You found alot of hidden gems. Candide or optimism is by far the most underrated voltaire book. It feels quite simple while you read it but it is unbelievably profound. Sry for my English and nice job !

Hi. It's (EK-logz). It's great that you have some Norton Critical Editions. I don't think they get enough attention. I have NCEs of Moby Dick, Utopia, Paradise Lost, Beowulf, and Blake's Poetry and Designs. Their awesomeness enriches my soul.

I would love to get more books in the oxford world classics editions but yeah they are so hard to find 😔 (and also I’m glad you loved We Have Always Lived in the Castle!!)

i feel that! i get why they're more expensive and more difficult to get but why?!😩 that's why i usually use any excuse i can find (birthdays etc) to "allow myself" the extra cost😅 (and yes, i was flabbergasted by how good the book was and want to read everything and anything shirley wrote🤭)

I'd like seeing your thoughts on inferno once you've read it all. It sounds like a very intimidating read.

i would definitely be interested in doing that! i might do some kind of "why you should read" video after finishing the entire trilogy🤔

The classic introduction ramblings throughout are the best lmfao, my reader friends really don't acknowledge them much at all but omg they can add so much necessary insight to the book! Amazing selection of books here overall :D Also i completely agree with the OWC > Penguin take i feel so validated 🫡🫡🫡
