Anyone else quit and start over once a year in the summer? I enjoy playing the game as an f2p until i get bored or lose a 50/50 and then quit the game until a year later xD
to any newbie who finds this video: just take this man's advice. i went step to step with what his advice in his last build guide and i could build my characters strong enough clear the floor 11 of the abyss before most of my friends (who started with me or a few weeks before) could even clear floor 8 the way u go through your guide is super precise and on the point. thanks sharkie

You can up your world level, you can do the ascension quest... If you have a higher world level, you get higher rewards for the same energy/resin. It's more efficient and you progress faster. If the world is too hard and you can't beat the bosses and enemies alone, ask for help in co-op

Since when do you play this game? I created my first account (it's my only account) 1 year ago but I instantly dropped it because I was too stupid or my brain wasn't braining and I couldn't do the first task💀(I normally don't play anime type of games of games with power system like genshin. Yesterday, I downloaded it again, and while it was loading, I watched RU-vid videos about genshin and didn't understand more than half of it😅 I have a feeling I'm going to mess up my account
@@ashab4444 Don't worry about messing up your accout too much. Play for fun, but do try to keep a few materials for later. For example, try to keep at least 15 fragile resin at all times in case u really want a character. Try to wish ONLY on characters you find fun at the beginning, don't wish the second you got 160 primos unless you actually like the character. Those are my only 2 pieces of advice, as those are what easily "ruin" accounts on genshin. Look at more videos of the characters and see what dps you like, and try to form a team around them (like hu tao/xingqiu/bennett/zhongli). And don't waste primos on standard banner no matter what!!
@@miuletzmitzu6641you gotta waste primos at the beginning on standard banner if the rate up 4* are trash and the 5* is also not desirable. You cant level all your trash 4* characters to 80 and get their talents up because you’re waiting for a good banner to release
@@No__Vanity If you're that worried about wasting resources and levelling up too quickly but still don't have a banner you want to wish on, just wait at any of the ARs that require you to complete the domain to progress. AR 25, 35, 45, or 50 are all stoppable points with 35 and 50 being both solid stopping points. As for AR 35 you don't have to level up too much to beat everything at that level so you won't be wasting resources on characters you don't plan to play long term, and for AR 50 everything is unlocked at that point so you won't be missing any in game content. It is much better to be patient than gamble for something from standard that you may or may not even like. Taking a break until there's a banner you're interested in is not bad either; the game isn't going anywhere and you aren't missing out on anything if you'd otherwise be spending it on standard banner.

Quick tip for newer players that feel like the teams they are playing are not doing enough damage for some content: Consider building a Hyperbloom team. This will be made of at least one each of a dendro, hydro and electro character (you can use anemo, geo, cryo or double up on one of the other elements to fill out the team). You want your: electro character to be kuki shinobu/raiden shogun > electro traveler/razor > dori/fischl/yae miko. any hydro character of choice, ideally xingqiu/yelan/kokomi/barbara any dendro character, ideally nahida > alhaitham > dendro traveller/collei/yaoyao To build the team, level your electro character of choice as high as they will go, and put as much elemental mastery on them (and some energy recharge if you are using razor, electro MC or dori). This can be done by using EM on the sands, goblet and circlet. You can use Energy Recharge sands and favonius weapons if you are struggling to get your burst up. A standard build with good energy recharge on the rest (not very important) and you're good to go. Hyperbloom gives you by far the most damage for the least investment and can be used to deal with particularly difficult content.

I also recommend doing ores and artifact routes. Even at a lower AR you can check for routes prior to Inazuma and Sumeru to get extra resin free artifact fodder. It helps a lot. I still do them daily 2+ years in so I can level up more and different artifacts.
This should be pinned imho. The artifact farming route is REALLY annoying to do at first, but once you have it down it's really quick and it's a HUGE boost to your account. You can sell these artifacts for mora or use them to level your artifacts. Eventually you'll get to a point where you have a bunch of artifacts that have high potential, but you lack the mora / fodder artifacts to level them up.
I think that if you do quests and world missions while exploring around you'll get all that you need. Farming routes for artifacts is so annoying and isn't effective in my opinion. I prefer to buy them from npc
@@whyismynametaken123 Yeah, exactly and it doesn't take much time. You don't even have to do it everyday. It's resin and mora free. Better than jumping between flower beds in Mondstadt and having a copium wall full of unleveled artifacts because one doesn't have the fodder. But I know the majority of genshin players doesn't do them.

