As unboxings go, that was an absolute snorter! Conquest is such a great game and Para Bellum seem a very cool company. Their approach to a lot of things is spot on, typified perfectly by the two rulebooks! Be great to see more content for Conquest, it's a game worth advocating for.

Sprues look good. I am more likely to go for First Blood but the Nord's are the faction that have my interest. I am lucky to have a local shop that stocks Conquest bit my wallet hasn't allowed me to go in yet!!

First Blood is definetly a good entry point. My local club has a lot of Last Argument players so thats what I've dived in with.

I just found out about this game a couple of days ago and it sounds and looks so good I actually ordered this box already. I didn't realize just how much stuff is in that box. I love that they include two copies of the rulebook. That's so awesome!

Definitely a better Unboxing than the standard 'and the cling wrap is thicker than normal'. Very human presentation style, easy to listen too. Personally I would like to see some more from you, maybe with a 5 min time limit for single unit unboxings (I know you can do it) I do realise that involves a good day of prep and editing but I know you love us xxx.

Thanks! I’ve done the odd one here and there and I keep playing with formats to make them interesting but as they’re always less popular than the tabletop behemoth games it’s hard to see if it’s not a very good video idea or just not very popular. Now I just make stuff I’d want to watch.

Good effort, especially considering you don't find unboxings that interesting They can be useful for me if I want to see a particular sprue or kit options, so your close ups are great. This was also my first exposure to Conquest, although I feel like I've seen the giant before somewhere.. maybe it was a Wayland Games preorder image

Thanks. I think I'm just a little bit overwhelmed with the influx we get everytime theres a new GW release. All the folks who get stuff early then just do the same quick unboxings to be "FIRST". If they have a bit of info in them then generally theyre ok. The Giant model isnt a new one so it is possible youve seen that before.

I really do like the look of the City States models. Very tempted to try to find someone to split the box with but I do prefer to buy models that i can use across several rulesets. Does the larger scale of the models make them unusable with other standard 28/32mm scale games? They certainly look out of place in some of the side by side comparisons online but do they _feel_ out of place when fielded on the table top?

Theyre cerainly bigger but it really depends if you're mixxing them with multiple other scales. I like the bigger scale (for my old eyes to paint!) but then I'm not looking to mix them for other games.

Goobertown has a video about mini factory in Poland. Probably it is the same one. It amazes me that they stated it takes them one week of single CNC machine work to make a single mold.

What’s the difference between last argument and first blood?

First Blood is a skirmish game where the models are all individual models whereas Last Argument is a mass battle rank and flank style wargame. Rules and stats for both games are free and you can use the same models in each game.

The best thing is over the last three years. Every time my group has found something that doesn’t work well or isn’t fun. We have sent an email and been part of the testing that changed it. The game has improved so much so fast.

Definitely wouldn't recommend EH gaming, they only carry a very limited range for Conquest most of which is out of stock. Best bet in the UK is On Table Top, 20% discount on RRP, free post over £40 purchases and they carry the full line.

I really like conquest. I think Para is making big enough waves to really get traction. I think however, this box is incredibly deceptive. The game is unbelievably expensive and the scale is just odd. I had 4 armies and I sold them off as nobody wanted to spend the super high cost on buying up and army

I like the bigger scale, the game is thriving here locally (which is how I got tempted into it) and I’m going in with my eyes open on the cost. It’s not the cheapest game but then which games are these days?
