there is a fallout shelter 2. but its not released in west. It actually is better than the first game and has very improved graphics. Its called "fallout shelter online" and is available in China.
I don’t understand why Bethesda is allergic to making the games we ask for Edit: To be clear, I like bethesda. I just don’t follow their choices in how they prioritize certain games over others
Remember kids, remaster means that only the paint will be changed. Remake means that the rusty metal underneath will be swapped for brand new before applying a fresh coat of paint. Remake > remaster Well, unless you want to replay the same old broken quest chains but this time at 144Hz.
@@ThePudin124I still keep my PS3 around to play NV, I clear the cache every time I boot it up but still run into the occasional problem. I really wish I could play FO3 on PS5 though, I don’t have a physical copy and it’s the modern Fallout that I’ve played the least by far. I have no idea why they chose the base version for PS streaming instead of the game of the year edition, it’s so fucking stupid. I guess if they did remake 3 or NV it’d be a Microsoft exclusive anyway.
The fact that Bethesda was _expecting_ to get the remasters out the same year as Elder Scrolls 6 implies the projects would have been outsourced to a different studio. If that deal survived the Microsoft merger, it could make sense for it to stay on track while Bethesda has been delayed with Starfield.
History teacher here: the year 1 (0 doesn't really exist) is at the height of antiquity (think Roman empire). The European Middle Ages refers to the period 500-1500 A.D. With the dark ages being 500-1000-ish. Just had to add this to inform.
@@skyriminspace yes, look at it this way: when 1 BC ends, the year that will be known as 1 AD starts. It's like a baby that is '0' is actually living his first year of life.
@@troopersteve2992Todd has nightmares about the hours and hours of video essays made about the absolute masterpiece that is new Vegas, but then he wakes up drenched in sweat and remembers he has oxhorn and juicehead to keep him safe 🧸
That is an absolutely deranged request and I'm not sure you understand why. But anyway, placing faith in Bethesda to not somehow screw it up is a tall order considering how miserable Starfield was.
I would love to see them re-package Fallout 76 content as DLC for Fallout 4. Something similar to Gun Runners Arsenal, with weapons, outfits, armor, power armor, and settlement objects from Fallout 76 for Fallout 4.
Would love that. Or even also seeing them add more guns.. and also better yet.. update it so all the new weapons and the ammo can spawn in the base game And even spawn on some enemies
Yeah, with all the flack 76 got at launch it really did add some great improvements upon the Fallout 4 gameplay mechanics, etc. (My favourite is the little possums lol)
I actually went back to FO4 when the remaster happened but stopped shortly thereafter because I kept getting pulled out of it due to all the QOL stuff they changed in 76 so I'd love them to update FO4 to work with 76 code and function. The building system is also so much more improved with way more varied models that I would kill for in FO4 even if you could only use the prefabs and stuff you bought in 76. The little stuff like how they changed how outfits and armor worked and the ability to pick up your power armor in 76 add back in a lot of tedium when you go backwards.
@@jacobbecklehimer7781 Nah with the new update despite mods breaking.. they improved the base game a little bit.. made it more fun The steam app statistics speak for themselves.. but also again that was the problem with fallout 4 as a whole.. lack of content and weapons and overall lack of everything
I don’t care about their business model. I crave an era when it was exciting to play their major titles. I often close my eyes and remember the days of Gears 1-3 and Halo 3, Fable 1,2,3, etc. The 360 era was all about amazing titles with compelling narratives and multiplayer. That the return to form we need
*someone whispers a rumor in private to a friend about a Bethesda leak Juicehead: HUGE GARGANTUAN IMMENSE LEAKES ARE GETTING CRAAAAAAZY! CHECK OUT MY SPONSOR!
Except it'll be a rushed mess. The people who worked on new vegas are long gone. Obsidian isn't good anymore. They may actually put choice into the game though
@@georgetrinc starfield's engine was fine. It wasn't laggy at all. That's one of the only things worth praising about that game. People are excited for more bethesda content yet everyone hated starfield. That's not just a fumble, they've been declining for years
I mean if you have a PC, download Viva New Vegas, add texture mods, animation mods, and the mod that restores all cut content and you're already there, and I'd bet it'd be 100% more stable than anything bethesda could release these days.
