u dont have to be good at football to understand the game tho. seen many ex footabllers who are pundits and talk shit. besides, mourinho wasnt even a player was he? he was a translator but he knew the game.

@@footballminds3706 not so much about the game but experience playing the game. Understanding preparation , Training, diet that stuff. Plus if you haven’t played the game at a level where it’s a job and your family’s future depends on it. Not many footballers know how to do something else. Pressure to perform for your manager or you will lose your job and have to move your family again. Being injured.Fan pressure. I can go on and on. These guys have an opinion which they are entitled to. But often ignore many factors in a player or coach