About 4 weeks ago, I decided to give Genshin another shot on a brand new account. I watched your previous guide and let me tell you, it helped me. In just a matter of 3-4 weeks I was able to get from AR 1 to AR 46 and was able to save a ton of resources all thanks to your tips and advice. Started ghensin with this video 3 months ago now I'm Ar 50 and let me say I didn't regret any advice from this video it helped a lot. (One thing I want to add is choose the weapons base on ur characters kit.)
@@aloysiad6780 craft 4 star weapons. Craftables r really good and some can be used even late game,u will not waste any resources that way (there are some exceptions for 3 star but don't think too hard now) enjoy the game 👋

I'm soo mad that I didn't find your previous guide before I started. I'm a relatively new player and I made the critical mistake of spreading my ressources way to much but my biggest mistake was to raise my world lvl way too fast. Now I'm a little stuck. I can't clear my domains because I'm not strong enough and I got stuck on signora fight because i wasn't strong enough and the fight was at world lvl 6. I'm slowly fixing my account thx to your guides Shark. I implore all new player; follow this or you will struggle.
The domains/etc. aren't actually the problem with progressing your overworld level. You can always choose to just play on a lower difficulty of the domain, nothing changes. The only difference is *access* to the higher level of the domain. What *is* unavoidable is the overworld content becoming harder, if that is your issue. Domains and world bosses can always be played on lower difficulty.
Same I had to make 20 accounts cuz of that mistake and I deleted the I created a new one that’s why am watching tutorials to get better am really hoping this one works ^^
I really love how point out repeatedly to be patient about doing those ascension quests. I personally took it so slow post AR45 that i accumulated so much AR Exp that i skipped from 50 to 55
I stopped at 35 and just focused on traveler I'm still new at this I'm just glad people are still doin vids and guides for this game I never knew thus existed until my niece told me about last month lol
I had one account I took from ar 35 to 53 in like 20mins did 3 or 4 ascension domains in a row 😂. Yes I was feeling it with my level 70 team afterwards
I sit at AR35 so darn long that when I do the ascension quest I yeeted from WL3 to WL5 (AR45) real fast. Had to lower it down cuz everything getting hard which I generally don't mind until it affected my commission or any time limited battle oof.
Yep I alredy got him everything to level up from 0-80 and all level 8 talents ☠ And i try to pull for his weapon 😀 So i should try to gather materials for his weapon as well

Hi, this guide is great and paced out wonderfully! I wanted to make an important comment based on some experiences starting and running alt accounts: I don't agree with pausing at AR45 and not ascending the world level because: 1) you will be farming bosses a lot at this point in ascending your team and you get double the chance of 5* artifact drops at WL6 vs WL5, which is crucial to reduce the artifact farming burden. You also get one extra green crystal chunk on average which has also been a limiting factor to ascend two teams past 70 2) since the next cap is at AR50 and won't automatically go higher then if things get too hard you can switch commissions to Mondstadt, get coop help, or reduce your world level back to 5 temporarily to deal with feeling too weak or stressed out. So there should be no barrier to just giving it a shot 3) Enemy loot is so much better at WL6 in some regions vs 5 and this will also be a huge time sink otherwise, for example when raising weapons to 80 4) Eventually getting to AR50 is important for gathering talent materials since its inefficient to farm them at the lower difficulty levels and your books from quests or chests will be long gone by now. Its about 33% more resin efficient and every bit counts to hit talent levels 8 and up.
Can't agree more. And there are even more reasons: 1) For good artifact/materials farming at AR45, you will have to co-op anyway, so it does not matter if the world level is 5 or 6 (there will be people who will be glad to help), 2) I swear I did not get guaranteed 5* artifacts in the Emblem domain before completing the world ascension quest. Once I just got a 4* twice, I decided to increase the world level as soon as possible. Maybe I did something wrong, but that was the reason for me to increase the world level.
Great update. I used the previous guide when I started a few months ago. The only thing I would mention to new players is that when you get to AR 40+ you should have a handle on the game and should be able to adjust recommendations to your team comp. For example if you are running hyperbloom you may want to hold on to a 4 star EM sand, goblet, or circlet over getting a non em 5* upgrade
I started 5 months ago. I was ar 35 and was struggling with high world level. But the previous video helped me very much. Now I am level 55 at world 8 and can kill any enemy easily.Only thing that hurt me was sumeru story.A little regret is that i didn't wish for yulen because I had xinqiu. I needed her for 2nd Abyss team. I am really able to enjoy the game because of your help. Thank you very much.

