The Best Valentine's Day 

I know Justin was joking but I think floral arrangements and like care package design and gift picking should somehow be a career for you Rachelle. Anyway looks like a super great Valentines Day love you guys together.

You can tell how much happier you are now that Justin is home.

We own an Australian Shepherd and when we brought him home we didn’t know that they’re known to have separation anxiety and crate anxiety. With him we have started feeding him in his kennel so he learned it was a good place to be. Then we started having him sleep in there at night when he knows people are around. Our vet recommended we also fill a kong toy with peanut butter, kibble, apple sauce anything like that. Then you freeze the kong and periodically throughout your day put beau in the crate for short periods of time and make sure you don’t leave him in it every time locked. He shouldn’t think the crate is a bad place to be. In our house this has helped immensely with our Australian Shepherd and now he willingly goes into his crate and doesn’t make a mess When he’s in it.

I got a German Shepherd puppy the exact time you got beau. To crate train we put it in an area where we spend a lot of time and left the door open with toys inside. He would go in and grab a toy to get used to it. Then we would put him in it for short periods of time while we left. We also gave him a treat each time he went in. Now all we have to say is “crate” and he goes right in. We don’t even have to close the door because he stays in it. He also periodically will go in and take a nap. They need to view their crate as a place of safety not a cage.

Lol, I always thank CVS for such a large receipt and tell them, “it saves on toilet paper!” 🤣. That was a LARGE ONE for just a card, lol! Glad you two got to be together on Valentines! Beau sure loves Justin! Take care ❤️

I’m so excited to see y’all’s baby girl! Praying for you daily! I had two miscarriages last year and I am 11 weeks today! On the 13th we saw the baby’s heartbeat and the baby was doing the shimmy! Praise God for both our miracles!❤️🌈

This is why we have always crated our dog Zara when we leave the house, it started off as a potty training tactic but now it's habit. They will not go to the bathroom in their crate so it saves your furniture etc!!

Have you tried potty training bells on your door? My pup is about the same age as Beau and he caught on so quickly and is so good at letting me know when he has to go out now! Glad you two had a nice Valentine’s Day together 🤗

Love your videos! Just a few helpful tips...take them or leave them. Dogs usually have to be trained to “like” their crate. If you just put him in there when your leaving him, he will associate it with that and never like it. Start putting him in there for 10-15 min at a time during the day while your home with a treat or chewy. Frozen sweet potatoes or a kong with peanut butter work great for this. You can also feed him in the crate with the door open, he can come out as soon as he is finished...it just helps him see it in a positive way! Potty training is so much easier if you utilize his crate, they will not potty where they sleep. He should be able to hold it for at least 3-4 hours by now if he goes before you leave him.

You should try putting a puppy pad down in the kitchen. Maybe he will use that if he has to instead of the tile. We use them for our 9 year old Chihuahua and she does great with them.

Hi Guys! Our Coonhound was 5 months old when we rescued him, for 3 months he would not stop peeing in the house. I bought potty bells from Amazon and he was potty trained in 3 days!!! We swear by them. Also, he may hate the crate, but you have to get through the initial period and he will eventually get over being in there. Try giving him a kong with peanut butter and put it in there before you leave. It might help! Also, rule of thumb for dogs is they can only be expected to hold their bladders equal to their age in months, 5 months = 5 hours :)

Mine and my fiance's favorite place to go on a date is Ballast point: Little Italy!!! I love their Black Marlin Porter (Mocha or Original, both are amazing) I also love the Salted Caramel Victory at Sea Edition and recently they came out with Aloha Sculpin IPA and my goodness it is amazing!!! Favorite foods there have to be the Ballast Point Burger and truffle fries!!! I believe Justin will love this beer that tastes EXACTLY like coffee, Its from Coronado Brewing here in San Diego, and its called Blue Bridge Coffee Stout! So creamy and delicious! :)

We just got our cute puppy Lola four months ago since locking her in the kitchen on tile she has been really great and we can leave her up to 8 hours at a time while both my hubby and I are at work, they just have to grow into holding it for longer periods of time! :D

My father in law loves cigars. His humidor is amazing.. he says the best cigar are the short ones and not prepackaged because they dry out way to soon. If you want a good light cigar look for the ones that are light tobacco leaves and smells fresh. A nice deep rich cigar you would again look for another short fat cigar with brown to dark brown tabacco leaves that smells sweet and like cognac. Sorry its long.. he was repeating it to me.. lol looks like l he will love your present..

He will get used to the crate. Crate training will help teach him to hold his bladder/bowels. Eventually after he is crate trained and older, you may not need to crate him.

Little Green Machine if your needing a good spot cleaning machine. We have two cats and one throws up quite a bit and our stairs and upstairs is carpet. It's a life saver. Oh and plus if our kids throw up it's also a life saver if they don't make it in time to a bowl or toilet when they are sick!

Hey Rachelle & Justin, First & foremost THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE JUSTIN!! I wanted to tell u guys what we did with our puppy who would pee/have accidents in the house when home & away. So what we did was we only gave Leyla (our puppy) water when she ate & after coming in from playing outside but we would only leave the water bowl down for 10min UNTIL she was potty trained. Now she has water available 24/7 cuz we also taught her the bell system where she alerts us when she needs to go out. And also let him out to potty before you leave, try to not come in til he goes cause then that will also ensure his bladder is empty. I hope this works for you guys so that you don't have to keep dealing with the "smell" & just get to enjoy your pregnancy!! Sending love from Florida

He may hate his crate, but probably wouldn't potty in it especially if leaving him for longer periods. Took my girl a long time to get used to it, but now, she'll put herself in there even if we don't lock it when we leave or go to bed (she's 3). Especially with baby on the way, being consistent with him will pay off in the long run. Love you guys ☺❤

Do whatever works with Beau. We rescued a boxer mix who had been kept in her crate 99% of the time. When we rescued her, she had no idea what to do when wed put her in there. Eventually she grew to view her crate as a safe space. Maybe keep some of his toys in there. Itll get better, i promise!

My dog hated the crate at first but she would pee everywhere.. so we gave her a treat every time she had to go in there. Now when we get ready to leave she runs and lays in her crate until we shut the door. Her special treat is a couple of carrots btw

The baby will probably be puking, pooping and peeing on the rug so I wonder if you could just get a water carpet cleaning vacuum. Although you need one with good suction. I had a cheaper one and the suction wasn't very good so it was damp after. Washable rugs are another solution....get 2-4 identical ones and push them together.

I hope this doesn’t come off sounding harsh- just hoping I can help since I was in the same position not so long ago with my dog! When I first got my puppy I had a trainer come to the house a few times to help with potty training and basic obedience and she told me dogs should pick up potty training if you do it properly fairly quickly and easily- she had said by around 4 months. She told me to make sure I took her out immediately after being left in her cage, a nap, and writhing 15 minutes of eating and drinking, and strongly recommended crating the dog when we aren’t home. Dogs start to think of their crate as their home and a safe place and will usually not go to the bathroom in it, because it’s their “home. My puppy did not like the crate at first either, but I was persistent and now it’s her favorite place. She will never go to the br in it, no matter how long we leave her. She is a tiny chihuahua and we can leave her for 6 hours and she won’t go in it. I’m not a dog trainer but thought the tips I got from mine could hopefully help you! If you’re dog can’t be trusted not to go to the bathroom when left out, he should be in a cage. Good luck!

I can totally relate to the carpet thing :D Whenever my dog vomits, he ALWAYS does it on the carpet xD Its not that often, but I I adopted him 8years ago so I now that whenever he is sick, the carpet it is xD
