Too many times I have been told either "I've been doing it this way for 20-30 years. You young guys don't know what's what" or "You old guys always think you know better than us young guys. You should hurry up and get to work. No need to walk the whole job first and make a plan, just work." Work smart first, then hard. You will always achieve more that way.
Thank you for the video, going through some tough time not with anything but life. Just wanted a good video to watch and well RU-vid gave me a great option that I needed.
Stan I’m the same way with my own projects around my house…. Seems like I never have enough time to do things properly on my own house so I always skimp out and it bugs the crap out of me!! Then the next time rolls around and I do the same thing all over again…. I wish I could give myself quality workmanship like all of my customers get but I always skimp out on me 😅
LOL... I use the Gate of my landscape trailer which is about 7 to 8 ft wide. It makes beautiful flat surfaces. Especially if you have a 72 inch mower and you're concerned about scalping.
I do the same thing for my final rake, too lightly rake the seed into the soil. People probably laugh when they drive-by one of my sites and there’s a D6 and a couple large excavators sitting there and I’m pulling my drag behind my lawnmower! But it works awesome for embedding the seed. Something I can’t do with the power rake or even my York rake, without burying the seed too deep.
na na na na, 99% of the time i agree with u stan, bit not on this one, 4x8 or 5x8 what ever size chain link with a bar/ pipe at the start and end but not a full frame, need that flex, that bite in the middle and gate is too small, no look at video not enough contact, and u can sort of re grade, or fill in low spots, using a broadcast spreader, amd dragging a fence post, or some thing that wont tear up the grass too bad, the one thing i havent seen in your videos is a tractor, but i guess most of your work wouldnt be practicle, but still love the vid ty
Attitude is half the battle. When you approach from a positive attitude, not only are you accomplishing what you are setting out to do but positivity is infectious and people will take notice and might even be inspired by you. People are watching whether you know it or not.