What kills me is they put all that effort into Starfield knowing they were going to make a show for fall out and don't even have a current new game of fall out to back it up
What sucks even more is that even this late, it doesn't seem like they are actually trying to start on a new fallout game. Just POSSIBLE rumors of a REMASTER of game that came out like a decade ago...
@@michaelkean5969……. Skyrim and Fallout 4 have more quality of life features because they were made on a different engine 🤦♂️. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are old and out of date, they need to be completely remade from the ground up on a new engine to be worth receiving a new title. Otherwise what’s the point of not just playing the originals with mods?
@@Trevin1441 it is for me. It's called Misinformation. When you say something that isn't true and you know it's not true, that's called LYING. When you say that Lie to other people and claim it as truth, that's called SPREADING MISINFORMATION. We have it bad enough already, don't add to the fire. It's Bethesda, whatever they pump out will be garbage anyways if their recent games are anything to go by
I’m glad they tightened up on leaks. I knew the storyline and setting for FO4 before they even announced it. By the time 76 was announced we had no clue what was going on when the colored Please Stand By screen came up. It was cool to not have leaks again.
Nice to see that you are still playing Chivalry. You actually got me into it when you mentioned it on a stream when it won multiplayer game of the year.
People that get upset over video games not being exclusive to there favorite toy and get mad that companies are being more consumer friendly, are actual children
Well if all companies played by the same rules then i don't think anyone would be mad dude. The fact some companies do this, and others don't,makes it feel like a cop out. Especially when games go exclusive at launch on a PC storefront...cough Epic cough...
Yeah, I'm confused on why people got upset about starfield potentially being on other platforms, but I'm pc master race so all of them seem stupid to me/I know nothing about all that
I still want to know more about The Outer Worlds 2 that’s rumored to come out in 2025. Content creators also are bad, like seriously social media and content creation are ruining society.
@@FrankRiverfreither that or they’ve been mainly focusing and giving the attention to Avowed before The Outer Worlds 2. The Outer Worlds 2 has been worked on before the first game released. But still excited for The Outer Worlds 2, along with Borderlands 4, a possible Titanfall game, and a new fallout game.
I don't see a FO3 remaster ever happening. It doesn't make sense, unless it's just a texture pack, maybe a next-gen update. Bethesda has no Finacial incentive to spend a ton of time and money remaking a game when they have the next elder scrolls, next fallout, and are likely working on another Doom product. I'd love to have fresh FO3 but I'd rather have a new FO and Bethesda knows that's what people would want. FO3 was great, and is good as is, upgrading it in a significant way would take too much work to be a financially sound decision.
This might be a horrible idea but, why not having it so Bethesda basically puts something out to give more manpower and resources to the fallout mod teams that are making basically new game in fallout 4 engine, so basically they get fully paid, they basically have a way to have a lot of games out, and the mod community basically gets more love The downside I see is the corporate part, and the hope is is that the teams will be allowed to just continue to do as they please but make what they are doing into a fully game
I was just texting my friend telling him about texting the vault TEC number and he suggested that maybe it could be the pipboy preorder. I thought it could sound like a possibility.
I have absolutely zero interest in an Indiana Jones game and making a licensed of a franchise that had its best movie two decades ago is the biggest misfire since the Gollum game
I believe that FY24 means "Fiscal Year 24", and NOT just 2024. It's the 24th Fiscal Year of the company. WIkipedia says that "Bethesda Softwarewoks" was founded in 1986, BUT, it also says that "Bethesda Game Studios" was founded on "2001", but does not specify the exact date. So, FY24 could mean a period of one year between 2025 and 2026. Don't know if it starts at January or at the month of the foundation's anniversay. So you must add at least one or two years to the dates of the leaks, but this is also not considering any possible delays.
