Season 4 Episode 5 This, clearly, doesn't belong to me. "What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?"
And we see the division of pie, A E.T. Figure, a Rock, Literal Portraits of Train axels and a balloon with Derail? and two of the exact same xbox 360 game.
Let me see if I can explain your situation using Physics: What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane wrapped helically around an axis?
Man the 1st 20 sec of this video hit kinda hard now that I'm older, I loved how Sheldon asked him such a personal question that only a friend could ask in that way and Leonard responding with the honest answer.
She was so fucking annoying back then and so fucking annoying now because shes so weird. Sheldon doesnt get obsessed with his friends in weird ways like Amy does.
0:27 how on Earth did they film this? It makes it look like there is a 4th wall when clearly this room is a set and there is no 4th wall, pretty awesome stuff!
They should add a few neighbors. Not necessarily the "wacky neighbor" which is common on TV comedies, but some slightly interesting folks of various backgrounds. It could add to the show, while making the apartment building more realistic. A "win win"!
The whole BBT episodes are hilarious, it's sometimes difficult to choose, some I watch just over when it pops up --- just for yet another laugh - the way Leonard explains using physics and the look on Sheldon's face when answeres screwed 😂😂
In simply saying the word "Leonard" and including the rest of the dialogue in this once scene, this is proven to be one of the best, well-written sitcoms ever.
Amy has a point there: sometimes I feel like a thing of honey and the guys are the bees depending on how I feel, like its terrifying. And when I feel this way, I always get comments like “oh my god you look so pretty today” and stuff like that, I feel like it’s what you put out that attracts people.
But the german geleimt ("glued") has the exact meaning of beeing screwed - I would know, I'm german. You count translate it litterally and it would say beeing geschraubt, but it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever. I especially like it that it was even possible to translate it
In dutch we have the same kind of expression: “onder de plak zitten”, i think it comes pretty close to you geleimt: plak equals sticky so you’d be stuck/ sticky to someone, being in a relationship
cornucopia : noun a symbol of plenty consisting of a goat's horn overflowing with flowers, fruit, and corn. an ornamental container shaped like a goat's horn. an abundant supply of good things of a specified kind. "the festival offers a cornucopia of pleasures"
Watching this episode, I was wondering, is this the first time they ever shown that fourth wall behind the computer? It is almost always invisible to the audience. Also makes the apartment look a lot smaller.
I don't think he over-complicated it. For a screw to be formed one needs a inclined plane to be wrapped helically around an axis. Try doing it by taking a right angled paper triangle, colouring its longest side red and then wrapping it around a pen or a pencil. The coloured side can be seen as though it were a screw. Yes, he could have said this slightly differently. But, hey what's the BBT without a little verbosity :)
