I agree, but typically, heat is routed to lower vents and colder AC to top. Heat definitely doesn’t do the phone any good, but I think the cold air is fine.
He’s sitting in the passenger seat, of a small vehicle, but in most full size trucks & cars, I’m going to assume that anywhere on the dashboard, the phone is too far away, for the driver to easily reach the phone symbol’s & controls, but maybe I’m wrong, and it’s purpose anyway, is to just be a phone holder?
I’m in a Toyota Tacoma, which is fairly large inside. In this video, the mount is just for holding, but I prefer a mount that also charges. One I really like is the Spigen MagFit which uses an Apple MagSafe wireless charger. I did a comparative review here: www.walletsurfer.com/wireless-car-chargers
I agree. I used the Moment MagSafe mount in this video because it’s easy on and easy off for demo purposes. It’s also super fast for moving between vehicles and stores in a small space when you’re not using it.
It deflects it more than blocks it. You won't be able to aim it towards your face, but the cool air escapes around it. What I like about car vent mounts is that you don't have to use some yucky adhesive and you can remove them/change vents, etc. any time you want.
