There are so many options now - I even see a dark version of the OEM. I don't see tesla making their own as it would cannibalize their own sales of customers not ordering the $1500-$4000 wheels

Thanks for the response. I sent this feedback to yeslak. They said "there were two very minor traces on two wheel cover, and we can send him the replacements, and we replied him as soon as we seen his message, but he just keep asking and being unpatient, we were trying our best solve his issue, and sent the return label to him accept for his wheel cover return already. Anyway, we already sent the return label to him and we will be responsible the quality and our customer service."

Yeah and the increased tire price of larger rims!

@@bk.4148 I've actually forgotten before and don't think its really needed (this is also because I had some curb rash and never plan on driving the car without these covers)

These are easy and come w foam strip you need to attach so doesn't impact rims underneath.

credit to rimetrix for being one of the, if not the first to market with aftermarket covers. that said, im not a fan of the look of most of their covers. The medusa looks to be closest to something id use. They look like good quality, though have not used them before. Yeah I've noticed sellers on amazon who no doubt all get wheel covers from the same factory/factories listed on amazon. Some I like are not there.

Rimetrix doesn’t have metallic clips as these I heard that don’t scratch the rims.. did you notice any scratches with your covers?

do you mean the dark part of the oem Y covers? these new ones are darker

I'm confused the current covers come off with pausing your hands to pull. then t emblem should ship separate and goes on with double sided glue (already built in). this is my 4th set across 2 different vendors and both worked this way

@@RobertSchmitt 1st, there isn't a single instruction in the box - just 4 wheel covers and nothing else. 2nd I've contacted the company, and they do not reply There are no gloves or double-sided tape in the box no emblems - nothing but 4 covers that are badly scratched up from rubbing against each other in shipment - no bubble wrap. The geniuses running this company could at least put a QR code on a small slip of paper if they don't speak English and vector me off to RU-vid.

sounds like a bad experience. i believe they, and many other wheel cover's are distributors from the same place. I have see these from multiple sites including amazon. all the same. I wonder why you had a hard time taking it off.

@@RobertSchmitt Very simple - the product is poorly designed, not tested and lacks quality - Therefore it does not fit well. Then on top of that, the company hides behind their poor quality with poor support. Simple! I might also ad that they know about the problems and suggest crazy solutions like hoisting the car and removing covers from the back with pliers. So they know there is a problem but rather than fix it, they just screw customers like me. So do you still wonder why its hard to remove - could it be poor design, perhaps combined with 'influencers' who get a kickback.

Had the exact same thing happen to me I broke 2 clips off removing the wheel covers to rotate my tires and Yeslak told me it was my fault and would not honor their lifetime warranty