@@hoobabooba3034 yup I put the ascension quest on hold at ar 35 before i proceeded made sure my main dps was well built as the video reccomends tried to build my other characters in my main team one by one, and when it feels like i can kill the enemies at ease then 8 did the ascension quest Though after that you will be stuck at ar 45 the longest time for farming artifacts and resources for character ascension materials Hope this helps!
Who did you start off with as a team? I chose ganyu as my main character to focus on despite having yae and raiden. I simply do not have enough to focus on them Team atm is noel, ganyu, lumine, and amber for cute emotional support when Im struggling lol
I literally just discovered your first video about this the other day and watched it. It was extremely insightful, even to me at AR58. For example, I finally understood the trap of leveling up your characters from 80 to 90. I long knew that the exp books and mora needed to pass from 80 to 90 is almost the same amount needed to pass from 1 to 80, but I didn't know just how measly the power increase is. Really, really not worth it unless their your favorite character (I mean, there's no way i wouldn't level up my Raiden to 90, even if I make a clown of myself) I really look forward to watch the updated video this afternoon, when I'm a little more relaxed. Christmas came early this year!
true. this guy's warning is the reason i never leveld my raiden above 81 (just did 80 to 81 so peeps would know im in the max ascension and not 80/80). my friends laughed at me. now im laughing at them as i sit at around 700 purple books and they're at 0. and i haven't even farmed the books leyline even once

I blasted from ar0 to ar40 in two weeks and didn’t stop to farm and I was ok. There was a difficulty spike and had to build a cohesive team but I could get the extra loot from the higher world level including tons of 5 star artifacts from bosses and all that. I think if you are mechanically ok it’s worth ascending as soon as possible.
@@Leon玲央 World level essentially just means you are increasing the difficulty of the world which enemies get stronger and you are able to get more drops from them
@@Leon玲央 World level 1 happens at AR 20, Level 2 is at AR 25, ect. It happens every 5 AR levels and goes up to world level 7 which is AR 50. In order to increase the world level, you would need to do a quest for it. I would recommend to follow the guide on when to level up the world level.
As someone who hasnt played since the first 2 weeks of the base game launching this guide has been so helpful. I forgot what any of this shit was and what goals to set for myself. Not to mention i hadnt even started the 2nd archon chapter. Theres so much to do now!

as a new player(for a month now), you will be tempted to build multiple characters from the start specially when you get lucky in your early wishes. luckily i watched your previous video just when i started, and focused on 1 character. helps a lot!

Well actually there is a consequence on choosing the quick start option at an event: spoilers, varying in size and importance. The academy showdown for exemple spoiled scara's redemption quest

