Your Wi-Fi doesn't really matter, your internet connection depends on your modem and what you're paying for. And most connections speeds don't exceed what Wi-Fi is capable of delivering. So non-tech people don't be fooled by this guy this must be sponsored or an ad
@xecyr depends, I'm in Canada and I use bell with linksys pods for ethernet, the linksys pods give low ping in games such as fortnite but are VERY inconsistant

have this exact orbi mesh setup and had pretty much the same results. pay for 1 gbps but was only getting that over ethernet. now i get like 950 mbps on wifi too
@@user-ov2ug7od5g i was a able to get it 32 it could be 30 if i bought it later the 30 offer is over the name of the company is mercusys and name of router is mr50g and if you dont get the exact speed dont blame me edit it goes up to 1.9k and 5ghz is 1200 and 2.4ghz is 600 and btw i think its an chinese or indonesian product
I have a solid brick annex about 20 meters away down the bottom of my garden from my main house. The annex currently does not receive any signal from my virgin wifi router. Would this Orbi system provide signal to my annex that’s 20 meters away?
to simple people if your download and upload low try reset the cpe or router and restart all your devices at your home plus you should turn off all devices as while to prevent over heating , this simple to get better download and upload and less ping, like if you did my steps and your network is better
I went to my sister's house, who rented the modem from XFinity, and I got 1200-1400mbps testing my Wifi. I'm not a fan of paying monthly for a modem, but that was the most ridiculous thing I've seen in my life.
I'm knot a gamer,but would still like to have faster wifi. And Orbi is really expensive,unless you can,find it cheaper anywhere? Or what other mesh,that's faster than 150mbps,could you recommend cheers?
Your download latency is pretty high and your upload is pretty low id talk to ur isp to make sure there isn't any noise in the line or see if fiber is an option in your area
Seeing this video, I just tested my wifi speed on my phone (using wifi6). Got an ez 1.4GB/s transfer rate which easily beats this orbi. The kicker is I'm just using a cheapo $70 TPLink router as an access point. 😅 Edit: He said wifi but what he's really testing is his Internet speed via wireless connection which is mostly dependent on what speed you are subscribed to your ISP. Mine can still do 1Gb speed with the cheapo router/access point. 😅
Best WiFi so I can travel and play my portal ? Hotspot caps out after a couple days and barely home to play console but whenever I do play portal it’s very good ,
Really insane how you changed the test server for the Before and after :D if you internet is garbage it will not improve even with this router PS: ORBI Not That Good
do you even know what a mesh router does? the router is responsible for dispering the internet around your house. it doesn't "change" or "improve" your internet, it increases coverage
@@unimagin2ble Hey my friend my problem is not with mesh network. its his way of testing his first test was done using a Comcast test server , and 2nd one was done using Lumen server, Try it for yourself you'll see :) FYI: im not a hater just love clarify things for people that don't know.
