The Best Way to Watch Dragon Ball in Order
When it comes to Dragon Ball there is always a lot of confusion on how to watch the anime, mainly that's because there is a bunch of stuff to watch. So today I decided to bring you a video on what is my preferred order to watch the anime and one that hopefully doesn't make it too confusing. It goes from Dragon Ball all the way to Dragon ball S. Now that super has come to an end. (Up until this point) if I’m watching the DVD versions of DBZ and the Blu-ray Versions of Super how do I implement them? I watch DBZ up until the episode you mentioned and then watch the first part of super, and then back to DBZ until the final episode and then the rest of super after that? Because I know you said that you have to watch all of super and then go back to DBZ but at this point in time the tournament of power is out and concluded and I doubt the tournament of power comes before the end of DBZ. If I’m wrong let me know but if you could give me a quick update on how to watch DBZ and Super following that would be great I’m trying to get this right lmao.

I’m 15 now and I remember when I was 6 years old coming home from 1st grade and running to watch kai, I finished kai then went back and watched z then watched super, and that’s it.

For the first time I watched DBZ when I was 6 years old. It was the first DBZ episode and I watched it until the beginning of namek saga, because it was not all synced in my language. I can still remember the fight between goku piccolo and raditz, it was an epic moment for me then I MISS THOSE DAYS❤❤🔥🔥

Always start with the manga but if your an anime guy that's fine too. But always start with Dragon Ball, followed by Z, and then Super with no movies. Many fans in North America didn't see Ball first and went straight to Z. Then had to backtrack and watch all the stuff from Ball. I know when I was young that is how I did it. Because at 9 years old without any knowledge you would have possibly never known about it unless your friend told you or something like that. Then this is what I call the "alternate storyline" Watch all the movies, except BOG, ROF, and the new Broly movie since they are apart of the main story. And after all the movies from Dragon Ball and Z then you watch GT. I really do feel that after watching the movies GT is a good way to end this "alternate storyline" or timeline whichever you prefer to call it. Anyway this is just my idea of how to view this great series. Another great video and very informative for new viewers of the series. Great job Raf!!

i rather watch dub with everything, i don´t mind sub and if i have to i won´t get annoyed or anything (sometimes it is funny even) but i prefere dub. and now with knoweldge of the manga i can now just point out everything that is wrong in the dub....the only thing i have a problem with is in the dub is that goku,vegeta and gohan are just superhero´s instead of warriors but that is my only grippe.

The first time I was exposed to Dragon Ball was with one of the Funimation single DVD’s, Ginyu Assault, which I believe is the first time the modern in-house cast would come together. It’s funny because the Funi actors are trying their hardest to sound like the ocean cast. So yeah, I grew up with the Fauconer score and Rock the Dragon.

There's a few I would change as far as the Z and Super movies go, and I'd say you can alternatively include Deadzone before going to Z since it oddly enough fits in almost smoothly, as well as Battle of the Gods and Resurrection F in place of the episodes of Super that these cover since it's the same story but shortened.

Yeah, the movies are always tricky. With the Battle of Gods and RF you can skip like 25 episodes. But, the problem with that is that some of the stuff in the movies was retconned in the episodes. But if that is not a big deal for you, then that can save you a lot of time.

Dragon Ball Z Kai, it's a shortened version of Dragon Ball Z with better animation, but Dragon Ball Z Contains more information, so i suggest watching DBZ first then DBZ kai.

Yeah. From what I can remember, the shows themselves were: Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball GT and then Dragon Ball super. Of course with a bunch of movies in between.

TheGamingProZone19 depends on how you view the shows. Some of the movies were in between each specific season, so you might miss a few things if you don’t watch the movies in between. But if your okay with that, sure 🤷🏾‍♀️

Saying that parts are "non-canon" isn't exact. Eider(android 8) is shown in the buu saga once everyone on earth is wished back. Eider is in "Path to power" Goku as a child where the "Red ribbon army" is first noted. And the androids which come along later in the Z sagas...

I have always only read the manga till end of dragon ball Z when I was a kid in the mid 90s. Couple of times no less. Always thinking Buu saga was the best ending for the whole franchise. Then my love for DB went on hiatus for 20years. Now pushing 40, I started to catch up on the anime from Dragon ball 1. Just finished Freiza saga. Some of the fillers and movies are real unnecessary. Garlic Jr, turles, lord slug doesn't really fit in to any timeline nicely. Probably history of trunk and Bardock were the most interesting and essential to the canon. Planning to watch DBS instead of DBGT.

The first time I watched DBZ was in 1999 on toonami cartoon Network and I still have some of the episodes recorded on VHS. I still enjoy watching DB and DBZ to this day and I own many different versions of it.

my cousins used to love dragon ball series and the movies. If I were you I would start with the original Dragon Ball. There you'll understand where most of the characters come from. It doesnt' matter if everyone is talking about super. You can catch up to it later. If you watch everything in order it's an awesome experience.

Can you or someone else name the DBZ Episodes before the movie. My episodes I have it doesn't make sense which is the last episode before the movie. I had episode 86 as "The Last Wish" Episode which is still the duel between Goku and Frieza. I forgot how to watch the movies in order but the one I have it's half Ocean Dub and Funimation dub so the episodes numbers aren't in order.
