Thanks for watching! Whats your fav method of diamond mining 🤔I honestly prefer the dive mining and just making tunnels every 4-8 blocks Branching off the side of every tunnel does get you more, but its sooooo slow and boring lol Subscribe to help us reach 600k 😊 I'll have a few more tutorials out this month :D
Yes It reveals everything but its far less efficient. Reason is at around 6 blocks tunnels effectively become independent of each other. There's people who ran the simulation with Matlab before.
To clarify what others are saying, it's a choice between optimizing 1) Diamonds per Hour or 2) Diamonds per Chunk. Skipping only 2 blocks optimizes Diamonds per Chunk while lowering Diamonds per Hour (You increase the number of blocks mined per chunk, looking for less likely diamond generation). Up to you, it can be an uncomfortable feeling knowing that you are probably leaving diamonds behind that are just hidden behind one block.
@@ninjacow I look at it like this, if I do 6 block chunks that means I have to make a larger area for the same amount of tunnels than a 2 block tunnel. I’m not in any hurry so why not be thorough?
Thank you so much! I've been mining a 2x4 area till now and have to place torches every 6 blocks because I'm afraid mobs will spawn. I haven't played minecraft since 1.18 so I didn't know that you can now crawl using trapdoors. I tried this method and got diamonds faster than my friends who have been playing the server weeks earlier than me lol. Very helpful video! Subbed and liked!!
My favorite way to mine for diamonds is using withers. It gives 11 stacks of diamonds per hour before the previous update. other methods give around 2 stacks of diamonds per hour before the previous update.
2:45 Another tip: Bring armor into big caves, and a sword and shield edit: also try to attack the mobs and place torches there so that mobs won't spawn
Started playing bedrock recently and found the biggest pocket of diamonds I’ve ever seen. 20 diamonds in one pocket exposed to air. It blew my mind and I don’t think I’ll ever see this again sadly.
I definitely think there some sort of issue with diamond generation in minrcraft beta version 1.21.20. I stripe mined for hours and found almost no diamonds (about 24 diamonds after making about 100 tunnels). Also most diamonds I found were in stacks of just one or two, much like how we found surface diamonds in 1.20. Can someone agree if this is true?
When your bedrock version and still can't crouch in 1 block, you can use water then swim towards 1 block and you succeed, you also get sprint which is always active even when you stay in place
I personally have always Mined at -54 for diamonds it's just above the lava level diamonds with a fortune 3 pickaxe and just mine a straight line for 1000s of blocks, an hour of digging usually yields a stack and a half of diamond
I've been mining in 2×2s on all Y levels during my strip mines. Should I switch my method to 1×2s or 1×1 crawl mining? Idk if I should switch over or not.
hello silent!, is the increased diamond quantity out in the current version and if so will I need to generate new chunks on my world for this to come into affect?
Accuracy by volume. I always start at -59, 2x1 tunnel, usually 500 long to start. Each tunnel has 2 blocks between. Once i complete a 1000x1000 area, i leave 1 block as a floor for the next level up and make another layer of branches. Ive only done this as high as 3 layers and i got more diamonds than i needed.
@@DonNo.47 y= -59. Make a room for storage. Pick a wall. Dig tunnel. Go 500 blocks. Turn left or right. Dig 3 blocks. Turn back toward the room. Dig back. Repeat until you have gone in every direction 500 blocks. Above each tunnel will be another tunnel. Repeat as necessary.
Started a minecraft world yesterday, random seed has 2 villages off spawn, 2 ship wrecks, 2 sea temples(I think that’s what they’re called where you get the sponges, I haven’t played in a long time but ik they’re rare) and 2 abandoned nether portals
I mined for 30 minutes, found 2 diamonds, found a lava lake, built up, lava lake made me stand up and then I lost everything. I'll stick to the 2 tall branching technique
Just hold shift while on a ladder and you can't fall off, dig down at the same speed as standing and then put more ladders down beneath you, or drop down
Imagine they secretly add the old siren head version of the Warden that can go into crawling mode. It’d be hilarious to watch people do this crawl mining past a deep dark biome and think they were largely safe if they just got far enough away. Then they realize their grave mistake and loose their minds as that freak just goes clambering down their tunnel after them.
could always dive mine in bedrock by using water. I guess the trap door kinda makes it quicker, but still could always do it. But I hadn't noticed that swift sneak increased crawl speed. that's dope. happy mining, folks
It never occurred to me to use the mined blocks to force the ore drops up to you to collect them! I mean i use that technique when digging out a quarry, cave diving, and building in tight areas… I never thought to use it while mining. Now if you’ll excuse me… I have a bunch of random trap doors I need to go recollect now.
This works for me but the only problem is pushing items with blocks towards me, they just disappear. I mine all of the surrounding blocks and there is nothing lol. Any idea about that?
I'd recommend you guys start strip mining for diamonds, then once you get stacked, get a fortnue 3 pickaxe and go in caves. Trust me your iron armour aint gonna help you so just get full diamond armour and start going in caves.
@@camerobaird5939 Easy tip to bulldoze through nether is to dig down to Y-14 then dig straight line to your devised coordinates, divide your 10k blocks by 8, you'd get nether coors there then set portal up. Y no longer matters, portal will always spawn on ground in Overworld, so don't worry about that. Viola! You have a fresh chunk to use at portal linking, you can mine anywhere then come back to home via portal link. Although, you'll probably want to set packed ice line in long tunnel so trips can be quicker with boat on packed ice.
Statistically proven (mathematics & accounting major here) that diamonds are literally 2x more likely on a chunk border, not because they spawn in double chunks, but because it’s like using 2 eyes to look instead of one. 2 different spawn pools but the same amount of mining.
So if you're saying to mine the head height layer on your way back, then what's the point of doing 1x1 mining to begin with? Just to save fractions of seconds for the same results?
I just wanna say that this trick is pretty good but does this work on java edition or bedrock or both because i quit using bedrock and switched to java edition but this would be useful for some players but i would recommend using a trick i use i call it the tunnel mine you dig straight down and make it large not dig straight down alot like every time dig five blocks down and repeat it as a wide tunnel.
a lot of good deepslate caves are not too hard to find you just need to explore a bit. my last few worlds have all had good caves found within 30 minutes of just exploring the area I spawned in
At 1:33 I always dig down like that NEVER DIG STRAIGHT DOWN your gonna die or fall in lava unless you cheat and you know what’s under you and know what’s in the way
Tip: turn your sound volume up so that you can hear lava or copy your world your mining at and go into spectator mode to see where your gonna encounter lava
Hi, i don't understand with what does experience help you repair your pickaxe? And how do you repair in the first place? I know just that u can put two togheter to merge their durability but thats not exactly a repair, isnt it? Please answer thank you guys (Just started to play minecraft cuz my gf likes it so i don't know much about it)
If you get the enchantment mending on your pickaxe, it heals a bit with some experience you gather and yes to repair a pickaxe you need to combine them at an anvil so unless your pickaxe that's about to break has really good enchantments on it then it's best to just use a new one ^^
Hi this is very helpful but i dont think that many people are gonna have this type of '' rich stuff '' like a nether pick so im wondering if its still possible without all those
I mined for 10 minutes and got 4 diamonds, and that was only 1 vein! I am mining in a straight line and every 8 blocks mine to the sides I cant crawl because I forgot to bring the stuff what am I doing wrong?
When diamonds spawn, and it’s sticking out to where you can see it, it’s normally not going to exceed 4 diamond ore, if it’s hidden diamonds you can get up to 8 ore
