Underwater caving is amazing. Water counts as a block, so more ores are exposed. Dig an airblock in the ceiling, no need for doors. Does require at least respiration 3. Also, if you are going for elytra, end cities carry lots of diamonds, as well as great enchanted diamond gear.

Caving underwater is really underrated in my opinion

go to has to be caving. It's also a great bonus when you get them from temples/archeology/buried treasure as well.

Best diamond way, fortune 3 pick mending efficiency unbreaking hoe, ancient city. Farm up all the skulk amd xp and a TON of diamonds will be found. I've never not found at least three full stacks of diamonds in a ancient city.

If you're doing sculk diamond mining bring a stack of wool and some shears (max enchanted if possible). It makes it far less likely the Warden will be a surprise visitor during the quest for diamonds. And definitely bring that Night Vision potion you'd use for large cave mining, too.

underwater caving is the way to go, i always get a scute helmet though, because you can pickup a bucket of water every 10 seconds to keep the water breathing effect going forever, and if i forget to replenish it and lose bubbles (they dont regain with water breathing, just pause during the effect), then i pop down a magma block or find one, or i can just spam the water bucket to regain them. gotta get lucky with the right cave tho

Should be worth noting for the method of taking out Skulk blocks in the ancient city that you can find amazing hoes in the chests all over the city! Every ancient city I’ve been in, I’ve been able to find diamond hoes with mending and all other kinds of good enchantments! Love the channel, keep up the good work!

I’d suggest going up a block or two to y=-57 or -58 if you’re doing branch or trapdoor mining, just so that the blocks you’re looking at have more of a chance to be diamond ore instead of bedrock

I like to grid mine at the bottom, rather than branching out, I mine in a 5X5 grid, 4 high, steadily working outwards, so I'm never too far from the shaft I used to mine down. 5X5 works because of the occurrences mostly come up in a 2X2X2 cube, and I'll run into it or see it along the side of where I mined. Plus, it allows me to find it with less pickaxes. I also mine down using a 3X3 spiral, and then build a ladder next to the spiral once I reach the bottom.

I still think the End City loot rooms are the best for diamond gear, but it is pretty late game (still useful)

I havent had much luck strip/branch mining lately. Caving and underwater caves has been more efficient for me after 1.21

8 out of 10 times while digging a bedrock level, I find that when you find a gravel deposit, by removing the entire deposit, you will find diamonds adjacent to it.

Moss mining is bonemeal positive if you use a composter, so if you can get say 1/2 a stack of bonemeal, you never have to go to any other source. But caving is the best way to find diamonds

I've been digging for hours at -54 for diamonds, i thought it had something to do with being on a server, but people on the server have had no issue finding diamond. I think its a skill issue at this point xd

Not a method per se but mining out a large iron vein can be profitable and get a lot of iron in the process as well. Tuff is easier to break than deepslate as well so it goes a little quicker than branch mining

doing archeology - you can get diamonds from sand or gravel in pyramids, underwater villages, and those hidden archeology sites.

iv been using a mini map a lot lately so what i do is i just ant mine (1x1) till i locate a ancient city and tear thru all the sculk for dias

Potion Enhanced Cave Exploring - 3 potions - Night Vision, Slow Falling, Leaping. You take all 3 and 2 stack of torches, norma/redstones and visit one of the big caverns. To maximize your bouce time, torch as you go marking diamonds with redstone torches.

When I was looking for diamonds in my survival world, I found a treasure map and in the treasure I found one diamond. Then much later, I decided to go caving. I went exploring but I couldn’t find any large caverns, so I ended up jumping into a little crack in the ground. I explored and the crack grew deeper and larger. Then I came across a large cave with lots of iron and I kept going and found a massive cave with lava at the bottom and a floating mineshaft. I used water to get down (I was playing peaceful mode) then I found 2 diamonds. I explored the mineshaft and found lots of ores, including three more diamonds. I now have six diamonds. If you are looking for diamonds, here’s a tip: *jump into a little crack, if you’re lucky it can lead to something big* Also here are my diamonds -> 💎💎💎💎💎💎

