredients before buying. But if you are looking for a great product, give it a go!
Minimal Assembly Yes she does, I was just trying to remember her name so I can comment how she looks just like her and then I saw this comment. I think they look a lot alike.
I️ use the Camille Rose twisting butter for my twist outs. I️ used it once and never turned back. I️ love that product. I️ also use the TGIN honey mask for a deep conditioner and I️ love that too! 👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️ you’re beautiful girl! I️ love your signature fro!
Girl! Girl!!!!! I have been waitint! to see someone do a face off with these products. I own the Camille Rose naturals (Target sales rack ftw) and I keep eyeing the Blueberry Bliss. It smells so good! But the Almond Jai never lets me down for braidouts or even wash n go's.....i'll stick with my Camille Rose. Thank you for this!
They were somewhat similar, however not entirely. The CURLS Twist-n-Shout Cream gave your hair a bit more volume than the other side. As for Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter, it gave your hair more definition and hold bc of it's stillness.
I have passed by the Camille Rose Almond Jai for years and I finally picked it up the other day for 20% off at target and I am sooooo mad that I never picked it up!!! Lol!!! Love at first twist lol!!! I have the blueberry cream and my hair hates it! Just like you said it’s lightweight and my thick dense hair needs a heavy cream to whip it into shape lol! The blueberry bliss just sits on top of my hair and makes it feel straw like! Still trying to figure out an alternative way to use it or I might just give it away. I may use it with the L.O.C method like you suggested but my hair hates it! Lightweight stylers are not for me... meh... lol! Great video!!!
😂😂😂 I need to try CRN! I’m so tired of Shea Moisture and most of the products are so watery and not enough slip to them. It just sits on my hair and does nothing!
Love love love Camille rose almond Jai, I have found the exact same thing with that curls twisting cream its just not moisturising enough but i find that with their products in general. in my opinion they suit looser curls/coils more than my type 4 hair. The only butter i have found that can compete with CR Almond jai is TGIN Butter Cream that stuff is amazing also.
I'm not a fan of either because the TGIN line is my jam for real. I never get a fail because I use my hooded dryer faithfully. Still looked good though.
i love the camille rose naturals twisting butter, i got so much definition from using that without a gel. i usually use gels with my wash and go’s for the hold but i got hold and definition from the twisting butter a lone. i wanted to try the twist and shout cream but i doubt imma try it now.
Old School Word Funky!!!! Your Natural Hair! and Your Complexion is Like Honey Butter. Your Hair is insanely Full and Lush without the Products! 💝But Products does give our Hair added Definition The rod set is a plus as Well for that Curly effect Very Helpful Tutorial 😚☺
I can't stand Shea Moisture curling smoothie either. It sits on my hair too and provides absolutely no definition. I LOVE the Camille Rose twisting butter though, I use it for my braid outs all the time.
lala foster sister I think we have the same type of hair! 🤣 that happens to me with the smoothie product! It was greasy and heavy I hated how it felt on my hands (random I know lol) but seriously my hands were a greasy mess! Yuck !
lala foster None of the Shea Moisture styling products works for me. None! Camille Rose Almond Jai twisting butter is indeed greasy after two application, yet it does maintain elongation AND definition like no one else. So I replace it by the Camille Rose Butter Gel on wash day, and only apply the AJ the day after. Then depending on weather conditions I can just rebraid with Rose water or the curl love milk.
I prefer the Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai better. I will be purchasing because my hair totally same texture as yours, and this is what I've been looking for. Thank you KIA!!! New Subscriber!!!!! Actually she resembles the younger Lisa Bonet from the BCS (not saying his name).
First time reviewing a video of yours but l really enjoyed the product comparison and hope you will be doing more comparison not persay products but maybe techniques , styling, regimens etc, etc.. peace and blessings
Can you do both but the whole line like wash, condition, moisturize and styled. It’s hard to find anyone who does the whole line everyone just does a product.
I've only used blue berry bliss twist cream. Camile's products are always a bit expensive but thank you for this video I've always wanted to try Camile's. Thank you for this video!
Camille rose is holy Grail I used it today for my first time on my bleached damaged hair and it kept it moistured all day and soft, I'm in love with the scent it smells like vanilla bean omg this product is magic
I used both of those products as well. I prefer the Camille Rose but honestly I think the True Hydrating Hair Butter is the best and it's a lot cheaper. I love all your videos too!
None of the Blueberry Bliss products work for me, even the pomade. They make my hair soooo dry. Camille Rose is bae though. You should try the Algae Renew deep conditioner and the Aloe Whipped gel if you haven't. Our hair is almost identical and i think you'd love them.
TheNotoriousKIA I use both. But you must keep in my that one is a cream, the other a butter. It really all depends on the style and looked you're going for. Feelin that fro tho!
I’m not a fan of curls products. I tried, what I thought was, gel in a bottle and that stuff was terrible. It made suds like soap when I put it in my hair. Curls is inexpensive, but unfortunately for me, my hair likes expensive products better. Camille rose isn’t in the budget right now but I have high hopes that it definitely gets the job done
Thanks for the product battle. i had a feeling Camille Rose would win but i was super curious to see how Curls blueberry bliss would compare. Great video. Did either one give you white flakes because you didn't seal with an oil?
Hey @TheNotoriousKIA i know this don't got nothing to do with the video but I saw you on the train today sitting in the corner. You looked so busy on your phone so I didn't wanna bother you. Anyways love your vids and keep up the good work !
The almond Jai did amazing on my hair i was in shock i could not believe it 😍even my husband when i fluffed was like baby what u put on yo hair 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When trying Curls Products less is more. The reason why it didn't dry in time because you put too much on. (Yes, it does work better on wet, but i have used it on dry hair before it still turns out nice) Plus with your hair not being fully dry, you didn't get the full affects of it.
It's like you read my mind coz I was thinking about repurchasing the Camille Rose butter...tried it before and loved the lasting definition it gave me but hated that it made my hair a little hard. So when you use the Camille Rose, do you use it as the "C" in the LCO/LOC method or is it in addition to whatever other products you typically use?
Hi,my scalp n hair doesn’t like coconut oil. Coconut oil is not listed as an ingredient in Camille Rose Almond Jai I brought this product some months ago as a twisting tool. I make sure I read all ingredients prior to purchasing any products because of certain ingredients my scalp n hair are allergic to. .
