Modern film is pretty good clarity. Some carbon and ceramics have a hazy look at a low angle. Dyed stuff is a bit better for clarity you just dont have the same heat rejection quality.

Hey mate, go clear, no tint. I just bought a piece of shit 89 300zx TT, and apparently google knows it's shit, because your interior re-do came up as a recommended video. It's 4am and I've just finished binge watching your project Z. Apparently we bought the same car, because mine seems pretty mechanically sound, touch wood, apart from the clutch. But needs a lot of cosmetic work. So your episodes have been awesome, because I had started to have a few regrets. If anyone is wondering, watching all episodes up till now is about a 12 beer job.

Intake! In my defense, I had watched the first two episodes already on Saturday, so I was really only one short. You said in another comment the spray job was 2500, seems cheap. Had you already done the prep yourself?

Also, you don't want to see my piece of shit yet. She's pretty rough. But she won't be, eventually. After I've sold everything I own to fund this project.. She looks basically the same as yours in ep 1. Without the 2 fast 2 furious interior. Fucked paint, shit wheels (I swear a blind person drove it and parked by feel) and unlike yours, a solid couple of dents in the front left guard. And then there's the shopping cart roller derby she apparently took part in that one time back in the mid 90s after one too many bellini's

15-20% Ceramic Tint! Functionally dark for hot summer days, not totally blinding for night time driving.

I would keep it clear. My favorite color depends on what it is on though. I love dark blues and grays as well as black.

Wish I would’ve seen this before I removed the yellow tint on my ricer civic years ago! I’d go with a 20-35% black tint it’s not crazy dark but still protects the interior bits

Ditch that orange bullshit for some good ol' metho mate. Also if you're after a laugh drop a hand full of flour in the back end of that hair dryer and sit it back on the counter. Be sure to be nearby when it's next used.

leave it clear and then for once clean the glass so the car looks ´crisp´. or change the red lug nuts to blue ones and then do a very light blue film so they kinda match and contrast.

Tint that has turned purple are dyed tint and with the uv that hits the tint over the years turn them purple.
