This is one of the reasons why I can think Rin and Shirou have a good relationship and seems natural. Since Rin wanted the best for freaking Shirou helping him to prevent from becoming his other self , Archer Emiya. What makes Rin the best candidate from the others is in all three routes she supports Shirou all the way knowing full well she is not going to win his heart in the end.
