I think the main problem with Breach is most people play him too passively in solo queue. I've been playing him like a duelist for a while; flashes for me, aftershock, and stun for helping out the team. So far it's been working well for me. Also, the best Breaches I've come across are all raging bulls.
Yeah me too. In one video they said breach was one of the hardest people to play so it makes sense that people play him badly. When you play aggressive with him it feels like trolling he’s so good
breach doesn't need a buff. he's just a 5 man team agent. you need full communication with breach. on the other hand id say buff yoru fakeout or rework them into a concuss.
Once i choose Sova, i'll stick with Sova. Or, as i like to call him, my little russian Legolas :D no matter how got/bad he seems to fit to a specific map, i pick him anyways :D it's not about him that i loose a lot of game, it's of my bad skills and no experience in fps anyways :D
I played several games on Haven with Jett. The Updraft can be used to hold angles defending all sites. Jett is very good for flanking as well. As the Fragger of my team, I consistently pull up 1-2 kills in Haven with Jett.
I enjoy pretty much to play as cypher at split. it's a nice choice for defending or even attacking rushing through the middle. I can't say too much, my aim just sucks, but it's my highest win rate, not only about agent but map too
QOTD: Jett is definitely the best agent right now, dare I say broken/overpowered. Worst I guess is yoru but even he's kinda viable so maybe there is now worst after those viper yoru buffs. Some would say Skye is currently the worst and needs buffs for her tiger and ult but her flashes pretty good. Sage skye double healer meta pog
Cuz most people in matchmaking have no clue how to play him. They don't use his flashes effectively they don't use his stun plus he requires coordination which is hard in solo q
If you look more good event that agents who said are good in that map are worst like after frist map worst agents all good/bad agents on other maps have --number wtf they do, like this agent is good and you look at the number and see --number you gona be like 🤨
This is just bullshit, if you have a good aim, you can win any map with any agents, its nothing like agents are bad, its depend on player how he use it
In my opinion, Phoenix is actually really good on bind. I guess it's the players who fail to utilize his kit to properly create entry paths for the team. And after the nerfs, Cypher is a better pick over KJ for haven really. With KJ it's difficult to rotate with a peace of mind because her utility gets deactivated after you get out of range. It's difficult to hold flanks as KJ in haven too. Before the nerfs, she was OP tbh. It was surprising to see Brimstone having a higher win rate in Icebox too given how far away the two bombsites are. And for some reason his smokes doesn't cover the entire mid boiler stage. But overall he has more stalling capabilities as compared to OMEN so it kinda makes sense I guess. Tbh Viper is super OP in icebox if you know the proper walls and lineups. So freaking hard to play against her.
@@SOULICHINU on some maps yes, but for Haven Cypher is better which is why he's picked in pro play a lot for Haven. For maps with quick rotation paths KJ is better. And also wider open maps like icebox where Cypher traps don't bring much value.
Being a skye and sage main, I can say that this true. Skye can take the b site in haven easily. With just blinds and seekers she can take it herself. Sage can lock down mid in split and it so helpful when you have a raze teammate. Bind is not really for phoenix, it is really open. I actually find sage op in ascent. When i dont use sage on icebox my cousins just leave me lol
Some of these characters arent bad, but they need people who want to play the role. And team coordination of course. Its easier to play with raze than breach... or sage over viper, etc etc
Breach is not a bad agent but he’s just difficult to play, for a player like me who likes to control the while I like to play breach and brimstone cause they both can slow down enemies and if your a mastermind you can plan and predict their movements by using certain abilities.
Unpopular opinion: phoenix is the best duelist in game especially for solo q. His ult is S tier (confirmed by pros) , he has flashes that are very hard to counter when used properly , his wall makes entryfragging easy and his Molly is good for healing and stoping pushes. Phoenix provides way better utility to his team as compared to Jett / Reyna
@@arthdaware05 jett is better if ur simply better because ult is easy 1 tap with no recoil and there is a lot of movement. low elo players have 0.001 sens and cant swing for life so jett is pretty good

Imo, there are agents that are more potent to be op (like Jett, even tho she was considered trash in the beta, from what I recall) and those who are considered bad and not viable (Viper before buffs, and Yoru now - then Dixuun and Red* are antering the chat). Like, Jett can be meta and such, but I-just-don't-get-her. Like some agents are considered objectively good, but that doesn't mean that just picking them would make you a good player. Same with playing those objectively "bad" ones. Personally I'm a Yoru main and even if he is "bad" he is my personal best. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Personally I like his kit, and don't pay attention to pro meta because it's another dimension compared to ranked, so doesn't have any influence anyway for me. Just personally I think people are not into mindgames as Yoru is allowing them to, so he is not for everyone. Sometimes I think it's about some agents being new in already "stabilized meta" so everyone gives them a try, but most are going back to their previous main (remember how KJ and Sage were worse than Cypher? KJ is starting to have her reign just now, months after release, same with Skye). Popularity, skillfloor and ceiling are also a big factor, imo. Like Raze, Jett, Phoenix are really intuitive: that makes boom, that makes flash, fire is hot and are more mechanical (while Reyna is all about shooting so she is even more, but imo less intuitive if you are new). So their skillfloor is quite low, but mastering Jett or Raze's mobility is higher. So because they are popular they have a bigger statistical sample. While Yoru and Viper on the other hand require/required (because Viper is now meta) a different approach than other agents in their class. Both are more about mindgames and outsmarting the enemy, lurking, etc. Making the game go by your own scenario. So their gameplay can be less appealing if someone like the fastpaced play. And because of thath they have smaller sample, most of those games were "trying out" ones, and when the character didn't click, performance on them were bad, so there is a lot of losses, even if they have a smaller playerbase that can go wild and carry with them. Same issue with Breach and Skye, they are a bit slow in their own skillusage, so coordination (realy rare on ranked without premade) so even if they are strong and good characters it's hard to excel on them alone (people sometimes even don't want your help and drypeek ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) so again a lot of samples but really really little good ones where people know how to pace their play. While on Sova you can a bit better utilize on your own kit. Get info for yourself, peek after own dart, because you have time to reposition for it. * I know that ethos is/were playing Yoru often, but imo, he doesn't utilize his kit as good as Red, who is using it more and does it more efiiciently/creatively; ethos has wild aim, but with that he can rock on every agent, and my point is to mention someone who is mastering certain agent in their skillusage and making this kit shine, and imo Red has the cookie in that case
I was just trying to unlock breach to play on icebox because I main cypher and well, worse win rate than yoru. Guess I will just need to choose another agent 🤡😅
Sova is the best agent hands down. No other agent fills his role. Brimstone is probably the worst agent. All of the other controllers do what he does, but better. And his stim beacon is pretty useless.
Just saying... sova has a 70% win rate on icebox vs teams that just rush mid... cause if they're stupid like that then they why not recon mid every damn time and clean 'em up.
Out of all the comments I've heard about Breach being a braindead and free elo agent, him being one of the worst winrate agents all maps aside from Yoru is quite ironic.

Breach is interesting because there's not that many people playing him, so if you land agains one you can get a little confused about his playstyle, but coordination is the key to play with him
I think if they made it so Breach's flashes didn't effect his team mates, it would make him a bit for viable for solo queue. But, that might be a bit too overpowered.
As a Viper main, my hatred for Haven is even more justified. As for Breach though, not a lot of players (including me) can reliably execute his moving flash combos (either playing too passive or wrong flash placement).
