The ranked character way is varied. Any character that came out after Frozen will never get an increment in blue tokens via ranked. Meaning someone like Eric will always get a blue token increment of 5 per level and 10 per tier change Vs. Anna that gets 7 blue tokens from platinum to champion where it then increase to 10. As well as, the 20, 30 and such that you get from tier changing. The increment, imo, matters especialy F2P. Also, I think season support boxes are good as the amount of shards you get are usually 4 or more per crew or character. I've had good pulls from Season Support boxes, i've gotten many characters from those, More than half my roster.
You are absolutely right on everything even (Kart Skins). I was not going to buy any (Kart Skins) but I made (ONE EXCEPTION) that was on one kart skin but it was a must for me anyways.
I think you’re overlooking probably the best way to spend tokens, at least in my opinion, that being refreshing racer boost. In comparison to Star up packs, they reward a lot more upgrade coins, at the cost of slightly less shards per token, and that’s not even considering spending tokens when a character you want to invest in is the bonus. If you want to get a character from level 40 to 50, exclusively through racer boost refreshes, it would cost 12.750 tokens, but for that amount you get 85 shards and 81300 tokens, if you level up to 45 during the process. If you have the patience, I think it’ll add up real nice.
I agree that tokens should be spent on unlock packs and star-up packs, basically if it's gonna benefit you in the game then do it is really what it boils down to
I once bought a 550 token for 5 Jumba shards by accident... they were not worth it Also I don't know why theyre asking a lot of tokens than we can get as if they were season coins
I just spent my tokens on disgusts black and gold car skin and her glowing wheels. It looks so good together and was 700 tokens. But cosmetics are my go to right now.
I bought the Beast unlock pack near the end of last season so I could complete his season race node which unlocked Mulan, did her node which unlocked Jumba, which got me just enough medals to unlock Ralph and spent my season box coins on him.
Purchased the Elsa unlock pack for 1,500 tokens. She is needed for 2 nodes for part 1.. and I want to get all the metals needed for Anger. Also I’ve always wanted Elsa. Worth it to me 😅
Epic racers are hard to get from the universal boxes. I know I've been playing since January and I didn't get a single Genie shard through the universal boxes, and I spent almost all my season coins on them. So, unlocking an epic racer you really want through unlock pack is not a bad idea.
Only character I bought personally was Ursula. She seemed near impossible to obtain. Also I wish the rank rewards were varied past 40+. You get literally nothing from Collection rewards and I kinda hate that cuz I was close to unlocking Baloo!
the rank reward needed to be separated from the collection rewards. They literally are only making it so buying anything other than characters is useless because i gain nothing from buying the multiplayer box.
I got lucky the other day. I didn't have Genie and I was 5 shards away from unlocking him. I had 300+ tokens and wanted to buy a support box. The chance of getting Genie's shards is so low, let alone getting 5 shards of him in a single box. I didn't expect anything.. I was convinced that I was getting 2 shards (or 5 if I got lucky) of a common racer. But BOOM!! I got 5 shards of Genie, exactly what I needed 😭😭 I couldn't believe it..
Lucky! Although keep in mind there are a lot of Genie shards in the current season tour (10 in total) so you might have been able to unlock him regardless.

I don't understand how you have so many coins.i am always spending mine. But I only buy vaults and seasons. Feels like this season i got less coins than last season but that may just be the way they changed it with the pods.
