Thanks for letting me know the prices of this list in your area Donald, I find it really interesting! You get the Port Charlotte for a great price, I love that whisky too, one of my favourites but here it’s £50 so couldn’t make it into my list today, the Ledaig for us at around that £35 mark makes it an easier choice money wise but for you being the same price, I can totally see why you shoot for the Port Charlotte. I think you should try the wee beastie next! A little more intense than the Port Charlotte with a touch more salty earthiness and tobacco but a fantastic whisky, please do drop in again in the future if you ever try it, I’d love to hear your thoughts 🥃 although a touch of caution, it’s possibly in the middle of the port Charlotte and a laphroaig so maybe not your favourite style but I don’t think you’d be too disappointed. Great value on the islay barley, cheaper than it is here!

Yes I totally understand, I think the Bulleit recommendation is a controversial one because i think it just depends on your taste preferences. For me it works really well but i also can see why it wouldn’t for so many others. Ah I really do too! the ER is lovely for that price tag. Not overly complex but a great relaxed sweet sipper, I think it’s always going to be one on my shelf going forward! Along with the wee beastie 🥃

I am :) I don’t know about today exactly but at the time of filming the video, they were all below £40 🙂 That’s a great price! I think the nose is the best bit on that whisky (smoky10) I could have because it’s really good but I do tend to prefer the Bulleit rye, just has less spice, more sweet with that green tea note so I like it a bit more but still, a great whiskey for the money you’re spot on Pierre!

If it’s at a cheap price I think it’s a great one to pick up if you like the sound of those notes!
