JJ deserved to be there. She was exciting, phenomenal and the most original performance I've ever seen on any talent competition. Remember these performances because she will be big. This type of exposure is great for her career which will be long and great. Wonderful young girl. Such passion and dedication, how could you not love her.
I think it's a shame they put her in this Barbie-ish costume. It's almost as though they thought she was too scary before (several people said 'you scare me') and also that they wanted to really play up the contrast between her 'cuteness' and her 'warrior' talent. But I feel like they went over the top and it seemed to me to respect her skills less to have her doing it dressed like that. Also I don't think this routine was as good as the semi-finals one or showed her talents off as well. I think she's great though, a really awesome kid.
