@@BeefKirky better comunity, tickets on death, less choke points, less chance to use automatic weapons, great tank sim and better audio. The flaws are graphics and need experienced players to be on critical roles.
Might have been peak gaming adrenaline for me back in the day. It's all been downhill from one round I had, first time I ever got the semi-auto G43 sniper, I held a little tower looking down onto a right-hand intersection for what felt like forever before dying. I'm sure it was more like 7 minutes lol but it didn't matter, I was probably 14.
@@KevinBYee I think games just get less exciting and fun the more you play them, especially if you grew up playing them since childhood. I don't have much fun in most games anymore. The only ones I still have any adrenaline on are hardcore combat flight sims like DCS and IL-2 GB
@@pppppffffffmmmmmmmnn Might be something to that idea. All I play in my old age is ARMA. And and admittedly helldivers 2, but thats a non-stop dopamine loop regardless with the amount of ordnance you get to call in so i guess it still kinda fits.

I mean you could be thankful that the studio bought it and is taking of the game. Otherwise it would die 100%. Now it got a chance. Im one of the people that started playing it a few months ago, only because i play squad. And between both of us "Squad44" is not the worst name in my opinion

An amazing Eastern Front set of game you can play is Talvisota - a total overhaul mod of rising storm 2 vietnam. (It's on steam!) It's amazing, and if you try it I hope you love it
This sort of thing makes me miss PC gaming! Would love Squad 44 to come to console, as I can't see myself ever going back to sitting at a desk gaming, especially when I'm at a desk for work. So will just have to enjoy HLL and Squad 44 videos for the time being
2:51 such a tangent but I just got a pair of $150 golf shoes for 45$ at Ecco shoes cause they had a clearance sale I was able to get the BOA lace system which alone in my opinion is worth the $50 as is. Highly recommend checking if you have a local one.

Why would you say "hopefully"? They literally already said they're adding the eastern front as well as the Pacific theater down the line...they're already working on it

@@jellyman7255 Oh weird, me and everyone ive played with says they have better performance than squad. Maybe its one of your systems settings sabotaging it? But i genuinely cant think of how. Its different for everyone i suppose.
I think Squad 44 def runs worse than squad. Back when I had my old pc I eventually had to stop playing it because it would lag so much. Squad would only do it on major explosions. Now with my new pc neither are a problem. It was my processor holding me back so maybe squad 44 is more intensive there.
20,500 soviet tanks (15% of which were superior t34s and kv1s) destroyed by 3000 german tanks in only 6 months in 1941. There is no clearer example of the paramount importance of a skilled crew in combat. If only they had MoiDawg in one of those t34s.
To be fair the Russian officer class had been destroyed in the purges and the early German invasion success. That 20,500 is not all KV and T34 but made up of thousands of BT tanks as well. The T34 had a two man turret and no cupola with periscopes so was badly outclassed by the optics and the superb training and combat experience of German tank crews…
@@PerfidiousAlbion1815not to mention the quality control (or lack thereof) at a specific factory that produced roughly half of all wartime T34s. The design is decent and post war tanks were highly praised for their performance and longevity, but corners got cut heavily during wartime. If Germany had held out another year Russia would’ve run out of tanks at the rate they were losing them vs production.

Ive been playing squad 44/post scriptum for the past year or so and its been dead for ages so all these “squad 44 is better people” are either full of shit and have just jumped on the band wagon since hll has shit the bed or theres server ghosting.
red orchestra 1 was the last game i bought as a boxed game. it contained a cd with steam on it and a product key. that was it. played ro1 for 10 years in clans and what not. this is scratching this itch somewhat
Every time I see Sq44 I want to cry. I play regular squad on daily basis. I really like it. But there is so much to improve and OWI spends money and resources, made from squad, on this half-dead project of another ww2 game. Even though its great, OWI should've put much more attention at their main alive game.
They have enough resources to do both. HLL is an arcade game, there is room in the market for a semi realistic WW2 milsim. This game has a lot of potential and is the best on the market for this sort of experience. So please, keep crying
OWI aren't even the main developers of this. Kind of selfish of you to only care about the game you like, and wish that others' experiences worsen for your personal gain. Quite immature.
Unfortunately this game is good as dead ( I love it and used to play it all the time). They had their chance when it changed names and they not only took too long to release an update but it wasnt enough to get people interested again. Why would anyone pick this less polished game over say Hell Let Loose.
Who cares if it's 'dead' no one stopping you from playing it there are always servers to play on. compare a PS trailer to that Ai generated Hll trailer and you tell me which one is more polished.