There’s a parallel universe out there where Bethesda chose not to make 76 and Starfield and instead went straight to making Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5…man how sweet it must be for the gamers and the fortunes of Bethesda and Xbox in that universe. If only there were people saying that that was what they wanted…oh wait.
There's a parallel universe where they made Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5 instead and still fucked up, least they fucked up with 76 and Borefield and didn't completely screw up their main bread and butter.
Honestly as someone who played the Beta/Beginning of 76 and has also returned recently, it’s got a LOT better and is a decent fallout game now. Yeah there is still some shitty MMO features like the repetitive events etc but it is enjoyable and really worth giving a go (if you find it on sale) The new map expansion should be good and the new main quest line is actually decent. Also as for Starfield, I feel like it’s Bethesdas Cyberpunk. Give it another year and it’ll be where it should be.
I feel really really bad for the people that have been making the actual Remake of Oblivion for YEARS now, it's supposed to come out in '25/'26, and Bethesda really should just have supported that project instead of wasting resources in their version of a remake/remaster. Skyblivion is a 1000% better in every way. Bethesda should put all those resources towards changing and overhauling Starfield.
It's been 13 years since an Elder Scrolls game released, and the fact that Bethesda doesn't care makes me angry and disgusted. It's one thing if they just ignore the franchise, it's another when they announce Elder Scrolls VI in 2018 and then pretend it didn't happen for the next six years. One positive thing that's come from all of this blackpilling since Starfield released: I am finally, officially, completely immune to hype regarding anything that Bethesda releases in the future.
I say again, it would make sense if Bethesda handed over the fallout ip to another studio, especially with how hot the show was,and fans are not gonna be satisfied with just updates on existing fallout games, they want a new main fallout game, but they dont want to wait 15 or 20 plus years for a new fallout game, and that's after the new elder scrolls gets released.
So, there is one fallout thing that fits that date, which is Fallout Celebration at Goodsprings. This makes me suspect Bethesda will actually have an involvement in the event this year, since it’s just been a community based thing. Of course if they do get involved, unfortunately the nice little small community gathering for Fallout fans who are willing to not only travel out that far, but are also willing to hang out in the scorching heat of the Nevada, all for Fallout, will likely get much bigger. Now on the other hand, I suppose the Pioneer Saloon wouldn’t care as much, since they already enjoy throwing the celebration, as it makes them a lot of money in a place that would otherwise only get a few people visiting every week. But honestly that’s just me hating on corporate entities, maybe Bethesda could actually pull a dub if they get involved this year, who knows. Honestly the worst that could happen is a Bethesda involvement might scare off the New Vegas devs that often come to the event.
What I don't understand is why everyone is asking or hoping for remasters and remakes like those games are decades old now, and others say that they want a new game right next to the other fans who say the opposite... "A remaster". It's already been long overdue, especially with the show coming out for Fallout, that we need a new mainline Fallout game. Fo76 was a spinoff. Now a remaster? It's like they are held at gunpoint so they won't make a Fallout 5...
Another thing to add is how everyone including JuiceHead, has forgot what they've said, that there is mods being worked on / can be done on Fo4 for remasters/remakes of Fo3, FNV, Fo2, Fo1, etc. The only thing that can't be made is a game that doesn't exist yet, aka a next-gen game... Fallout 5
Truth be told a Fallout 3 and New Vegas remaster/special edition with console mod support like Skyrim and F4 would be the easiest bank Bethesda have ever made but they haven’t done it because it’s a combination of Pride (them admitting obsidian did it better) and Lazyiness, Bethesda are the only “AAA” company out there that seems to value Laziness over sheer profit, I still have no idea how Bethesda are still in business because they barely make anything. Starfield was effectively cobbled together in a couple years.
I feel like just a fallout 3 remaster is such a missed opportunity. Like while your at it, new Vegas runs on the same engine and uses most of the same assets anyways, both games have significant portions of known cut content.