This is by far the best guide I have come across. Everything is explained thoroughly and after following this guide, my own account is flourishing with resources. To any newbie, just take this man's advice and you won't regret it.
Be careful on waiting too long before finally doing an ascension quest. Every second World Level is gated behind those quests. The ones in between happen automatically. If you delay the Ascension Quest long enough, you’ll jump two World Levels instead of one.
@@eliozitea2969I have 60k adventure rank and I'm building up my characters enough so that when I complete the Ascension quest, I can just get them to lvl 80 and all their weapons/talents.
Pretty much - level up weapon - Ascend character - talents - level up character - artifacts to a decent level until AR 40-45 then u get your sets (just decent artifacts u will need to replace them later) and upgrade them to +20
This guide Saved my account this week! I'm a returning day 1 player that quit 1 month into launch so technically a new player lol. I quit because I couldn't under stand the game play and after playing tower of fantasy for a year plus now I understand it a lot more. I picked Genshin back up again after watching some videos with Navia and Fontaine and wanted to give it another shot. I usually keep the game up to date and log in every now and then when I see twitch giving away primos (I was able to grab Lynette this way lol) but anyway log story short. I had just hit AR 30 when this video came across my home page, and thank you it did. I was just blasting through quests, exploration, and accessions like they were nothing and once the world increased at 30 I got smacked in the face (not by much but enough for me to realize something was up) I had just not realized that even though I was doing all this farming, I needed to actually use the items I was gathering as well instead of just horde then for when I have 5 star gear and weapons, I was also more focused on artifacts then my weapons. I was essentially neutering all of my characters, after switching to what you said to do for AR 30 - 35 I'm coasting nicely right now as I explore Narukami Island. Same.. Looking at the long numbers, I thought mora was the least of my worries.. Until I came to see the numbers turn from millions to zero while upgrading all my character's artifacts. I was so shocked when it happened 😂
I started following each and every one of your advice as I started the game just last week. Damn, I am just AR 14 but my Kayea and Main character are both at 575 and 489 damage respectively, along with good defense and crit stats. My friends got irritated because they didn’t manage their resources well and left the game. Thanks so much Shark! Love your content. The bonus idea of actually downloading the mobile version and claiming daily rewards through the hoyoverse app is a life saver. Can’t wait to beef up more characters later on ❤

I really felt the change from AR34 -> 35 even after leveling talent/upgrading weapon/ as well as ascension to the max possible at that point - it was still a bit brutal - I can't imagine how it is for people who haven't done this! I had banked so much XP by this point that I went from AR34 to AR44 instantaneously. I can go further, but there's another rank quest that will bump the world level and again - and now way in hell am I ready for that! LOL
@@bonjovi1354 best thing is to concentrate to maxing talents, weapon and level first. You can keep going up to getting the first adventure rank quest - that's when the world level jumps up and makes everything harder (it's to scale with higher level units, but if talents and all of that isn't maxed out first, it's way too hard). Take all the rewards you can, just ensure that you've maxed out at least your core four main units before doing the adventure rank quest. That's my experience anyways.

Hyperbloom does the most damage in early game so i recommend a hyperbloom team ( a reaction when bloom hydro+dendro comes into contact with electro) the best character for this is (in terms of electro) kuki if you dont have her use lisa (or razor but he requires his burst/ult for hyperbloom which isnt practical) for the dendro options its nahida but yoa yoa and collei(which you can get for free by completing floor 4 chamber 3 of spiral abyss)are also good and for hydro barbara is the best for early game but xinqui becomes better than her in late game since he requires his burst.

Another thing to add during a lower AR is that you should definitely spend all that time hoarding materials. I'm talking ores, books, regional materials, mob drops, boss drops, and even crystalflies! I was too scared to face Raiden for the first time when I went to Inazuma so that's all I did before doing the ascension quests. Present me at AR59 is so so thankful for that cause I don't really have to use much of my fragile resin for books, mora, or other domains and I can just focus on artifacts to make my characters stronger
Played Genshin for about 2 weeks now, currently AR 43 with most of the archon questlines fully completed (mondstadt, liyue, inazuma & sumeru) and a ton of world quests + side quests/events. What I would definitely recommend doing earlier on - Farm EVERYTHING and pick up every item from every fallen enemy and any food, flowers, world objects along the way. Only use your daily resin and save up your resin refills until later on when you need ascension parts. Focus on 1-2 characters as your main dps and a support-dps/healer, main dps can be a wide variety of people but I was very fortunate to get Keqing early on and she absolutely dominates in a hyperbloom/quicken team. Bennett is also a very good 4-star to try to get early on as he works in all roles. Kaeya is a really good free character as well don't underestimate what he can do. Dendro or Electro traveller is good if you don't have any other choices. Barbara is a good free healer + water character. Don't bother much with farming *good roll* artifacts until at least AR 40 as that's when you unlock 5-star domains. The 4-stars you'll find along your journey will work well until then just make sure to upgrade them. Most importantly, have fun and use characters you enjoy.
my method, plan my composition for the upcoming character ~ farm decent artifact ~ farm primogems for atleast 160 pullsl ~ farm mora,exp, talent, ascension and available weapons ~ wait for months or years for the rerun ~ get the character, upgrade and pop off. exactly what i did on kazuha,nahida and alhaitham.
optional: farm IRL to get bp weapons added in your arsenal with just r1 , you can also buy welkin for extra bonus daily. other microtransactions are not worth it and not recommended spending hundreds of your hard earn money in a incomplete content less game.

