I’ve seen it somewhere else, it’s the best smoke not because you can’t break it, but because it’s guaranteed to land even with very sloppy execution.

Tradeoffs. Pros and cons with all smokes. You are not going to be using this lineup anyways. People that accurately do use window smokes, use instant smoke lineups and wait for the nade, to take fast control of top mid. When they do eventually lineup for a retake or retain mid mid control window smoke they throw it from top mid because by then , no one is still in t spawn. Players are either lurking or waiting around mid for a con or short execute.

The grenade makes a reliable one-way which makes it popular with the common window smoke. Throwing the grenade to your feet would hurt you and not give enough time. This is a good lineup
