2014 Chrysler 300c. I'm doing a memorial build in honor of my late wife. I'm going to need some serious sound deadening as I'll be running over 5k RMS in bass. Working with Gately Audio on the system design. Already have Mechman 370a and tons of Sky High Car Audio 2/0 ran. Thank you for the chance to enter! Cheers
'89 OBS GMT400 - Interior panel vibrations/rattles, the Dashboard was the major offender, removed them and used Damplifier and Overkill, made a HUGE improvement!
I have a new to me 2006 Honda Pilot. The road noise is insane in this thing! I would love to strip the vehicle down and install some good sound deader so I can prepare for an audio build in it!
I have Honda Pilot with a relatively expensive audio system built for SQL, and I always have to CRANK the volume when cruising down the highway to get good detail out of my speakers. I have damplifier mats on my doors, which I believe helps with midbass response, but I'm sure luxury liner pro awould make a huge difference with airborne noise. Thanks for the video!
Been using SecondSkin spectrum, damplifier, luxury liner pro and the MLV to tame both of my Hummer H1's interiors. It's a vehicle that has very little factory sound protection, coupled with an extremely loud Detroit diesel 6.5L turbo that is sitting inside the cabin (doghoused), and rides down the road on 37" mud terrain tires in OEM configuration - not to mention the geared hubs spinning away. This stuff does a great job making the truck much more civilized. Need to go ahead and finish my current truck's SecondSkin application... I've made it up to the front seats and just need to finish the job.
I am about to finish my wrangler build with damplifier pro and the spray on as well! It will be a challenge to drown out the road noise from 35” mud terrains
Happy to be the first to comment! I got my 67 Cougar back 43 years after I sold it and it's in a rotisserie going thru a complete restoration in my shop. I've already treated most of the car with your Spectrum Spray on Deadener and can already tell that it is going to be much quieter. Since this is a ground up restoration, I would love to use your other products to help make my high school car from the 70's as quiet as possible (until I step on the throttle)! Keep up the great work.
1969 Chevy C30 Cab and Chassis dually. My sound proofing issue is it has ZERO soundproofing. I have used Damplifier Pro in very vehicle I own, and nothing compares. Subbed and belled.
2005 ext cab Dakota. Build in progress: 2 12s in a custom ported box firing into passenger side back door. Would like to stifle as much vibration from that door as possible
Wow , I absolutely love second skin audio products. I have used it on my family's vehicles and my own vehicles amazing products. So I absolutely hate the noise my yukon makes. I hear rattles everywhere. I would absolutely love to second skin my entire yukon . What drives me crazy is the roof and floors . Making to much road noise and rattles .
Peugeot 206 - overall the issue lies in old audio installation - I've begun to modernise it by making doors stiffer (need to finish them with foam & second layer of mats)
Currently doing a "resto mod" build on my 1988 Jeep Wrangler that's essentially a tin can so all noise is an issue. I'm sure some Spectrum and Firewall would go a long way in that build!
2007 FJ cruiser. Road noise through the floors factory insulation. Rear glass and license plate from stereo build and roof vibrations from stereo build.
2010 Sierra. Been a great truck to me so far, but the noise coming from the B-pillars is driving me nuts. I've done spray-in deadener in the cab as well as MLV and deadener in the doors. I think if I get the B-pillars situated and maybe hit the roof with some sound treatment I'll be in a real good place. I've loved every Second Skin product I've used!
Driving 1962 Chevy Nova 4dr and exhaust noise drives me crazy. Currently have Dampier Pro and Luxury Liner pro on firewall and floor. Looking to finish doors and rear seat
1996 Dakota frame off resto and LS swap with a custom interior and blow through with 4 12’s. It’s gonna need all the help it can get with all types of noise and vibration transmitted through the exhaust, engine and from the panels moving from the subs.