@@JeyC_ Yes, I mean kazuha is the most versatile unit in the game, aside from that. hes not clunky to play and has a very ease of use. youl'll see him often on tierlist as one of THE BEST non-dendro unit and a must pull regarding your resin. "USE IT NOW IF" you want to hit endgame faster and get better drops/artifact earlier. 'USE IT LATER" if you want to maximize your farming endgame for drops/artifact, because endgame provide better drop rate. jean kazuha would be a great team , if you add bennet & xiangling. you now have a functioning team. jean goes pure ATK for healing and kazuha pure EM (600-800 EM "recommended" )
Feeling like its me. I have stored 2 millions exp on ar35 right now. Still building and stacking up accential materials as much possible. 😂 I know when I will acend the domain I will probably hit ar45 and will be stacked another big pile of exp😂
@@mamunabdulla781 2 million adventure exp is enough for AR60 lol (1880200 according to the wiki), so yes if you do the quest it will boost you two world levels and the next ascension quest will immediately pop up after you exit the domain
True but u need more resin as bosses and domains even mobs have low drops for higher material which u need at that stage so if u have ur team ready just ascend ur world
I had many friends telling me not to waste my time focusing on a toon I enjoyed. I found I really liked ningguang when I first started and I saw her gameplay. I was dead set having her as one my main world players and dove in when I received her. I managed to do F2P and got her BiS weapon, and got even luckier getting c6 of her while exploring the game and earning primos. To this day ningguang is my comfort toon, I love her and I thrive on the character. I still have raised eyebrows when I tell people Geo is my favorite. I have zhongli that shields her more and Bennet to heal that is c6. And then I flex my other 5 and 4 stars in as needed. I got very lucky on F2P, it’s made me appreciate the game in a slower pace, read the lore, and just go through the dialogue. Genshin is my cozy game, I min max now and I have plenty of 5 stars. But even now evolving after all that time, the game is still so damn refreshing cause I didn’t rush it.
TLDR watch the video above, but if you are world level 5 and AR 45 ascend to world level 6 ASAP and just drop the world level back to 5 to unlock the higher talents and weapon levels. This worked great for me, but i've been playing less than 3 months. Your experience may vary. So i started two months ago and was following the old guide. My advice upon watching this with the very recent experience of leveling my account is that if you are able to do World level 5 content slightly comfortably, do your ascension quest ASAP to get to world level 6, when you do this you can lower the world level back down to 5, but you'll now be able to get your weapons to 90 without needing to actually deal with the difficulty of world level 6 bosses and such. This is also super good for if you have limited time to play as you'll now have overpowered characters for the content you are doing meaning you can complete more in less time. I'm AR 50 with world level 6 atm. The day before my weekend i lower my world level back to 5 so that i can do world quests and archon quests at a very quick pace. This has been working really well for me so please try it out. The downside is that drops from mobs and bosses in the world are not always the highest tier, but when i'm just grinding out the story i dont care as i've already spent the week farming the materials i need to keep leveling weapons, talents and characters. For resin spending on these days with lower world level, just do domains for the talent books, or the weekly bosses at the highest level you can do them at. If saturdays dont have the talent/weapon domain you need, just craft the condensed resin after doing weekly bosses and save it for sunday when all domains are open.
