This map is basically what I was doing in aimlabs but it’s in CS2. Whilst I am still dog water at CS2, due to this map I am slowly becoming regular water. thank Mr wiburt
no.1 size 10, amount 3. goes to about 300. starts slow/smooth then builds up. (a general warmup) no.2 size 1, amount 1, area 5x5, back up to the ledge. goes to about 50-100 (precision training) no.3 level 2, area 90*, size 5, amount 5, horizontal, speed 30. (tracking) no.4 level 1, arena all, cross mode, shoot middle=on, size 4, orientation horizontal. (flicking) no.4.5 changes horizontal to random no.5 level 2, size 10-8, amount 8/9, horizontal speed 20, area 180*, health 4 (burst/spray tracking). you can always challenge yourself by making them smaller/faster edit: i wrote this whole comment 3 times because twice i forgot to click comment and just closed the tab like a moron.
ive never seen anyone talking about this but: i think tracking is criminally underrated thing even in cs because it teaches you something i would describe as "target chasing" in a real situation it would be like flicking to someone and doing micro adjusting WHILE THEY ARE MOVING, they arent standing still and your brain will have to constantly semd messages to your hands to "chase" the target
I remember Elige mentioning it in one of his early youtube videos about how he warms up from like 2022. He showed off Spheretrack in Aim Labs and talked briefly on it.
I was training in kovaaks and i still think that the aim trainer has scenarios that are more specific to my needs. But i will incorporate this in my aim training routine since training inside the engine is always better. Thanks Wilson
aim_treeni is amazing. i love how minimalistic it is and that the menu is simple and clear PS. thanks for the subtitles lol, helps those of us who can't process spoken words unless they see them written down
Agreed, nothing beats aim training for CS2 IN CS2, and you not only suggested this map but also the aim routine that we can follow. This is why you're the best. Thank you. You gorgeous human.
Your videos are so good man... the things you show/talk about and the way you talk about these things really makes a big difference. I love your mentality towards being a CS player.
I've been practicing on this map and experimenting with routines because it reminded me of yprac in cs:go, thanks to being a member i discovered this map because wilson showed it (not a paid sponsorship XD) Though this map got me from lvl 6 to 8 on faceit in 3 weeks, it feels very inconsistant especially smaller targets or sprays (putting more health in), so if you prefer aimlabs (or other) it might be better for some people.
Hardstuck FACEIT lvl8 here. Jumped in this map and realized my aim is actually garbage. Will try to do this daily maybe this can finally make me go up haha
As a old cs player and rn, kovaaks player. You can definitely progress from aimtrainers in cs, all depends if you are aim training right. If you don’t know what you are doing, I think it’s better to play maps like that in cs. But if you would like to learn new stuff about aimlab and kovaaks you will see huge improvement from this also:D. Nice video btw!🤝
6:01 if you really want to practice spray, throw away the first 3-4 bullets and pull down without stop shooting (I hope it's not confusing). Once you don't depend on your first 5 bullets while spraying, you'll get the feel more for the rest spray
THEY NEED TO PLEASE bring back a CS2 version of the YPRAC aim training map. Essentially the same mini games as Aimlabs but in CS. Haven't used an aim training map since :(
I think I maybe have left a negative comment on one of your previous videos because I thought it was too vague. However, this video was absolutely on the money for me. Love it and can't wait to try out this myself (actually had map, but had no idea of the possibilities within). Keep it up man, appreciate the content and effort.
I really love this map! it's just like my favourite map in csgo, aim training 2014, and even better in some ways! The only problem I have is in the level 2, the 360 court, because I have to shoot like 1 ball ahead of the target, like the bullet has a very long travel distance. And its most likely not my pc because It run it at 700fps, and only happens in this map.