I drive a 2014 Acura Tl. Both the airborne and vibration noise are annoying, But the airborne and road noise drives me nuts! Been following yall for many years now. Learned about Second Skin from Steve Meade over a decade ago, although I haven't been able to purchase anything yet I definitely believe in these products. Can't wait to purchase and enjoy your product's.
I have a 2005 Subaru forester with about 100 lbs of damplifier pro on the roof 😂 2 12” subs, 2300 watts rms amplifier. I hate the hatch noise, but I haven’t tried to do anything about it yet
2012 Subaru Forrester that I just bought needs some subwoofers, but first. I gotta get the best sound deadening in the world!!! Second Skin for the WIN😎
2018 Mazda CX-3 had just a general road noise type of vibe going on. Pulled the wheel well liners out, and lined them, did the floor under the carpet, and as far up the firewall as I could. Made a general, all around improvement!
Setting up a diesel Unimog that has some serious sound intrusions! A lot of it is engine noise but has a lot of gear noise as well. I refuse to use the cheap China made junk on Amazon so hoping I can score some of the good stuff.. Second Skin materials!
I'm doing a big sound sistom in my 1996 chevy tahoe with 2 sundown team 18's on a crescendo BC17k and your products would help me with all the Vibrations and rattling for some better sound quality
I have a Silverado with a blow through. I have a bunch of damplifier pro for rattles. But the airborne noise drives me crazy. Really need the luxury liner for that chefs kiss 😊.
03 hyundai santa fe 2 deaf bonce apocalypse 15s broke metal bracing inside my gas tank, all my roof braces and cracked the pinch welds. Led to a shattered windshield before I fabricated bracing. Only if I would have used second skin in the original install i would have saved myself time and money. As far as airborne noise goes I keep trying to convince myself that it's oem and not from wiring through HD front to rear.... lol
2006 crew cab GMC. I couldnt stand road noises so I went with MLV on the floor. Now I can’t stand the heat. I live in the desert and the roof and doors just get so hot and the truck can’t stay cold.
1996 Land Rover Defender 110 with a diesel engine. All of the noise in the truck bothers me, there is not just one area. But considering I already have deamplifier pro and luxury liner pro in the load area (thanks guys)…engine, transmission, and cabin noise are next to tackle.
My vehicle is a 2023 camry LE which i feel like has no insulation from factory because i have to yell sometimes to talk. I have done my doors and trunk already with dampilifer pro and mega zorbe, now i need to do floor, firewall, and roof to finally be happy
Man, it's an 04 dodge 4x4 with the cummins in it, so its noisy from both aspects. I'd love to drop a couple Savard HiQ 8s in it and upgrade the rest of the speakers.
2014 Nissan Altima. Need to stop the vibration and rattling sound in my trunk and doors for my 2 sundown xv2 10” I need the spectrum liquid sound deadener
1996 Daihatsu Hijet S110P I have folding seats allow me to access my engine underneath. Unfortunately, i get a lot of noise from the engine, even if my seat is latched down.
2003 f250 4wd turbo diesel...... where ISN'T there noise?! lol I get a lot of noise from the firewall/floor/rear cab wall.

2023 Honda Civic hatchback sport. The airborne road noise is unbearable- even by the economy car standard. I'm going to make the interior quiet before making it loud with a SQL-based audio system.
I have a subaru forester running a DC Audio xl 12". I love my system but the car sounds like a tin can! The doors and rear hatch could really use some deadening!
We have a rugged Jeep Wrangler 4-door, equipped with a 2.5 Fox shock lift kit and a set of Nitto Grappler trail tires. However, we're facing some noise issues and want to ensure we can have conversations with the roof off. I'm at a bit of a loss, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
My girlfriend just graduated from nursing school last week and is set to take her licensing exam in two weeks. She has always dreamed of having an incredible Jeep, but the tire noise is pretty rough, even though she still loves it. She does so much for everyone else, so I want to soundproof her Jeep to make sure she's happy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