So im ar45 and I haven't done the ascension quest yet. I use diluc as my main and raiden as sub dps but I feel like I need better artifacts for diluc as he isn't doing much damage as i expected him to do. I have levled up the weapons to 80 tho but here's the problem, I don't understand if I should do the world ascension quest ( as if its the case, I can get better artifacts from domains after doing it) or just keep farming with my current world level as the domain boses at lvl 80 are already too hard to deal with with my current world level 🥲
i'm now at ar 50 finally with a solid hu tao team after 6 months of playing :') i've used it as a todo list and its pretty dang good. i breezed through every ascention quest, domain or boss thanks to this guide and hu tao. time to crown her as a "thank you", farm a lot of golden troupe for my 2nd team and eventually take on the abbys with furina :D
Can I ask where your team was around AR 35? Literally every person (this guide included) says to hoard leveling materials like they're made of solid gold but all of my characters except my selected one are sitting at level 40 and mobs are starting to hit like a truck when I switch to them and I'm worried it will only get worse. I'm not sure if I should level my whole team or continue funneling into my one character.. EDIT: This is BEFORE the ascension quest at 35.
@Draisaitl0926 my team at ar35 was: fischl (physical on field), xingqiu, xiangling, bennett. i invested resources into all 4 of them equally as i felt like i didn't have an actual main dps by then. but then i got hu tao on her rerun and started funneling resources to her and xingqiu. i also built a shield character (layla) because hu tao benefits from being low hp and is extremely vulnerable. if you think you're dying too much, then consider building a shield character. mobs will do a lot more damage, and it will get worse unless you just kill them before they break your shield. your team's DPS needs to be good. what you need to invest into and in what order depends on your team. can i ask what team you are using and your chosen character?
@@juneist I started enjoying the game and grabbed Navia before her banner left, but the problem is (which I didn’t realize at the time) her ascension mats are in Fontaine so until I get there she’s basically stuck at lvl 40. I also got Raiden who is my main DPS so I’m basically considering benching Navia for Xiangling, which sucks because I really like her. My other two are currently Kuki and Bennett. (I know Kuki isn’t that great but I think her kit is cool and I like her aesthetic). I know my composition isn’t exactly meta, but I would like to strike a balance between characters I enjoy and characters that actually perform well together. You answered my question though which is to progress all 4 equally so I think that’s what I will do! Now I just need to figure out what I’m gonna do for my team haha. My other worry is how I’m going to handle anything that’s resistant to Pyro or Electro if I do an Overload team..
@@Draisaitl0926 i mean if you like navia then you can still make a really good team using just the characters you listed (example: navia, geo traveller, xiangling, bennett). as for the ascention mats, after you beat dvalin, the teleport next to fontaine gets unlocked for everyone. you don't have to walk through the whole sumeru desert to get there. also kuki shinobu is an amazing character in dendro reaction teams and aesthetically, i'm so jealous because i don't have her yet :( but raiden teams are still really good if that's what you want to play. do consider trying to get xingqiu as he's really good with raiden, xiangling, bennett, kuki, dendro traveller or literally every character in the game and solves your problem of resistant enemies (you can buy him using starglitter in march and september). but you can still continue using overload kuki if you want. investing into her is still a good long term investment as kuki will become an amazing character if you ever want to play a dendro team (like this cheap but amazing hyperbloom team: kuki, xingqiu, dendro traveller, any character that doesn't affect dendro cores)

