Gabe i have built my new golf bag completely on your videos and words on clubs i went to maltby and ordered a set of sti2 cause im left handed then got that tour edge exotics c722 that came in 2nd in your best driver video that carbon crown gets me everytime went back and bought the forged maltby wedges cause i loved how well these irons play you been a true blessing to people who wanna built a great set for under 1000 dollars with great distance, forgiveness, looks and playability thank you sir
I just actually ordered the TS3 myself I was wondering have you tried any of the multi drivers I was looking at their newest version it comes with a hazardous smoke in it @@LetsPlayThru
The STI2'a are a really great "budget friendly" club. At around $220 for a set custom built, there's probably not a better deal for a new, quality set of irons. The anticipation is that with all of the great recent exposure (thanks to Gabe), and influx in business, they'll soon consider releasing a forged LH model. The TS3's would be my vote for the LH community. 🤞🏼
Thanks for the quick review. I've seen your other online reviews of the Maltby irons and I'm at the TS1 IM, TS4 and TS3. All seem fairly close in performance.
I bought these TS3 Irons on 6/6/2024 I'm waiting on these Beautiful Irons to arrive . I can't wait I'm chomping at the Bit .. to get out on the course with them .
@@LetsPlayThru Yeah Gabe I can't wait to get the Set . I also bought the Tour Edge C524 Hot 🔥 Launch Driver & the 3 wood on 6/6/ 2024. They were shipped last week & I've been to the range 4 times with them. along with my Garmin G80 .. Man I love both of those Hot Launch Clubs they are everything you said they are n more in your review of them Gabe. Thats why I cant wait for the Maltby TS3 Irons to arrive you gave them a great score . I had my eye on the Maltby TS1 IM but since the TS3 review & 98 Score I couldn't go wrong with purchasing them .👍💯
I used to build all my clubs and Malby in Newark, OH was my choice. Golfsmith my other vendor had eventually gone out of business. Malby is quality. Dicks Sporting goods eventually bought Malby. No relation to commentator Roger Malby BTW!
Same template as Takomo 101, Ram FX77 & Caley 01 and most likely significantly worse quality. Best to just save another $100 and get one of the others.
NGL I've been wondering about this compared to the takomo irons. But luckily since then i got super lucky and had a old friend from my time playing at clemson give me some Taylormade p790. I see the hype about TM now. But also growing up around machining my whole life it's hard seeing the price on clubs knowing their true costs.
Possibly more than you think. Anyone 10 hdcp or lower should have the ability to shape a shot in their repertoire. Not going to be every shot but on occasion it's good to have available.
@@LetsPlayThru as soon as I keep my gear acquisition syndrome in check and realize I'm a 15 handicap golfer that probably doesn't need new clubs... I appreciate all these review videos but I also realize I'm probably not candidate for a new set of clubs yet.
@@bsmith4u2 I have to agree with @vic0445. You are correct that the IM's, TS3, and TS4 are very close in comparison BUT having owned all 3, the TS3's take top spot for performance and forgiveness. I'd say they're all equally attractive looking for their individual categories. The TS3 actually is a little more squat from heel to toe than the other 2 so that compensates for the slightly thicker top line IMO. Going to the TS3 straight from the TS4, I had no problems whatsoever with the visuals. You can't go wrong with any of these 3, but the TS3 is the best of all worlds and varying player levels.
