STAR WARS: Episode 2 | ATTACK OF THE PHONY
Eyezayar is back to experience more of the Star Wars franchise for the first time while using the definitive viewing method: The LEGO videogame. Can Eyezayar prevent the Star War from happening without a single clue of what is going on around him? I would assume probably not, as there are 7 movies that come after this one.

To answer your question about lightsabers being bound to their users: they are powered by things called Khyber Crystals, which do call to the specific jedi, but anyone can use any lightsaber.

@@junior523 Boba wasn't really that kind of a side character, he was set up to be a major villain and center focus of several scenes, but killed off quickly in RotJ in order to focus on the conflict with Vader and Palpatine. If you want the earliest version of this, almost all of the characters in the Mos Eisley cantina have backstories, as do a solid chunk of the TIE Fighter pilots, officers, rebel pilots, etc. The largest early example is probably Wedge Antilles.

@@junior523 So did the backstory of Tarkin and Vader in New Hope, neither were side characters. Tarkin had about as much screentime and lines as Boba Fett, maybe one more scene, and Tarkin was a main villain. In Empire Strikes Back he was set up as one of the dragons, a secondary villain being developed. He was a consistent threat through the latter half. Just as Jabba wasn't a side character in RotJ neither was Boba in ESB. He was absolutely a side character in RotJ though.

@@sherwinkentpajomunoz2521 The Skywalker line has a weird obsession and simping over women. I mean think about it, Anakin with Padme, Luke with Leia (sigma mentality) and Mara Jade, Kylo with Rey and Jacen with Talon. Literally evey single one of them, Anakin and Kylo being the biggest examples.

No joke, I played the OG before I watched any of the films. I did what this man is doing, except with no spoken dialogue. It was a fun experience, and it honestly made watching the movies later more entertaining.

Fun fact: The Jedi do in fact give small children lightsabers. Most Younglings will make their own lightsaber before the age of 8 which is when they become a Padawan.

Isn’t constructing your own lightsaber one of the last things a Padowan does before they become a Jedi? How would they train with their lightsaber before that? Do they borrow someone else’s?

I think Industrial Automata created the R series of droids. The R1 is the tall green droid from episode 4. Everyone knows the R2. R3 usually has a clear dome, but sometimes has an R2 dome. R4 usually has a tall cone, but a hand full have R2 domes. R5 and 6 have short cones. R7-9 have questionable cannon status.

8:27 actually, yes! There are two big non-military droid manufacturers in Star Wars, Industrial Automation and Cybot Galactica. IA mostly made astromech droids like R2-D2, and CG specialized in protocol droids like C-3PO.

18:06 Anakin's (first) lightsaber was sawed in half during the factory scene. Obi-Wan's was confiscated when he was captured. After the Jedi showed up and jumped into the arena, two of them literally tossed some spares at our heroes. That's why Ani's color changed.

The fallen Jedi actually has to take the time to make their Kyber crystal bleed so that it turns red so you can easily be betrayed by one of your own and not know it. Also, the Jedi give younglings fake lightsabers until they do the gathering in which they get their own Kyber crystals on Ilum and build their lightsabers

That's how I first got into Star Wars when I was 12. Through LEGO. First, I just wanted a cool spaceship for my wave 1 minifigures robot. I was choosing between then recent Buzz Lightyear set and Anakin on some icy planet. I don't even remember why I chose the latter but this was how I got into playing the game, then watching the movies out of any of the existing orders. Then comsuming all the spin-offs and as much droid-related content as I could get. A truly unique expirience
