lucas you uploaded at the perfect time, i just finished my shift at the salt mines and joe pyfer asked me to come for some salt water with him and the boys at the spitoon, watching this while walking there.
@@Omalleyschair I don't want you to like Izzy but you are just the definition of miserable😂😂😂sad life bro No credit for like a top 20 greatest MMA fighter of all time?💀Ok
he had one eye. I recently had an eye infection and wore a patch for 2 weeks. you wouldn't believe how much that handicaps you. Hitting the bag was weird as fuck. Now imagine going up against a killer like that who moves and hits you 😂 Mikey B is a beast with balls of steel.
@@FreshFowkzsame dude I had to wear an eye patch for 2 days due to eye injury and bro you instantly realize how much perception you lose with only having 1 eye
Hey Lucas thanks for the upload it’s nice to watch your vids after work. I just imposed my will at my lifeguarding job but I’m really tired after standing all day with my wobblestone cobblestone knees. Some guy at work tried to swing big meaty hooks on me today but I was bobbin and weaving luckily, didn’t wanna get hit on my chinny chin chin and do the Irish jig. I was trying to get this old man out of the pool at closing time but he was a bit of a ploddy man plodster who was taking forever 🙄. Hard day but life isn’t peaches and creamville I suppose. About to eat a sandwich I made because I’m a crafty vet in the kitchen.
He is very engaging man. Some of his takes are pretty dumb but he somehow makes one want to respond to them. I thought he would blow up when he first came out and still kinda do. He embodies the more playful side of the average MMA fan (eg animal tiers) whereas Guru embodies the angry side
@@davidng8870 he is blowing up tbh. Everyone knows who he is in any ufc comment section and he’s gained like 50k subscribers since the start of 2024 which is kinda crazy for a guy who just talks to a camera
I’m as big an Izzy hater as the next guy but cmon man Yoel and izzy do not have similar resumes Izzy is a former champ with multiple title defenses regardless of how boring they were
Tavares, brunson, Kennedy, machida, jacare, weidman, rockhold, robbed against whittaker costa and adesanya. Even if you disagree he was robbed that is what Lucas thinks and it makes sense from that perspective
I hate how Lucas is pushing this narrative that Leon scrapes by . He pretty much dominated everyone he beats. It may not be by finish , but when he wins it’s very clear that he won
@@TheOutBackAsshatYT he’s a nice guy who minds his business , takes care of his family , has a sense of humor . And USUALLY puts on good performances , this agenda to hate on him is really weird to me
@@xtcy5922 I don't get it either he's almost got as many KOs as Wonderboy and I've never seen someone call him boring I will agree he's had some boring fights but he's always one of the most skilled technical strikers there is and if you can't find the beauty in his skill pick a different fucking sport
There’s a difference between a clear win and domination. Ilia vs Emmett id domination. Volk vs Max 3 is domination. Max vs Kattar is domination. Jones vs Smith is domination. You could even dominate and be ‘boring’ like Aljo vs Kattar or Sandhagen vs Font Leon’s style is more so fighting to your level and slightly outdoing you rather than complete shutouts. Last time Leon really sauced someone up was against Nate though unfortunately people forget cuz of the end
i’m sorry i know it wasn’t that fun but the vettori fight was a solid performance. izzy wasn’t really affecting him much but he was landing and there were some cool moments in it. i will stand by that, if you watch it back with an open mind it’s objectively a pretty decent performance, albeit against a very average opponent but hey. marvin was the rightful challenger.
Yeah but he could have done more If Jared and Rob beat up Vettori like that, I am very sure that Izzy can do the same, if not even worse things to him He just decided to play it safe tho, sadly
if Stricklands worst performance was costa then how good is this man. bro shut him down with 0 adversity in a clear 50-45. a guy Whittaker even went 29-28 with
Damage is the biggest scoring criteria. Jon took Thiago’s ACL, MCL, PCL, and Mensicus in Multiple legs and you’re telling me he didn’t do damage. The doctors literally didn’t know how Thiago was still standing.
ur acting as if all of those injuries arent in the same place in the body from one singular kick lol. u dont automatically win a fight cus ur opponent tore their acl😂
@@originaltruths2305 It wasn’t from one singular kick, it was from repeated kicks. Thiago would have had a lot less lifelong damage and a quicker recovery had he not kept fighting. Also only one leg was damaged in the second round.
I just watched round 1 Izzy v jan, jan landed about 3 low kicks and 2 body kicks in round 1, why did u lie here on camera and say jan outstruck Izzy in the first 3 rounds easily? Why do you hate Izzy so much? I want to get a reply from you admitting you was wrong.
I very much appreciate the content you are making to tide us over during This Great MMA Drought of 2024.... These are very tough times that we are currently in but fingers crossed the MMA God's will bless us SOON!
@@Ziyech1 How is a perfect baited set up that you can literally see during his training vlogs a fluke? I think Pereira is a better striker but nothing was a fluke here, that was just a high IQ move
Because it was a KO and not complete outclassing Volk - Max style Also doesn't help that he got smoked badly by Sean right after but his fans will tell you he "wasn't himself" 😒 By the way the guy who said the 3 wins were flukes is straight trampolining on Izzy's 🍆 lmao
seeing the title of this video, i immediately thought of Michael Bisping. His second fight with Dan Hendo being his worst winning performance, and the second fight against Luke Rockhold being his best and all time winning performance
I'd disagree with the Topuria performance being a worst performance, especially if you say Whittaker's win over Romero was a "best performance" lol. They're both great performances where you learn the most important intangibles about a fighter. Especially for future picks, it's the most important win. You find out, getting dropped and hurt won't make him hesitant in the game plan, and you find out he has a chin. These performances let you know the difference between if we're dealing with an actual good fighter, or if we're looking at a Johnny Walker. Someone who you just saw "good performances" and everyone thinks he can beat Jon Jones because he seemed so good before meeting adversity.
Did you even try and do research before this video or just hope you remembered everything, without doing my research I can tell you,Jan didn't 50-45 Jacarre, it's was a split decision 48-47 48-47 47-48, Vettori didn't win a round on Izzy on any of the judges scorecards. I'm sure there's a lot more you got wrong in this vid. do your research Tracy, you don't just know everything
u need to rewatch that costa vs whittaker fight it wasnt a war outside of the wheel kick and a couple jabs costa didnt land sht it was pretty 1 sided for whittaker
"maybe have izzy top 20 all time" guy actually hates izzy i guess he forgot izzy was up in the scorecard in the first fight and put potan on a ventilator the next guy has good takes sometimes but his izzy takes are brainded izzy is easily top 10 or atleast top 15
Great video as usual the only thing I disagree with is Justin gaethje being khabibs biggest win. Dustin had success striking. Justin was getting drowned in striking 30 seconds into the first round. Then got smashed easier than Dustin did. Also choosing what submission to do is extra style points
Volk vs Makhachev was a superfight for the ages. In boxing a fight like this would've taken 5 years to set up, in the UFC it was done right after the title win. Love this game.
I understand why people say Strickland vs Costa was boring but he destroyed him. Wasn't even close he knocked him down three separate times and it was like he was playing a game on easy mode.
