Cummings was definitely channeling NICOLAS CAGE AND JIM CARREY. Loved his performance.

I think you're massively confused. She wasn't in charge and it has nothing to do with "toxic alpha men", neither did she sound excited about 8 more being dead -- She was worried. Anyway, she was a participant like Jim Cummings' character who got her own card, for which there is literally a scene where she receives a purple envelope with her name on, which she then opens and also checks "Top" and "Dom" on the spot (Jim Cummings' character did it later). The only question that remains is who did she have sex with -- if at all -- because Jordan is apparently the only one who hasn't paid the money to discover their "soulmate". The title was also an afterthought to the whole production, so I don't know how much you want interpret into it, but since the writers keep saying it is a critique of social media and their accountability/cancel culture, you could spin a few theories. For example, the idea is that Doms and Subs are the best matches for each other, but Caroline and Jordan both checked 'Dom'. That's not supposed to work out according to popculture, but Caroline is a true 'Dom' who isn't insecure and compromises, while Jordan is insecure, which is akin to a Beta. Jordan's progression is going from being insecure and a sleazy cowardly lying dirtbag, to being OK with himself, being confident and goal driven, to transforming into an equal for Caroline at the end, an actual 'Dom'. So the 'test' could be if he's actually a beta/sub after all, if he can't overcome his insecurity during the journey. That's also why the deaths might be happening, because the relationships adhere to the combination of Dom+Sub and those relationships with an insecure emotional beta just end that way, even if the appearance might suggest that they would be 'Doms'. That's also what the scissors symbolize at the end -- will he be a beta and attack her, or will he be an alpha by taking responsibility and compromise. Or, you know, it's just a play on words because it's about beta testing an app.

Reminds me of Jim Carrey as a vampire lol.
