I've had to do a backup of my books to Storygraph because of Goodreads messing up. It's been happening for a few years now for me. I see a lot of complaints about Goodreads messing up and people asking about other reading/logging apps. I'm bad at series too. They intimidate me. 😅 This year my goal is to read as many complete series as I can that I physically have with me which is 7.
@fatimasajid1026 can you reset it? I use both now to log because of Goodreads. What I don't like about Storygraph is that it sets the log date a day ahead so I always have to pay attention to that and than go and change it.
I love these types of videos it’s so fun to see where the things you read fell among the overall ratings! I’d be happy to watch a new one with all your reads
I gravitate towards more emotional books, a lot of my favourites are emotional reads! As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow is on my TBR, I'd love to get around to it this year ♥
Nice video, as always! 🥰 Speaking of ratings, I’m curious, it the french speaking bookish community, the ratings are usually 1 to 5 stars and « coup de coeur » which is like, a step higher. So it tends to change the rating system. I’ll give 5 stars more often as a « this book was very very good but not a coup de coeur ». And then i’ll give a 5 stars + coup de coeur as is « Wow this book is a favorite, it surprised me in the best way possible and I love it so much! » Is there an english equivalent? ☺️
Some people will just use "6 stars" to designate a favourite book that is even better than what they've given 5 stars, but I don't know how popular it is.