I really wish they would've made vaults reusable, just on a longer timer I'm not saying they need to be the best way of getting diamonds, but it'd be nice if it was at least renewable from one block

I just try to strip mine, usually as I lack deepslate early on so it is always a plus no matter if I don't find diamonds

Minecraft Night Vision Tip: Use 1 Minute Tipped Arrow As They can Stack this way you only use what you need and can be used at any time, on top of that last time I checked 64 choseable minutes are better than 8 non choseable minutes. . . This is also better because now you don't have to rush those 8 minutes of a potion . . . Plus you save wood and coal for when you actually need them for later

What do you think of tunnel bores? Cubfan135 (Hermitcraft) did test rounds that he rated. Seems like the tunnel bore is a big winner. They're just a lot of work and maintenance.

I'm a fan of the "Glow Ores" mod, so I'll never miss a ore because I didn't see it. Glow Ore + big cave = Profit.

i hate how they are making diamonds more common but thinking about it it makes sense since you need a lot of diamonds to upgrade your gear to netherite

Unless you want to build structures out of diamonds, I don't really see the point in diamond mining. I get all my diamond armor and gear through villager trading. I find that much easier.

Wattles please pin this it makes it a lot easier for people to find diamonds 1: Strip mining at -59. Optional: and make a huge square to reveal more ores 2: structure hunting, primarily Ship wrecks and Mineshafts deep underground & tricky trial chamber 3: Deep Dark biome sculk mining. Steps: Get a good hoe with mending or unbreaking and then mine the sculk as removing the sculk blocks which reveals a lot of ground and potentially diamonds (also quite a bit of experience) Tip: AVOID, AND I MEAN AVOIDD (or just break) the sculk sensors or screaming shriekers as they can summon the big blue menace and yk what happens next Bonus Tip: Enchant your pickaxe with enchantments like FORTUNE III, Mending, efficiency V, and unbreaking III as they all make the process of finding diamonds WAY easier and faster. 4. Trapdoorin, with this technique, mine 2 blocks in front of you at y level -58, place a trapdoor on the block right in front of you and open the trapdoor which should make you swim in air, after that, mine straight and maybe turn sideways after a while of digging straight. TIP FOR THIS ONE: Have swift sneak on leggings which makes you faster while mining like this. and also have a good enough pickaxe which can keep up with your speed. 5. Tnt mining, go down to -56 or -57 and place a tnt or a chain of em and then light the first one that you place if you're chain tnt'ing on fire and back off, or just light one on fire if you're doing singular tnt explosions. Tip: I dont really suggest doing this unless you want to waste your time, if you do have spare tnt, you can put it to a way more important use which is buy using it in the nether at Y level 15-12, for this one, place a chain of tnt, and then back off and light the first one, this can expose a lot of ancient debris and also blasts more area as nether rack is way less blast resistant compared to deep slate. 6. MOSS MINING. So for this one, you will need yourself at least 1 moss block which can be found in lush caves, for this one, place a moss block down and then use bonemeal on it for it to expand, repeat this until you have a considerable amount of moss covering the ground, after that get out your hoe and break ALL the moss which you just expanded, and you might find diamonds after you break a moss blocks. Basically, this is what he explained earlier on in the video, diamond ores generate 50% more when they have no air exposure, so this way you're placing moss on the ground which removes the air exposure and possibly generate diamodns where you placed the moss. TIP: Have yourself a mob farm which can help you get bonemeal and make the process easier. 7. BIG CAVE CAVING! For "big cave caving" you will need a few things, a spy glass, some scaffolding or building blocks, night vision potion, a pickaxe and thats all you need, for this one, find yourself a cave which is deep and quite large, drink your night vision potion and use the spyglass to find diamonds. TIP: You can also get the fullbright texture pack. LAST BONUS TIP: Get the ore outliner texture pack which makes it WAY easier to see any ore, even ancient debris. Please like this comment it took me 30 mins to make no cap.
