Howard's walking off the meal line was "borrowed" from a The Nanny episode "The Passed Over Story" from 1997.

I learned several of my Mom's recipes before she passed, including her cream spinach, her meat loaf, and chocolate mouse pie, glad i have them down.

There really is something special about your mom's food. My mom's been gone for four years. I'm a great cook, and my sister is - okay, she's a decent cook. But even though we have my mom's recipes, in her own handwriting, we can never come close to her cooking. It's like a magic ingredient that only she possessed.

Technically, Jane as Thor isn’t gender equality, “Thor” is his given name, not a title, it’s appropriation at best, at least in comics. Other characters who were worthy got their own monikers and hammers. Jane as “Female Thor” was just lazy.

I don't usually rehearse before I call. In fact, I mostly text. I never know if my the person I want to contact is busy, so I send a text telling them what's up. Sometimes they give an immediate answer, sometimes I don't hear from them for hours, but I at least know I reached out to them.

Although it was relatively predictable in a lot of ways, I think this is one of the best-done episodes of this show (especially when you consider it was probably written and produced very quickly after the actress's death). I think the Sheldon/Leonard conflict probably could have been written a little better, but you have to imagine that they were probably originally going to have the conflict throughout an entire episode before weaving in the story-line about the leftover dinners. Honestly, to me, it feels like Leonard here is the one who acts more out of character than Sheldon. It also seems like he was mostly fine after Penny bought him the helicopter, until it was brought up again at the dinner.

Here we have a mistake on script: Penny, Bernie and Amy know who is Thor, they discussed about his hammer in 6x13- The Bakersfield Expedition. Maybe it was another world! 😀

I have no problem with gender equality or female superheroes. I actually love them! I am however, largely against gender/race swapping existing characters that people love and grew up with to achieve these goals. Just invent exciting new characters of the gender or race you want to represent. It is all fantasy after all. The Boys has a diverse cast of all new superheroes so clearly it's possible.
