This has come at the most appropiate time. I was gifted unshelled pecan nuts and spent an afternoon shelling them, got out just under 1kg, (980g) nuts, so have fresh pecan nuts, was going to make pecan pie, but me thinks this is a better option to make. When i saw the IG post I just knew I had to make it. I love cinnamon rolls... And the idea of just puting pecans in ... Heaven in my mouth before even tasting !
Tried these yesterday, and they are fantastic. So flavorful, so perfect. I did end up baking mine longer than the 15 min stated in the video--more like 35 minutes for mine. Thanks for the recipe Dane and Jemma! 😃

I'm trying to make the praline paste to make these and my brown sugar will not melt!!! I have had it on the stove for over an hour and it looks a bit like honeycomb candied before adding the baking soda 😢 I don't know what's going on
I once made praline (the nut paste) and it really wore down my machine as it isn't the best quality one. So I'm going to skip this part and it will still be delicious! Not as delicious but still delicious, especially with the candied pecans included
When I was baking at a bakery, we would use three fingers, not the pinky, as a guide for cutting the buns without having to pull out a ruler. And I can’t wait to make these! I just made these. I put about 1 tsp fresh orange zest in with the cinnamon filling. They were fabulous! Ostensibly they were for my niece’s birthday. She got one. 😋

Tried three different times to melt brown sugar and not able to do so. It is premium Domino Light Brown cane sugar. The sugar just gets crisp. How or what can I do to get it to melt? Love your videos!
Just made these - have to say I’m not a fan. They just seem wayyyyy too sweet, even without the icing. If you’re concerned about sweetness maybe cut the amount of cinnamon butter in half - or maybe you could omit it altogether and just have pecan praline? I cooked mine for 30 rather than 15 minutes as they didn’t look done (very pale) after 15. Have made loadsss of cupcake Jemma recipes and this is the first one I didn’t like - think I’ll stick to classic cinnamon rolls or the hot cross bun rolls that cupcake Jemma posted before Easter.