I officially once I get on tonight will have 30 days active on Genshin... crazy to think that. I am now AR 40 and am having a grand old time. This guide has helped immensely. There is still a ton to do, but I look forward to more Genshin in the future.

As someone who started today and for some reason got recommended genshin content due to searching up a few things, I appreciate this video. Helped me figure out a game plan for making sure my characters get as much value as possible
If you have bad luck with your gacha rolls, some of these tips aren't really that helpful. You'll be pretty much forced to level up and build on most of the free characters you get to farm materials or even artifacts.
Another beginner tip: Use your resin early game! Don’t leave it to waste. The best use of it from AR 1-15 is in leylines to get the necessary EXP books and Mora to ascend your characters. Later ARs, resin can be put in for weekly and world bosses.

Some feedback on the video piece: the blue progress bar is super distracting. Personally I don't even think it's needed for the entire video like this (I do like it when content creators add it during the sponsored sections), and especially because of the chapter feature it just feels really unnecessary. That aside, the fact that there's a gap between the bottom of the screen and the bar makes it very hard to ignore. I think if it was smaller (height wise) and at the bottom of the screen, it would be much more tolerable if you feel like you need to include it. Otherwise, great content as always. Your previous version of this video helped me a lot when I was starting out.
Remember: just because you are stuck outside Inazuma, doesn't mean you should skip valuable characters like Raiden, Ayaya, Kazuha, Kokomi or whatever you fancy. Reruns take months while the story quests take no more than a week, if you don't ignore it. Get them if you like and use something else until you can build them. Also don't bother with artifact farming until AR45 (when you can do highest lvl dungeon version) but keep a few generic sets updated, so your character doesn't become weak naked. I neglected it because in overworld its easier, but once I started a dungeon with my naked toons they all got rekt easily, so I had to depend on online coop and leech people to farm the sets I needed. You can fodder these sets with 80% of XP spent into new ones, but don't spread that into multiple, weaker sets.

Great guide, I recently started a F2P account near the end of May to challenge myself since my spending account is pretty boring and easy. It's nice to understand the numbers behind the prioritization. I'm AR 31 and could've made a few adjustments along the way, but managed to have enough resources and previous knowledge to be close to where I should be. The one question I have is regarding weapons. Is it better in your opinion to use any 4* weapons over 3* weapons, regardless of their additional stat or skill/refinement level? Like for example, I've been running Slingshot on Fischl since the start, I've got it to R5 and I like the crit rate it gives, but I have the free Fav Bow and have been debating if it makes sense to change.
I really needed this guide! I was stuck at AR 25 because I leveled up characters too fast before focusing on their ascension materials, feathers and artifacts. Wasted time using resin farming experience books instead of ascension materials, but I stopped this mistake before hitting that wall people hit later on in the game. Thanks for the pro tips!
I'm in the same situation, although I got Mona. I have been using Beidou, but she's slowly falling off and seems better suited as sub dps. I really wonder who's better to pull for
Kazuha the goat. But seriously once I got him it made world exploration soo much easier. I can just climb mountains easily and can group enemies to easily dispatch them. Though he isn't really a main dps.
Kazuha is primarily a support character and can fit and buff almost any team. Don't go for Alhaitham just now as he needs a lot of support from other characters. Also, if you couple Kazuha with Viridescent Venerer artifact set, he will help your team shred through any quantity and quality of enemies you face.
As a person that has done many mistakes on my account , I recommend you choose 2 dps characters that you want to play and build 2 teams around the 2 characters , also don't use resin till ar 45 that's when you will be able to get gold artifacts
I suffer with Dyscalculia and trying to play a game like this with numbers is impossible but you’ve helped me sort through my characters brilliantly, so cheers for that!

Im so grateful for this guide. I returned after like a year for Furina, and while I got her and im extremely happy, i also forgot EVERYTHING and i was so overwhelmed i almost dropped the game again out of frustration. With this vid i have a clear list of the order to approach things, and i can relax and enjoy the game :)

I am a day one player who is just coming back to the game since 1.3 I logged in here or there to get a multi every now and then but I was still in the beginning of chapter one and now I'm almost done Sumeru I was AR 28 when I started and now I'm AR 45 and I'm stuck with low damage can't do anything lol

Dude used the previous iteration of this guide to get to ar45 in 3 weeks and i am now on the last level of the abyss and ar55 2 months in. That video has been on my second monitor everyday. Glad you updated this The only thing i would add to this with my speed run experience is prioritize a Dendro. I ran to sumeru to make the Traveler dendro, use it with barbara and lisa to hyperbloom, that makes it very easy to progress
Amazing guide! Or... well, I ASSUME it's amazing! I have to try it properly first, but I'm glad to finally have a guide on 'what to do' first, optimal or not. I didn't realize how important accessories were. I assumed they were a 'optimizing your build' kinda thing, but they truly beef up the heck out of your character.
I'm on AR 45, lvl 60 diluc with a lvl 40 weapon equipped with worse artifacts. No wonder even a normal hilichurl takes me minutes to defeat. I meant to play Genshin casually, but enemies are becoming more and more annoying and harder to defeat. Thanks for the guide!
