The Best & Worst of Batgirl 

I remember as a kid you could tell by the opening credits if it was a Batgirl episode. Always made it better.

:-( There is nothing but the best of Batgirl. She remains my favorite part of the show. RIP, Yvonne Craig.

In the USA Network's "Back to the Batcave", Adam West and Burt Ward were reminiscing about how the show's ratings began to plummet in the third and final year. West sadly opined, "Not even Yvonne Craig in that skin-tight leather suit could save us!"

That number one moment for Batgirl is really the number one moment for Alfred! He nimbly dodges Penguin's umbrella blade and then dukes him out. Batman: "Alfred, what took you so long?" Alfred: "Sorry, sir, I had some bird trouble on the way." ROFL!!

Just heard the very sad news that Yvonne Craig has passed away...thank you so much for making Batman such a great TV show..the films today are fun..but your 1960's TV series is and always will be the definitive version...hope you are sharing a couple of cocktails with Burgess today & reminiscing...RIP

As a child, this show had me so confused. Whether I was in love with Catwoman- Julie Newmar or Batgirl-Yvonne Craig. 😜

I know it made for an interesting story line (to have Alfred know both identities and not tell), but I always thought that Alfred should have got Bruce, Dick, and Barbara together and revealed who everyone was. It would have made for some interesting interactions as civilians.

Still love the fight effects, "Bam" "Pow" recently saw Batman Harley Quinn where they brought it back. "Break", "Bleed", "Ow my balls!"

Met her at a comic con a few years back sitting next Erin gray of buck Rogers fame. Both ladies were both stunningly beautiful then. Rip Yvonne Craig.

I was always so angry when batgirl didn't appear on the show, when I was a child watching it growing up.

When I was a kid watching these shows back in the 60's I didn't think to appreciate the beautiful girls they had on a regular basis. Now I watch these and ...WOW! Holy hard-on Batman!

Yvonne Craig=one of the best "waist down" you will ever see (and only 5'2). Julie Newmar owned this category, lowering that belt on those hips did us young males all in. Waist up (Yvonne) was nice too, that black one piece bathing suit (with the killer V net action) she wore at Gotham Point is still burned in my memory bank, man how I had wished for that black bow to fall the fuck off as a kid.

She was definitely HOT in the 60's.

Some of the Batgirl episodes were okay, but most were awful. It wasn't her fault. When she showed up was when the show went to a once-a-week format and stopped doing the cliff-hangers. It was hard to tell an entire story for all three of them in just 30 minutes minus commercials. Production value took a nose dive with the budget too. Look at some of the sets. They look like they were built to go on the stage with black curtains as backdrops. I know it was supposed to be "campy" but not look dirt cheap.

There was no worst of Batgirl.

RIP Yvonne Craig. She passed away today from cancer at age 78.

Nice compilation. When I was a kid, I used to live for Batgirl when they aired the repeats. It was always a special treat for me. Then when her 26 eps were over, I would get depressed....Childhood memories...Yvonne Craig remains one of my idols.

I really liked this compilation! For some of the earlier comments, Catwoman was portrayed by the late Eartha Kitt, who was MUCH better than Halle Berry. I really liked Yvonne Craig as BG, although I do think more time should have been devoted to better scripts rather than merely introducing a character because it threw off the Batman and Robin chenistry. Robin became dumber and I didn't like that.

The show should have gone on more than three seasons. Plenty of villains to use and heck, maybe a season finale where Batman, Robin and Batgirl accidentally discover each other’s secret identities.

Apart from the obvious features, I loved her laugh.

I get the idea, but the worst moments were awesome when she was on; even as a librarian calling her father, " Daddy"! Sorry to hear about her passing.

So Batgirl's weaknesses are sleeping gas, strong men grabbing her arms and lack of awareness...

Funny how in Worst Batgirl Moment #1, Penguin's knockout spray dropped Batgirl but, had no effect on his henchmen despite their being in the path of the spray.

They could have just had her just standing on screen for the entire show and I would have watched it.

I was blessed enough to get an email from Yvonne Craig right before she died. I had thanked her for her work in Hollywood and she replied: "Thank you for the kind words." She passed away about a week later. A very beautiful lady.

Detriment or not, Batgirl DID add more fun and camp to the show, and don't underestimate Yvonne Craig. A trained ballet dancer (Ballet Russes, I think), she did all her own stunts, and truly "took no prisoners! THANKS for posting this entertaining compilation!
