It's only cheating if you have a spouse, yet fall in love with an AI partner. AI music tools? I've never used them, but I think I could figure out how to use them in a "non-cheating" way. And you probably could, too. I understand what you mean, though - using generative AI, and claiming, "I made this song!" and posting it as such. I'd call that cheating... but at the same time, if people want to do that, that's their prerogative.