I am Definitely gonna try this amazing map thanks for letting us know about this map and telling us best practices to do on this map❤I can’t believe how this legend doesn’t have 100k subscribers every his video is banger❤
The microshot warmup just made me hate the fucking bullet bloom so much more. My cross hair gap has 3x3 pixels in the middle for heads. I CAN BE RIGHT ON IT AND IT FUCKING SPREADS WITH FIRST SHOT accuracy xD! This game man
I think this is a great supplementary tool. The frank answer is that all the drills you do in aimlabs you would prefer to do in CS2, just to completely mimic feel. However there still are a lot of drills in Aimlabs that are extremely effective that should be utilized if you want to truly improve mechanics. And always remember that vast majority of practice time should be allocated to in-game stuff.
@@ClarksonNo1 well aiming itself is literally neural connections in your brain (in your head as you say) and nervous system. Aiming ingame is still better
@@ClarksonNo1it’s legit a different engine, nothing is going to feel more “right” other than playing in the actual game. If anything if in your head and you’re trying to make yourself feel validated
The things people will do to avoid simple DM.. I personally just use pienixcs warmup routine thing you can find and I believe you've mentioned it in one of your videos where you tested a bunch of practice methods in cs, I do that for like 15/20 minutes, and play dm before / when queueing for games, ending each day with a long ahh DM session of 500-1k kills, focusing on whatever I fucked up, recently I realised I grip my mouse way too tight and click my mouse button hard too, so that was the focus for every other day, getting used to my wooting keyboard also meant I had to focus on counter strafing / movement aswell. Yap over no one will see this, good vids.
I think this is great, if this map gets people to spend time doing the practice they wouldn't do in Aimlabs/Kovaaks. While dedicated aim trainers are going to be better for building and running practice routines, and analyzing progress and weaknesses, that won't mean anything without the effort. Claiming that training in the actual game is always strictly better is not based in science. I hope that over time, as people learn more about aim as a skill, that myth dies.
Cool map, i will definetly have to give it a try! What I personaly find helpful for cs2 aiming, is to get used to shooting at the actual models you will have to fight ingame. Curious to know if I am not the only one with this. Other than that, this map looks really great to helping you improving your aim.
Would be dope if you could save those settings on each drill and have it underneath that setting board on the wall to just activate your pre-saved settings and go, instead of setting it up every single time
i feel like you should have mentioned grip tension in this video. I would say treat your mouse like its an egg in your hand. a light grip makes you more accurate and calmer while aiming. I like to work on this by going into deathmatch and only focusing on having a light grip on my mouse and taking my time to hit the headshot.
I quit CS few years ago still when GO was around Now I'm coming back and I see I really suck at aiming, I resolve to full auto too quickly haha What else would you recommend to do to improve except for aim?
There is DEFINITELY something wrong with the tracking section on my version. I've gotten pretty good at tracking recently and when I went to practice in this map, I could consistenly center on the dot as it went across but it doesn't register the hit unless I aim at the very front edge. Interestingly, firing in front of the dot does not register either.
when i do the moving targets on level 2 i feel like i have to shoot infront of the targets does anyone know how to fix that, i checked the map description and i have packed buffering on none but still feels really off.
HEY! Have a question do u recoment to useing this command for aimtraining? weapon_accuracy_nospread bec when i do the Precision training i never hit the shots while im crouching and full on target XD
today i was kicked out of cs2 match because i was not good enough, cs2 is my first game ever played on pc I never played any pc games in my life that's why i am not good in multiplayer , but now I am gonna be god of this game
Deathmatch will always be superior aim training... I don't know a single friend who has better aim than me on cs stats. Btw all this aim practice is irrelevant when you know this one thing. Which I've seen nobody talk about minus ropz and monesy, that I know the best players do and I do as well
Love your content bro, keep it going. Kovaaks is way superior imo, but the advantage of aim trainers is that you can isolate and train certain aspects of you aim and have a score to help you track your improvement and help you better judge what your weaknesses are. Anyway, this map is great, im definitely going to incorporate it in my routine, as I can train in-game mechanics that aren’t possible in Koovaks (like spraying).
