Such a powerful record, and cautionary tale. Having seen this when it came out, this stuck with me, especially Samashki. Bucha and the other war crimes in Ukraine were no surprise
I can get behind fighting extremist insurgencies, but the first war was not that at all, samashki was a disgusting display in counter insurgency warfare, same tactics as dirlewangers in belarus
@@Beardblaster actually the documentary portrays both sides. Such as you get the Russian perspectives then you get the Chechen perspectives. You also get to witness war crimes happening in front of your eyes
@@monkeycat48 I didn't say it only protrays one side more than another, guerilla documentary is a filming style not in reference to guerilla fighters. Google is your friend :)
