I agree. Mike Lowry in BB2 was better. He was more believable as a cop. But for serious roles, breaking the typecast...how did no one choose 7 Pounds. I'm glad someone else knows his body of work like that (Hancock was awesome too). Nowadays, there's a bunch of hype whenever a comedian or singer/rapper crosses over. But I don't feel like Will ever got the respect he was due. ESPECIALLY for I Am Legend. For a single person to hold down a whole action movie... FLAWLESSLY?.... I actually got kind of mad, when they laughed at Patrick for choosing it. Like their movies could even compare.

Independence Day is one of my all time favorite movies, but I don't automatically think of it as the best Will Smith movie because even though he has a huge role in it, it's not just about his character's story. Pursuit Of Happiness, Seven Pounds, Ali. Those are some of the best Will Smith movies imo.
