That's when it hit Sheldon that the woman he is going to marry has the greatest, most unconditional love for him. It stuns him that Amy, a hopeless romantic, is willing to give up on the idea of a romantic wedding if it means getting married to him in peace, without fighting. To see someone carry such a genuine affection, that strong, patient, kind, unconditional love - made Sheldon realize what a great discovery she was to him all these years, like it hit him he will never be able to find another person like Amy in his life again. That she is really the one and he wants everyone to know he has this greatest discovery to hold and love for his entire life.