This is the second confirmation that I’ve heard that Starfield was going to be on PlayStation and they changed their minds both times. The first time was when Bethesda was an independent company, but that changed when Xbox bought them, now it turns out that Microsoft knew they messed up by cutting off that revenue stream, but the backlash from Xbox players, started an uproar over a game that was “ALREADY PLANNED FOR ALL PLATFORMS”, makes me feel less sorry that there’s a potential that Xbox may fail as a Hardware (console) company and may become a Software (developer) company. You don’t want to share your toys, then you run the risk of losing them. How did that go the first time we heard Starfield was going to become an exclusive? “Sorry, not sorry”? And before anyone says anything, I HATE exclusives……UNLESS they were created BY console company WHEN and not BEFORE they were bought! They should be made available or stay on the platforms they were always on or promised to be on. And if they were created AFTER, I have no problem with a Timed Exclusive, so that ALL OF US can have access to games at some point, no matter what system we play on!
Idk, if it's true that they put Steam on the next Xbox I'll definitely buy one. I love Steam but i prefer to play on console because it's just way more comfortable for me to jump on a console after working all day. If their cross-platform idea goes that way I'd be all for it.
The last thing they need to do is to hurry up and release the new game. They can't even release a game that works 50% of the time. They need to make sure this one actually works when it's released.
With the second season of the show possibly centering in new vegas they should definitely put out a remaster of new vegas with some new dlc that might feed into the show
Texting that number isn’t a tease for anything… It says 33 weeks from now because it’s referencing vault 33 in the show. People find anything from nothing. lol
Hey Juicehead, Any plans on making a video talking about and promoting the new Wayward Realms Kickstarter campaign running right now? It is very cool Unreal Engine 5 sequel to Daggerfall...
Timed Exclusives is all I would want. Big Xbox games stay on the system for a year or two, then goes everywhere else completely would be awesome. I would love the whole industry to shift to this sort of model.
Media and content creators getting hands on with any game doesn’t really mean much to me, because neither will accurately show or test any console game play, so the console players will just end up with more under cooked games within the Buy now we fix later meta .
Whoever is making game choices is so blind to the market. They would make millions if they made remakes of all fallouts, fallout 5, NV 2, maybe even a spin off isometric, etc etc
My issue isn't really with xbox going multi plat for everything. It's that I LIKE xbox and when they slowly take away all the reasons to own one, developers will see no reason to put games in that space. The fewer people who own one, the less incentive for publishers to bother with an xbox version of their titles. We already see this happening. You can't sell a product to no one.
What’s even cooler with that vault tech number is that 213 is the LA area code lol I’m from LA and to have the show set here at home and my favorite game start to blow up I’m so happy and excited. Todd Howard gets a lot of hate but on my momma he’s made worlds I love to visit
Man I used to watch you back in the day to get f04 mods. You helped me make some of my best playthroughs. I hope that the fallout resurgence get you to 1m subscriber's
fallout 1 and 2 need a bigger remake than 3, feels like the whole silent hill 2 remake situation and how it really just doesnt need one, but the original one does
Fallout show was really really good and it also helped to pique interest of gamers in FO. Therefore, it makes complete sense that Microsoft and Bethesda want to release fallout games asap.
Either they're gonna do new vegas real soon because of where the show is going or they're gonna drop something new vegas, wether it be remake or remaster close to or after season 2 of the show. No way they won't capitalize on the sheer popularity and prestige that new vegas has. Add good gunplay to the game and it'd just make it that much better
Dragon age did mentioned a gameplay reveal in the summer. So I assumed that we would see it during summer games fest but which presentation I wasn't sure about
I really don’t understand why they would release a TV show and have nothing planned for it and now they’re scrambling for something. Like why doesn’t Bethesda just hire the Fallout 4 New Vegas team give ‘em some extra help and make it an official release? It’s all in the FO4 engine and a ton of new assets were made already. What are they allergic of? Microsoft bought them and they didn’t have things in the pipeline for sooner rather then later? Can’t tell if it’s incompetence or extremely bad planning
Just off the background footage alone, Indiana Jones has better facial animations than Starfield, fallout and elder scrolls combined. I really hope we can expect something atleast that good with elder scrolls 6
