7:50 alright I am going to give you a bit of lore about Hikaru. During metal masters( Metal Fight Explosion) and metal fury (4D Metal Fight) due to PTSD Hikaru put aquario down because of the fight with Ryuga during battle bladers. Only helping by holding aquario during the Nemesis fight but not battling. Just giving the energy for gingka to fight Nemesis using the star fragments from all the modern beys. As per Hikaru's late mother's wishes. Yes they were for Hikaru to be the strongest. Hiyoma was a different case. After rock(Clay) Aries was destroyed during the fight against Reji of the dark nebula organization ( battle bladers fight team wbba vs dark nebula organization) hiyoma was unable to battle again due to the loss of Aries when poison serpent( yes poison serpent) literally shredding rock(clay) Aries to pieces using it's dark move Venom barrage. Which completely wrecked it and hiyoma also has a similar case to Hikaru. But in more of a complete train wreck. Which during the Nemesis fight Hiyoma doesn't have Aries and hasn't gotten it fixed never picking up a bey again after the battle against Poison Serpent and Reji of the Dark Nebula Organization. I also grew up with this series and yes I do see the flaws and everything but nostalgia glasses blind the truth about the flaws. Oh yeah. Hikaru's PTSD was caused by Ryuga and during metal masters( Metal Fight Explosion) Hikaru has a panic attack due to the PTSD when Tsubasa and Yu vs Benkei( Bull) and Demori in the world championships unleashing the dark power in person had a traumatic flashback to the battle bladers events

For Metal Fusion sure I get it, but as soon as he beat Ryuga all that importance behind his character is completely drained imo. We follow Kenta just as long as Gingka throughout the series so him being the secret underdog would've made the ending even better to me.
