Lately I’ve been appreciating more third person shooters. Wish we had more of those. Yo can see how cool you look and gameplay tends to lean towards tactical.
Console never gets many of them. Should hopefully be getting a new Ghost Recon in 2025 or 26. The Division 2 is still getting the Heartland expansion as far as I know. And still waiting for word on the Splinter Cell remake that was announced a few years ago. But tactical milsims in general just never seem to make it over to console. As much as people hate Ubisoft, they are kind of hard carrying the genre on console in many ways.
@@mandrews6282Isn’t ready or not confirmed for console? If thats the case then that, insurgency sandstorm and arma reforger will be the closest things to tactical shooters we’ll have
@@harvey379 yah they’re saying 2024 so hopefully soon. There’s been a boom of tactical shooters on PC in recent years and I’d love to see more make it to console. Ready or Not is good one and hopefully people buy it. If these don’t sell well we won’t see as many ports.
Dude, you cannot say your game is inspired by FEAR unless it has the same fast paced combat that the first game has. Unless you’re trying to bring out the horror aspect more.
Not a single one is 3rd person. Really what happened to games like Splinter Cell, GRAW, Socom... everyone jumped on the COD wagon now look everything feels and plays the same old bs all of them
I love all those 3rd person games you mentioned and they don't exist anymore they need to bring them back the only one still around is ghost recon it's sad
Okay I agree I would love to see those games return but this list is about a category that largely revolves around first person aspects is that makes sense
Also I'd like to add that so many of these games while they look somewhat similar to cod they are all so different like look at escape from tarkov for an example
ghost recon is new and is 3rd person, zero hour is just like ready or not but with pvp and has a 3rd person mode, i just think the 3rd person genre is not for shooters, the majority prefer 1st because is easier to take angles and cqb
