The best views of the hike? - The Via degli Dei (Path of the Gods) Day 2 - Badolo to Ca' del Cucco 

The Via Degli Dei ("Path of the Gods") is one of the best known hiking routes in Italy. Starting in the gorgeous city of Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna and ending in renaissance Florence, capital city of Tuscany, the path winds its way through 130kms of glorious Italian mountain scenery.
A short day, with a late start... 12.5 kms to hike, but the day begins with the ascent of Monte Adone with what must surely be the most stunning views on the whole walk over the valley of the River Setta. Some confusion arose over the route, but was quickly resolved and a relaxing evening was had in a lovely B&B. Another perfect day of hiking in Italy.
