Fords don’t hold their value that well

Hi James, thanks for noticing this. Vauxhall identified petrols as the biggest seller in this sector, and have spent considerable time, effort and money on getting this engine up to scratch. It’s paid off with a balancer shaft that ensures it keeps out most vibration, hum and noise, as well as that familiar grating harshness. It's a fairly quite ride for a car from this sector.

OSV I used to drive a corsa, and it was near silent I could barely hear the engine

Hi Tom, thanks for the comment. The VXR variant is quite a dive if you were looking for more performance from a Corsa.

Corsa sri vx line 1.4 turbo. 100bhp Is very good on fuel with the 6speed manual gearbox and you get the perforance as well plus you get the sporty looks with the 3door version. And cheap to insurance. Defo the one to buy without having to splash alot of cash out

Those cars are very reliable

I own this car 2018 version And I haven’t had any problems at all and I’ve had it for a year and a half now very reliable and easy to drive decent space at the front and the back I have 6ft friends and they’ve said it’s ok don’t judge a book by it’s cover

As has long been a British tradition, the comments here seem to consist of knocking anything because it's British! People should think such biased, slanted views don't do anything for famous brand's reputations - and can cost sales, and therefore JOBS in our country! The attitude in the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) is directly OPPOSITE. They BIG their products UP, to the point of bragging!

@@nygelmiller5293 Vauxhall has been 100% Opel since the late 70's early 80's every components is German designed and engineered. The only thing the Bittish do to them is assembly and stick a Vauxhall badge on them. GM hated the idea of having the exact same cars produced in different countries and sold in separate dealerships in the UK (Vauxhall/Opel), they tried to stop it back in the early 80's but as the UK car industry was a huge mess that ended up killing itself by striking and demanding all sorts of benefits out of ailing companies... The madness resulted in the near demise of the British auto industry. Well, to be fair the cars weren't very good quality nor design either 😂 But i have to admit that i liked the Rover 75 when it came out under the BMW management, but i had huge dubts about the quality... Personally I've been sticking with Japanese and lately with the Korean brands, total peace of mind and cheap motoring.
